I was here with a party of @ 20 which had been reserved ahead of time. It was a Thursday evening. We had seen an advertisement on their IG page for $5 Frose' Every Thursday. Once there we were charged $10 for them. when we mentioned the ad we were told "oh it's not every Thursday" And the glasses were barely 1/2 full. Before 8pm they started clearing up all the tables around us and moving our stuff. we asked what time they closed and were told 9, then a little bit later came back and said "actually, we're closing at 8:30 today" and basically kicked out the few of us that were left. The advertisement also says they are open until 10 on Thursdays. Definitely won't be back. read more

They have a nice outdoor patio with fire pits on those cooler evenings making it nice and cozy. The inside of the place was super cute and girly! This place is gorgeous, inside, & out. The S'mores martini was so delicious, I had two, but definitely could have had way more! Food wise they have yummy pizzas, and lots of snack foods, like charcuterie, Brie with fruit, and breads. No huge meals. The bartender was super sweet and gave us great recommendations. Horrible service! Came in with a girls group of 6 on Thursday at 4pm. She asked if we had a reservation but said no because it was an early meeting time and a small number of people. The woman immediately placed a TIMER onto our table and said we could not stay longer than an hour and a half. While nobody was in the building whatsoever. No easy parking at all. If you're gonna spend money at a local business this is NOT the one to go to. As a customer I appreciate feeling welcomed to enjoy my stay and spend money- which I would have done had the timer not gone off telling us to get out of the empty building. It's really sad, I wanted to support a local business and yet this place is not the place to support. The first girl who arrived got moved to three different tables. And then we were told the charcuterie boxes were pre-made and ready to go- yet when we ordered them we were told "my sister is making them right now". Overall inconsistent and not enjoyable to support whatsoever. Next time, I'm sure Camp 4 will accommodate, which is where I'll be going with my friends and my money ! read more

All flavors were good, but a little sweet. I crave a little more savory in my life. My friend ordered the Margherita pizza and that was large enough for us to split, and flavorful. All this topped off with great ambiance and friendly staff. The staff really made it perfect. This is my favorite spot in Modesto! I'm so glad I discovered this gem. It's a beautiful location with indoor and outdoor seating options. There are blankets available if you get cold easily. This is one of my all time favorite places to go if I want a laid-back, wine lounge-y type of ambiance. We have tried a few of their wine drinks, usually they put sake in them since they don't serve liquor but they are delicious. They had a special last time we went, it was a Watermelon Mexican Candy with tequila flavored sake, watermelon flavor and purée I believe, and rimmed with chamoy and tamarindo! My favorite one to date. I also loved the Blueberry Smash, Pink Margarita, and the flavored spritzers. They always have the best fruit purées for mimosas too and a great beer and wine selection. My favorite food to order is the charcuterie board. We get the biggest one (forget what it's called on the menu but it's $24) and it is perfect for 3-4 people if you need something light. I have yet to try the pizza but it looks delightful. The trio spread of pita bread, artichoke dip, goat cheese, and hummus is worth a try too. The soft pretzel and cheese was a little hard so it wasn't my favorite. But everything else was incredible! I forgot the name of our server but she helped us on a Sunday evening! Walking inside, I was kinda skeptical of staying because it was a few older people inside, and it was very quiet. Felt awkward lol. There was an older guitarist there tuning up his guitar about to ay some tunes but the hostess came from outside and seen my face and saved me from the awkwardness of the inside and offered me a seat outside lol. I felt like she read my mind lol. Anyway. AMANDA was amazing. Her service was on point. Checked on us periodically if we needed anything, offered more propane for our fire pit when needed. Shes great. She was also the only person hosting the entire night. My girls and I ordered the mimosa flight, which was bomb! 3 different yummy flavors, so good we ordered a 2nd round lol. We also ordered the fondue, which was okay. Nothing fancy, just cute. The pizza was cool too, nothing amazing but good to snack on. The ambiance is just super cute and chill. I was attending a women event and ordering food and drinks like everyone else when I was greeted by a very Hostile bartender named Maddie who most likely was short handed but could have still treated everyone including her coworkers with some kindness. After realizing she didn't bother to grab my name for my order I just hoped for the best. At the rate of sending a waitress who also had no idea who I was, it was just a stressful moment as she couldn't find me and went back and forth to every table. Like I said food was good, and when I went to check out she gave me my total. Yet after already charging my card she advised she added the gratuity.
