Once there we were charged $10 for them. when we mentioned the ad we were told "oh it's not every Thursday" And the glasses were barely 1/2 full. Before 8pm they started clearing up all the tables around us and moving our stuff. we asked what time they closed and were told 9, then a little bit later came back and said "actually, we're closing at 8:30 today" and basically kicked out the few of us that were left. The bartender, Amy, we actually sang "Broken" by Seether & Amy Lee together at karaoke here a couple weeks ago, pours with care. You can feel when someone takes pride in the small things, a clean pour, a quick smile, a read on the room. She has that. The crowd here tonight is relaxed. Mixed ages, no pressure, no edge. Just people unwinding from the week. It is a place where you can sit with a beer, breathe for a minute, and not feel like the world is tugging at you.
