Usually one of my favorite places to go to celebrate my birthday. I have been for the last 6 yrs. Love the vibe and staff is usually super friendly. Last night had the most disgusting experience ever. Not only was the spot I called ahead of time to reserve given to a different party. The fact that there was no " heads up" was disappointing. When expressing our disappointment, we were accused of having attitude. There's a difference when you're making a complaint and having an attitude.. there was no foul language or name-calling just expressing our disappointment to one of the security staff. He was the one with the attitude in my opinion. That's not even the worst part. The worst part was when one of my guests went to go pay. ( she had never been there before and kind of just walked in. She didn't know, but she went to go pay.) she overheard the security staff mocking us and talking poorly of us. That is so disgusting and unprofessional. The young man that came and spoke to us regarding the situation was polite. He seemed to be slightly understanding. Atthis point I just wanted to take my party and leave. I don't think I've ever been disregarded in such a manner at an establishment. However, we decided to stay and make the best of it. Thanks to my amazing friends and family. I actually did have a good time. Your reservation process needs some working on and some staff members need to understand what customer service is. First of all, if I can give a 0 star, I would second of all tonight, me and my wife paid 12 bucks each to get in. We walked straight to go, get a drink. Asked for a enchilada, the guy asked, what kind of beer we told him madello told him we didn't want it hot, he made it. He got pissed off because last person didn't replace the bottle of mix for the enchilada. It was pretty much empty. I can see his attitude start to gain then. When he brought the drinks with a straw after mixing them to us. Insane, 30 bucks, I said we want lime. Normally they squeeze a bunch of lime in there. They're really good. He said, I did put lime, you want more. I said, I've watched you make the drinks. You didn't put any lime. He brought 4 pieces of lime, and I said, God, 30 bucks. You gotta squeeze your own lime in your drink. He said, how about you get the fuck out of here? How about that for customer service?Stupid security took their side and said, we gotta go with what he says. I requested a refund, but head of security. Use to love going to Crocodiles. Checked the website to see the cover charge rate, different rates for different times were listed. Arrived whe it should have been a $5 cover only to be told it was $20 because it was a special event. The special event I guess was the birthday parade? I'm not sure but an additional $15 for that seemed outrageous. We had reserved tables, our server was rarely there to get drinks, I cleared our tables sever times. When we needed drinks, we just went to the ar only to be told that we had to order from our server. Problem was the server was not checking on us. The music has changed quite a bit with a few sings that were played several times. I know things change especially with new ownership, I highly doubt I'd ever go back. The security guards were very disrespectful. I understand that there is a dress code. The security picks and chooses who they let in. I took photos showing other individuals inside wearing hoodies with plaid and plaid shirts as well. This felt inconsistent and unfair. The way the situation was handled made us feel targeted for being Hispanic and disrespected. Because of this experience, I will not be returning . The other guys that were let in were caucasian as the security guards were. My friend and I went to check out this place. She remembered that Thursday nights was salsa night. But apparently not anymore. It was pretty dead. The DJ did play a variety of music from Mana to La boda del huitlacoche. There was also a lady celebrating her 50th birthday and had a very fun group of people with her. Seemed to be enjoying themselves. Plenty of tables. Bathrooms a bit outdated but from what I heard the place has been on business for close to 50 years. What was a shock to me was when I ordered some beers and the waitress brought them all to me opened. Who does this?!? So if I head to the dance floor or the restroom I can't come back to closed and untampered beer bottles?!? Uncool and hence only two starts. Come on ppl. Common sense. We love the theme nights and spending our special dates here and the staff always goes above and beyond to make them even more special the drinks are always perfection April is awesome and they have just enough of a menu for drinking love the DJ's and we love our waitress Candice She runs her butt off to make sure we never have an empty glass and the security definitely makes us feel secure ... We love coming here. It's a chill fun time and the variety of music played is great. There is a strict dress code for men especially when it comes to plaid, so don't think you'll get in with it. Went out for new years tonight with some friends and got the worst customer