Wish they had the sauce pictured with their Vietnamese egg rolls. :(
Alex L.

Banh Mi, yes. Pho, No. I got sick off of the pho for some reason. However the banh mi was good. Not sure why they added lettuce so I did my best to pull that out. I asked for the same sauce that comes with their Vietnamese egg rolls and were even pictured in the menu. They said they only serve that with hoison sauce. (shrug) Our waiter was nice and the restaurant is very pleasant. It s a cross between sit down and fast casual. Overall, a good place to grab a quick bite. It is very similar to other Vietnamese restaurants around Aurora. The one warning is they use the microwave for something and I'm not sure what but if you sit anywhere within earshot of the kitchen you will hear the beeping. On the fence to return but hey, at least we gave it a shot.

When you expect bad service from an Asian restaurant and they somehow exceed your expectations. The waiter was slow, forgot a few requests and found a way to baffle my girlfriend and I. He finally brings out the limes and small bowls to dip sriracha/hoisin when he walks past me and dumps the limes onto the trash plate (see attached pic). Caps on the sriracha and hoisin were dirty, no one in the restaurant and our food still took 10 minutes. My girlfriend didn't tip. SHE ALWAYS TIPS... this was a rare occasion. Soup is solid though.

Wanted bahn mi, but then saw all the great pho reviews - so decided to try both- which I Highly recommend The pho was great- broth is flavorful and portion sizes are large. Tried then pork bahn mi - the pork is insanely good and bread was fresh. Overall really great experience. The owner seems so nice- he came and checked on us to make sure we were enjoying the food

Come get a yummy Bahn mi at Pho Kim! I had one delivered last week and fully intended to on,y eat half....which I did...for like 20 minutes and then had to go eat the rest! Today I took a friend there for lunch! It was terrific again. I got home with half a sandwich but anticipate it will be gone in the next 30 min. Think what makes it so good it they take a little but of the center of the bread out...not too much but just enough so you don't fight so hard to get that beautiful bite of all the goodies. The bread is so perfect, a light crunch on the outside and that lovely soft center. You just can't go wrong it's so fresh! The staff was very kind, prompt and helpful...talented too. She was handling it all on her own! Great job - we didn't wait for anything we wanted. Another kind of oddly nice feature is their credit card receipts...they come with t Not only the calculation of the tip, but also the total is printed with a little check box neck to each option. Must solve a lot of addition errors. I liked it because It required little thought.

Best pho in the area! We try many pho shops around Denver and it is our favorite. Family owned and operated. Great service!

It's been a long time coming but Dan Da is hands down my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Colorado…read moreand probably in the US. When you think of Vietnamese, Americans tend to think of Pho, noodle bowls and lemongrass chicken but we need more places the focuses in home cooking and dishes that locals eat. Ingredients are fresh and dishes pack a powerful flavor bomb...I mean wow! The use of shrimp paste and other traditional ingredients really elevate flavors that many Americans are not used to, but you have to try it to understand. Their claypots are a must order and with a side of rice....you'll be eating for days! The star of the night was the pork and calamari claypot which is cooked in shrimp paste and your favorite Vietnamese spices and herbs. You'll finish bowls of rice with this dish, it packs so much flavor that you'll be wanting more. It's a great mix of salty, sweet and umami from the fermented shrimp paste. The Vietnamese curry was thick and packed with succulent shrimp. The veggies at a very nice brightness to balance out the coconut milk. The last dish we had was a shrimp lemon grass in the clay pot and that was also a hit with everyone! Service is amazing and they definitely know how to recommend dishes to match your taste buds. They went out of the way to help everyone and it shows. If you need a new spot, check Dan Da!

The vibe is warm and relaxed with low lighting and volume. You can choose from booths or a table. The booth was firm yet soft and not worn out or peeling. I ordered the pho with rare steak and two beef ribs. It was only $16 compared to $32 when I order that in Cali. My fiance got pho with well done brisket. The first thing she commented on was how delicious the broth is. It's golden, warm, and savory like a big hug for your insides. I'm picky with my pho broth and this place is on point. I've been in Central California for the past 6 years, so it was great to finally have some PHOnomenal pho. My fiance loves sandwiches and never had a banh mi, so we ordered the grilled beef and it was . She loved it so much that she ordered one to go.

The broth was on the lighter side and lacked depth, and the chicken itself was dry and a bit tough to chew. The vegetable egg rolls were disappointing, they were mushy on the inside and tasted like they were straight from the freezer. The Thai tea was the highlight. Not overly sweet, which I appreciated. Service was a bit hit or miss. It was busy when I came in, which is understandable, but when I went up to pay, I was ignored while the woman at the counter continued talking with her family. Another staff member eventually stepped in to help me. Overall, not a terrible experience, but not one that would bring me back.

It's easy to get distracted by all of the dessert options in the bakery case. Pastries. Cakes. Cream. Fruit. It's all here in combinations that will make you say, OMG. We had a Pain au chocolate, ube black sesame cake, egg nog and ginger cake and passion fruit cake. All were fantastic and unique in flavor. We had all the coffees but the ube foam makes for a whole new experience. The chicken banh mi Sammie's heated are so good. Love the pickled onions and aoli on a homemade baguette. It's hard not to eat the entire thing. We went a bit crazy and spent $70 but it was worth every penny. Seating is limited. Four tables and some small spaces for individual dining. Service directed to one customer at a time so you have to be patient. Huge bakery space which tells me the bake and sell to commercial customers.

I had a dinner reservation for 1 at 5:30pm on a Sunday night. First off, I appreciate that they let me have a table seat to myself. I know a lot of places that want solo diners at the bar. My waitress was absolutely perfect, she gave me such excellent recommendations and really helped shape my meal. Everything she recommended was fantastic. I had 3 dishes, because I wanted to try everything. I would've been fine with 2, since these portion sizes were pretty generous, but I just had to. My first dish was the trứng và trứng - soft scrambled egg, brown butter, fish sauce, trout roe, rice. This was so comforting, so homey, so warm. It was exactly what I needed after a long weekend of working. Get this. My second dish was the tàu hũ ky cuộn tôm - shrimp cake, butter, trout roe, mint. You're probably thinking this is like a fried crab cake, but it wasn't. There's basically no breadcrumbs in this, so it's more like when you get shrimp paste at hot pot. It was so tender, moist, and so flavorful. And of course, my veggie choice was the bắp cải luộc - charred cabbage, anchovy breadcrumbs, egg yolk. My waitress had said this was basically if they put charred cabbage on top of the filling in a deviled egg and she was right. This was so good. If you're into deviled eggs at all, get this.
