I came here on a whim. Because of work I drop my Manteca. And I'm so glad I did! I live in Sacramento and we have a lot of bomb Vietnamese food out here. And I would say my favorite thing here is the banh mi! It's a bit on the pricey side about 2 sandwiches for 20.03. But now Everytime I come to Manteca I have to drop by here and order a grill chicken and a grill pork sandwich together. Comes out fresh and hot. And most time I have banh mi I have to ask for extra sauce. Because it's so dry. Nope! Not here! But it's like saucey enough to where I don't have to ask for sauce. But it's no over drenched. Definitely a place to try when in the area! The noodles were okay. read more

Pretty darn good. I don't usually eat Pho, but the seasoning, spices, broth, all really fresh.

Came here to try out the food and I ordered the grilled pork chop plate which I assumed only came with one grilled pork chop so I added an extra pork chop and a fried egg. When I picked up the food and got home, I opened the box to see that it did come with two pork chops and now I have an extra one. The grilled pork chop was good and it had some kind of yellow glaze to it which I felt like they used too much of it. The steamed rice was good and the egg was ok also. I'll probably come back and try something else but if I did get the pork chop again I would ask for little of that yellow glaze they used. read more

Excellent pho and service! We had the pho ga and it was hearty and delicious with a serving size that was perfect. The Vietnamese cold coffee was very good too. The ambiance is welcoming with well lit interiors and an almost island shack ambiance. A great addition to good restaurants in Manteca. You will want pho for more! read more

I have only one star because I usually form like going to this location but decided to give it another try since my kids were hungry for some pho and this was the only restaurant that was open at the time. We walked in at 8:30 pm and were told by the worker that they were closed when it clearly said they open until 9pm. Mind you this was a Saturday night people were still dinning in there and we were turned away. It was 30 mins before they closed posted on their door and on their website. We will not return here and will drive father to find another pho spot. The food is mediocre I've had better elsewhere but my kids wanted something quick and this was the nearest one at the time. Please do better and update your business hours to reflect the correct business hours! It was a waste of time for me to walk in and be turned away at 8:30! Do better! read more

Had to try out my old favorite pho spot since they are under new ownership... Service is attentive and it's nice to see a familiar face from the past ownership. I first had my typical ribeye pho... i ordered a large and the only negative would be that I wish there was more noodles. The ribeye is served on a separate plate with red onion and cilantro.. this ribeye is even better then before. There is a nice char flavor and the meat is plentiful. The broth can have a bit more flavor but overall it's on par for what I expect and I tend to dress mine up anyway. Overall the pho is a 8/10 and the ribeye makes it a 9/10. I went back today and tried their beef banh mi. This was my favorite item on their menu with the past ownership, and the beef is the same ribeye that comes with my pho so I knew I was in for a treat. Unlike other pho spots in town, they really fill their banh mi up! Plenty of meat, a beautiful bunch of fresh produce and a good amount of their sauce (in fact maybe a bit to much as it was dripppng everywhere but still amazing... can't hate on to much sauce) Overall the banh mi was just slightly below the previous owners banh mi's on my list of top sandwiches. I would rate it a 8.8/10. I will absolutely be back. read more

I recently went to Pho Island for the first time and got the ribeye pho. It was so good. I immediately came back the following week. Their spin on the meat is the best flavor I've ever had! I don't know how I'll ever get it anywhere else. read more

Came in at 8:30pm, half hour before close. They wouldn't allow dine in (just me, not a big party). Guess they don't want my business. Won't go back here again. The place next door (El Jardin) was much more welcoming. read more

Yo that spring roll wrap would hit so hard if the pork wasnt grilled. The peanut sauce, plus the wrap itself is so good and fresh - along with the ingredients that it is a shame the pork is grilled. It detracts from the fresh taste of the roll and overpowers the flavor of the shrimp and veggies. Maybe I can try it without the grilled pork and pay extra for shrimp as a substitute, that would SLAP SO HARD! If someone could try this I'd appreciate it I'm going to try in a week or two. Their iced coffee is bomb. read more

Food was great and service was awesome and the place looks amazing. I would recommend going there .

If it's getting close to closing time make sure you communicate it to your customers that is take out only if you're in a hurry to close. My son went to eat with his mom close to closing they took their order to eat there with no issue. My son has autism so he takes his time but nothing excessive. They told them they had to leave the premises "hurry up you are trespassing". These are the new owners which are terrible at running this location. Rip off with what they give you and rude to people of special needs. My son goes to this place so much they know him by name and know exactly his order. This new ownership has ruined the vibe there. If you want better food and actually what you pay for go to "Pho rice and rolled" in Tracy and Manteca. read more

The food service was horrible, my mom ordered online and went to pick it up. The white noodles were really stale. We tried breaking it apart with a fork and it couldn't handle it. It was hard rock. Don't go here! read more

This used to be a different Pho spot but now it's a Pho Island, which is exciting. I typically visit this place whenever I'm in Stockton as it's currently my favorite place to get Pho in the area. Now I'm excited it's even closer. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed. read more

Very rude people!!First time going a young lady was rude and the second time a men was very rude to us when we sat down patiently waiting for the rest of our order that never come !! so had to go ask about it then men was rude to me and yelled he was busy helping someone else then went to the table to check our bowls and had the nerve to say I ate the chicken pho that we were still waiting for!! I showed him the receipt he was still holding on too that it was three phos in total and only two at the table ,it was so embarrassing and disgusting how he acted!!! we won't be going here anymore and I'll let my family and friends how unpleasant this was for the second time !!!! Best PHO, I have ever had highly recommend this place.. wonderful staff nice and clean. Great location lovely way to spend the afternoon or evening. read more

Let me start by saying we got takeout which means that it can't be quite as good as in the restaurant. Still it was amazing, the soup wasn't too salty and the portions while on the larger end were definitely not too big. We also got the tofu fresh rolls and they were delicious. I got the build your own pho with brisket and meatballs. The brisket was super tender and the meatballs weren't too chewy. We also got the build your own pho with brisket and flank. Again, beautifully tender and absolutely delicious. read more

Live down the street and this used to be me and my partners favorite spot until they rebranded :( We tried it once after they remodeled everything but it no longer tastes authentic and the price for the pho soups went up but they give a smaller amount compared to before. The new employees are also not as welcoming as the ones we'd see every time we'd come here. However, the inside does look nice but we miss how it was before. Most likely never coming back here again read more

The night staff was completely rude and very unhelpful!! I went in a hour before close and they treated me and my family as if we were a burden. I frequent this place multiple times a week and have referred multiple people there. I will never go there again and tell everyone I know to stop going there. read more

Food was ok, staff very attentive. Portion size aren't greatest, too much rice noodles in pho. Recommend not ordering a side of veggies. Besides being over cooked, many were old with marks of mold. read more

Loved them in Stockton. I'm so happy they're out in Manteca now and very close. They bring a twist on pho with their rib-eye pho. It enhances the flavor of the pho and is delicious. It looks like they kept some of the staff from the previous pho restaurant, which is nice to see. Their customer service is great. read more

Service is ok. We dine in on a Saturday evening. We ordered Grilled Chicken, Grilled pork, calamari, fresh spring roll. The taste is ok. It's not that good compared to other Vietnamese restaurants we've tried. Grilled pork is meh. It seems like they just add too mich sauce barbeque sauce on top. Fresh spring roll is ok. The Calamari is the worst Calamari i have eaten. It's like you are chewing a leather. I cannot eat even one slice piece as it is too hard and stiff! Don't eat on this occasion place! read more

food was good. the food was well cooked and flavored with pretty big serving sides. service was a little slow but we had a very big party.