service ever from the owner of crocodiles nightclub in Modesto California! I complained about waitress never bringing our drinks after hours of waiting. Food we paid for was nasty and very cold! Requested to speak with owner and he came out just to argue with me and threw me out of his club for telling him about my experience and telling him customer service was bad! He said he checked the cameras! Really??? I am so disgusted with this whole experience especially it being a brand new year! That is definitely not how you start a new year! A few pro's and con's.. 1. Get your tickets online through eventbrite not sure if you can buy at the place but that might be less expensive if you are nearby 2. When we arrived our table was switched so we had to show our tickets to get the table we paid for #89 it was near the stage and artists BUT they never gave us a lanyard like everyone else that said VIP. 3. Also there is no security or anyone managing that area SO basically everyone who wanted to get near the artist or the stage could crowd your table and stand in front of you. I paid lots of money just to have people who paid the basic cover charge just stand around me. We asked security which was maybe one or 2 guys and they tried but they mainly kept the standing room only VIP in order not our area by the artist entrance! I should of paid half the price for my seat for the inconvenience of sharing it with anyone wanting to get items signed or photos that was very rude and no crowd control. 4. The poor waitress cant even get to our area without fighting the crowd. 5. The DJ played music that was not even the music that the crowd was there for. Hire DJ's to fit the artist that are there that only makes sense we would of stayed longer and drank more if the DJ after played good music like the music we were there for. 6. Parking is easy and right in front, they do charge $20 IF you want closer spot, not sure they can do that but its available LOL 7. The drinks were good and average price, waitresses were nice and helpful. 8. Dance floor is big enough and that was fun while it lasted.... read more

This night club is great! Always have a great time when I come here. It is for the older crowd, BUT I have never seen a fight it's huge the drinks are good. The dj has getten better with music selection they actually had some songs from now but they litteraly play everything you can go out and dance how ever you want your not packed like sardines. Showed up with my husband who is Mexican. He was wearing a Dixxon shirt with a hat and I was wearing a hoodie. The bouncer said, "I was just told you can't wear plaid and you can't wear a hat." No problem...take off the hat & wear my hoodie. Then, the bouncer said, "Well, you can't wear hoodies either." I said, "I'm wearing a hoodie and you never said to can't wear hoodies." He said, "This is my management. They told me while you were walking up." Then, another guy walks up with a plaid shirt on and I said, "Sorry, he said no plaid so you can't go in." The bouncer lets him in. I said, "You said no plaid!" We had friends in there who had asked us to come so I told my husband to call his friend. My husband is a veteran who served for 23 years and his friends inside were part of the veteran association he was in. His friend comes out (older white gentleman) wearing a plaid shirt. We said, "He's wearing plaid!" and another bouncer said, "That's checkered." Not to mention, the guy they let in wearing plaid behind us was white. I told them they were being racist and they said we were "pulling the racist card." It makes no sense that my husband who is clearly Mexican is not let in with a Dixxon on when 3 white guys were let in with "checkered" shirts. NEVER AGAIN. Well I just found out that on May 25th when A large group of us were going there, it's going to suck. Three hours of line dancing?? WHAT?? Then 2 hours of Karaoke, this is ridiculous. This place used to be a lot of fun , security was always cool no issues . The newer staff security are 100% looking to start problems with customers , last night we had a spot reserved for my mom's bday & everything was going ok until about 10pm , my uncle was watching the boxing fights standing near the railing next to the pool tables , completely out of the way of everybody ! However some ladies said they couldn't see the fights so security asked my uncle to move over a bit & he did , at some point it wasn't good enough for them & my uncle told them he moved over like they asked , I guess security didnt like that he had an opinion , few seconds later there was about 3 security guards surrounding my uncle & one of them though it was necessary to put his hands on my uncle & toss him out , mind you my uncle is a 62 yr old man who wasn't even drinking . Quick Disclaimer- My friends and I weren't admitted I went here expecting a cool low-key experience but it was very loud inside, not playing the sort of music I was expecting (it was regular club music, sounded fun but not what I was looking for. Also they're pretty strict about their dress code so make sure you're adhering before going.
