This is the only Pho place I've been going for the past year since my nail technician told me about it. I've eaten at other Pho places and Pho Kim broth is perfectly seasoned, flavorful and like my mom broth. My husband will only eat Pho from Pho Kim since I've brought it home. Love the food, it's very delicious. Although my server was very rude, she was indirectly sassy and had an attitude towards my friend and I. She rolled her eyes when we asked for a refill on our waters and kind of "tossed" our food on the table. Im usually the type to tip 20% because i've worked as a server before, but this is one of the few times I didn't want to tip and i didn't end up tipping her. This is absolutely the best Vietnamese restaurant I've visited. First, the portion of food was enormous. We ordered pho and couldn't even finish it. The owner, a very nice Vietnamese gentleman, also took some time talking to us about the cultural origin of the food items in the menu. One of us have been to Vietnam and we took great delight listening to their conversation. At the end of the lunch we agreed that it was the best Vietnamese restaurant we've ever been. We've ordered takeout several times due to COVID. I have had both the rare steak and shrimp pho, as well as the shrimp fried rice and the steamed dumplings. Everything was fantastic! And the food was still hot and fresh when we got home. The steak and shrimp were tender, the dumplings were delicious, and the shrimp friend rice was flavorful and filling. Pho Kim honestly had the best bun bo hue in town, I usually don't like bun bo hue because I'm from Vietnam but I can definitely say that theirs has left me amazed. My family also tried their shaken beef and it's phenomenal. Good flavor, good taste, good texture. I don't come to aurora often but I will definitely come back more for pho Kim. This place is awesome! I'm from orange county in california, so I know what good vietnamese food is. Came in on a saturday around 6pm, and was surprised I was the only person in there. I ordered a large rare steak pho, and it came out quickly in about 5min. I was pleasantly surprised that it tasted exactly like what I had at home, and the hot broth was perfect on a cold night. Don't tell too many people because I don't want to wait too long to get my fix for this traditional central bowl. A solid A for grade. Must aa secret item off the menu. All the best pho places are in sketchy strip malls. They have a pot of broth in the back that has been simmering for 30 years. There is Vietnamese pop music blaring on one TV and CSI on the other. The basil leaf that came with the pho has black spots, it's old and not fresh. This is not my bowl of Authentic Pho.
