Arrived on a Saturday around 2:30 and it was completely empty which made us a little nervous, however the place was very clean and service was prompt. The music was a good volume and appropriate tempo (some places play house music and I can't stand it). I ordered the #16 combo vermicelli bowl and my bf ordered the #6 rare steak and brisket pho large. Right off the bat he said it smelled strongly of hamburger which turned him off but as he ate it he said he noticed it less. He wasn't sure if the smell was because the meat was char broiled or if they added liquid smoke. He said he would have liked more broth and that it tasted more like stock (made from meat, not bones) instead of broth so it tasted more like soup than pho. He said it was piping hot and that the large noodle portion was a plus, the noodles were al dente. The meat was tender and sliced super thin which we both really enjoyed. Also, the pho spoon did not have the curved end so that you can hook it to the edge of your bowl so it kept falling in. My bowl was beautifully presented and the chicken was some of the best I've ever had, juicy and well seasoned. The noodles were hot which was disappointing (they should be chilled), the cucumber slices were huge which was awkward to eat, and the beef was very fatty. The shrimp was excellent and the egg rolls were standard (good but nothing exceptional). I would have liked more lettuce and carrots in my bowl as well. I also ordered a Taro Boba which was super sweet and tasty. As much as I liked most of the things, the noodles being hot is a deal breaker for me and I wouldn't come back. Happy to try one of their other restaurants though! In addition, the restroom was pretty gross and the flusher didn't work very well. read more

I returned for a solo lunch and decided to eat there. I was immediately greeted upon entering but the person who greeted me didn't seem all too excited or thrilled to see anyone. I was directed to sit anywhere in a section close to the register. The general decor looks very new and clean. However there is a slight smell of mop water throughout the restaurant. From there I perused the menu and found a well done brisket/rare flank pho. I ordered a small bowl because I wanted to head over to the bakery at M-Mart afterwards for dessert. The pho isn't bad but you can tell it's just run of the mill. Tastes like the broth was made that morning with minimal effort. It's not bad but nothing wows me either. At the end of the meal I went to pay at the register and when I wished the guy at the front a good day he seemed shocked. He seemed more interested in running off than welcoming guests or chatting with anyone. If you want a no nonsense place with ok food this is where you go. The food is ok at best so don't expect too much out of it. I'd go as a last resort but there are so many other places near here. I would go there first. read more

My husband I braved the weather and passed a few pho restaurants and decided to eat here because I liked this restaurant before. When we got to this restaurant, my hubby and I were the only dine in customers here. We ordered spring rolls and 2 large pho and hot tea. Spring rolls were okay but some parts of the rice paper was hard and chewy like it didn't soaked up enough water. My rice noodles for pho was over cooked and broth looked like it came from the bottom of the broth pot- like milky. I wonder if our soups sat under window too long. I like it when my broth is more clear and mouth burning hot. Veggies for the soup were kinda stingy- only came with one sprig of basil but plenty of other stuff . Requested more basil and the waiter brought another sprig of basil. When he asked if we needed anything, I said no but my hubby noticed the disappointment in my face and he knew we needed more side veggies so he requested more veggies. My prior experiences with pho restaurants were they are very generous with side veggies where i could take a stem or two basil and propagate them at home so no waste here. This definitely has changed management because I don't remember the food being this terrible when I used to live in Colorado seven years ago I would come to this place consistently until 2019. The crab cheese wontons used to have real crab in them and and the broth isn't strained, you can smell the bone residue. If you're into really cheap tasting food that doesn't have that authentic Vietnamese touch then this place will be OK for you. The Vietnamese rolls weren't even Vietnamese style eggrolls. They were fried the same way as a spring roll with little to no filling and no vermicelli noodle. When I used to come here, the people who worked there used to actually eat the food on their breaks. I have been going here as my default pho place for years now. I love the broth! I've tried a couple of other places but always come back to this one. I'm not super big on pho broth with a strong cinnamon flavor, so that's why I like Pho 75's broth. They did recently get new management and remodeled, and although I sometimes miss the hole-in-the-wall feel, their broth hasn't changed, so I still enjoy this place. One change with the new management is their crab cheese wonton recipe; they are amazing! So big and flavorful! It seems like they usually only have one server working at a time, but I always get quick service and a friendly staff member. Always a good, consistent experience for me. read more

Coming from CA I'm spoiled with the flavor and also the quickness of the pho being brought out. The Pho was well done tasty. The broth is one of the best around. The service was good and on time. They told me 20 minutes and they were done in 20 minutes. The ambiance of the restaurant was good and th side veggies were cold to the touch and not soggy. Now we have to get to the negatives. The containers that contained the pho were cheap. The food was cold by the time I got it home. And most PHo Places take great care on their takeout containers because most people want their soup hot and it was ice by the time I got home 30 min drive time. The Pho was still good after reheating but pair with the cold veggies and hangry was pretty disappointed but the pho was good. We had chicken pho and brisket pho. The spring rolls and peanut sauce seemed liked they used cheap ingredients compared to other Pho places. Peanut butter dipping sauce was bland and seemed like it came out of a bottle or jar. The potstickers were good but once again seemed cheap. Most Pho restaurants have their own flavor this one seemed like spring rolls and potstickers come from any Chinese restaurant in the city. So happy I live close to good pho restaurant. The prices are very fair and the portion is huge. I got the large and had tons of broth to take home. The broth is very rich and there is plenty of meat in my bowl. They also offer specials that are written on a black board near the front. I'm currently in search of a new favorite pho spot, as my previous favorite seems to have changed their broth recipe. In the midst of this search, I came across Pho 75. The interior is clean and open, with curious ambient music playing. I found this a little kooky, which translated directly into intrigue. Waitstaff was friendly and accommodating, and sweetly helped resolve an Vietnamese iced coffee mishap (my partner in his haste dumped the coffee on ice with mixing in the sweetened condensed milk!). I appreciated the care our waiter took to our experience. Then, the pho. Meat was well portioned and the broth was tasty. Plenty of basil and bean sprouts accompanied my steaming bowl of beef pho - no complaints there. You would think that So-Cal would have better Pho than Colorado but that's not the case. If anything, I'm still in search of that one perfect Pho place in the Diamond Bar/Hacienda Heights area to prove me wrong. So far, haven't found it yet. Every single time I'm craving Pho, I'm always thinking of Pho 75, my all time favorite Pho spot. My family and I used to go to Pho 79 on Mississippi every Sunday but after switching to Pho 75, it's been somewhat a permanent change. I still have love for Pho 79 if I'm in the area, but Pho 75 has more zest in their soup that I'd rather get their Pho instead. They're also quite attentive as far as getting your water and taking your orders. If you are regulars, like my family, they'll immediately remember the things you usually order. For example, my mom likes onions so at one point, the waiter immediately brought out extra onions without my mom having to ask him. Some of the other dishes I have tried here are the egg roll appetizer, which are by far one of the best egg rolls I've had and the Bun Dac Biet, a rice noodle dish with grilled shrimp, marinated beef, veggies, and egg rolls. Pho 75 is the place to be if you want a decent bowl of pho. The "famous four" (Tu quy) at $29.95 is a large family style dish that contains grilled pork, grilled shrimp, deep fried shrimp paste, soft shell crab with assorted vegetables and lettuce. I recommend inviting 2 to 3 other friends to dig into this dish as you wrap up meats and veggies with rice paper and dipping it into the fish sauce. The meats are flavorful and the variety from this foursome keeps the taste buds from becoming bored. Hard to go wrong with that. One of the worst meals we have had in a long time. We had a simple order. 4 sides of Vietnamese Eggrolls and 1 order of Vermicelli with Shrimp. My guys love Vietnamese eggrolls and I ordered the regular ones (was supposed to have meat in them) but they sent vegetable eggrolls. On top of that, even though they were on the vermicelli they were very small compared to other Vietnamese restaurants we frequent. The vermicelli in all 5 orders was over cooked and mushy. The pickled veggies (usually my favorite) were bitter. The shrimp was overcooked, dry, and slightly burned. We did take away and ordering was a challenge. I had to use a Vietnamese to English translation program on my phone to place the order. The ordering program was not user friendly at all. We were hopeful because of all of the lovely reviews. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. I would think twice about eating here if such a simple order went so wrong. read more

But this place has been my go-to-spot for Vietnamese food because their broth is very good(I've been to various Vietnamese Pho go-to places in Seoul but Pho75's broth is pretty authentic). My boyfriend and I called for takeout and they said it would be 10 minutes, which was great because we were looking for something quick. When we arrived we were greeted nicely and immediately, and saw that our food was ready. We ordered the Crab Cheese Wontons for an appetizer and split a large Tái (rare steak) Pho for dinner. The portion sizes are huge! We split the Pho and had enough left oven for one of us to take for lunch. The Crab Cheese Wontons were the best I've had. They were larger than I expected too. They had the perfect amount of crisp and you could actually see the pieces of crab meat, unlike other places I've visited in the past. They are a must have! The Pho was amazing too. I tried the pho tai chin, cha gio (egg rolls), cafe sua da (Vietnamese iced chicory coffee with condensed milk) and com dac biet (combo rice plate with three types of meat). The broth on the side that came with the com dac biet was a little weird because it tasted super cinnamon-like. The thit nuong was bit chewy and the grilled flavor wasn't as good as other com dac biets I've tried. I liked the way the egg was cooked on the rice dish though. Everything was just OK. There are so many pho places in the Denver area and this just doesn't compare to the over places I've been. The broth was alright, not very flavorful but not bad. I picked this place because I wanted to try bun rieu which is a crab noodle soup. I've had this dish before and this one just didn't measure up. I'm not even sure my soup had any crab in it. My friends got a regular pho and a vegetarian pho. I tried both of their broths, and they were just mediocre, nothing you can't recreate yourself at home. I think pho is all about the broth so when it's not good, it's hard to give a good review. Service was alright as well.
