Vine House Benedict with smoked salmon

Matt hit it outta the park once again ... the catch of the day was salmon, so delicious on a bed of risotto and edemame.

Had reservations on Halloween night. Had a great date night here! The food is amazing the service is wonderful and I was compliment on my sort of costume. The host so sweet had on a beautiful western attire. Absolutely loved it and will definitely come back!

Daily Special: Lamb

We ordered the French dip and the lamb. The lamb was incredibly tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly, though it was a little rich, so it was nice being able to switch back and forth with the French dip. The French dip was good and enjoyable, just not quite my personal favorite. Service was amazing and really stood out. Overall, a solid meal and great experience!

Mini chorizo mac n cheese

Decided to start my evening at The Vine House for their "Social Hour"... (who doesn't love a happy hour?!) I've had this place bookmarked for the longest, so it was about time! It's really cute inside from the pretty chandeliers to the vines draped down from trellis heading toward the back. I had a glass of the Lava Cap Barbera, olives marinees and a mini chorizo mac. The French onion soup also sounded really good, but since this isn't my only stop for the evening, I asked the waitress what she would choose between that and the mac. The olives had a nice savory flavor with a hint of citrus. For the girl that used to hate olives, there wasn't a single one remaining in the bowl. The level of cheesiness AND crunch achieved on the mini mac was perfection. The cheese layer toasted across the top was my favorite bite... every bite! (Chorizo is also always a win!) The menu is seasonal, so though photos are posted, you can expect it to change. (Not sure how frequently, as this is my first time in!) My waitress was super friendly and welcoming, and I look forward to coming back!

Can't get enough of this place. Food is always great and the service is the best. Now that they are making cocktails it has everything I need.

The atmosphere is so cute inside. it's in a great location with easy parking. Our server, Jacquelin was amazing! She's top notch. And very willing and patient to find the right wine for you. food was great. Pics to follow. definitely will look forward to going back:)

When we first arrived, some ladies that were leaving stopped us. The more mature of the duo suggested the shrimp bordelaise... Deliciousness! Our server, (I'm assuming her name was Tessa because of our receipt but after the first drink, I forgot my own name) was very sweet! She suggested the Fig Brie Prosciutto Tartine. It was amazing! The dance of textures and flavors was something I think everyone should experience in life. We chose to sit outside. The weather was nice! There was a little speaker outside so we had music. She even gave us a little fan to fend off flies! 10/10. I definitely recommend. If you're going to sit inside, bring a sweater!

Love this spot. Always my fav local wine happy hour. Their bruschetta is amazing. The wait staff is always friendly. Always make you feel glad you came in. Haven't tried brunch but have done a lot of dinner dates and haven't been disappointed.

This is a cute little restaurant. Love the decor and it gives a low key romantic feel to it. It's small, but the menu has a bunch of flavorful items. Wish they had more drink selections, but they do have a bunch of wines to select from! The Mac and cheese was delicious. Very saucy and you can taste the truffle. It was good perfectly. We also got a little starter for the table, wasn't pictured here. It was the fig Brie prosciutto. It was okay since I'm not big on prosciutto. But the spread was delicious. The girls wanted to try it out so I said why not. We had a wonderful server who helped us out with the menu. She knew the menu and steered us the right way with that to order. This was a great restaurant, definitely not one that people know about, but I'm hoping they find out.

The interior of Cask & Barrel has an upscale type of vibe with a black slate style stone and some fun accent colors throughout. Everything is organized very well which makes it very easy to find the type of alcohol you seek. In my opinion, it is easier to find different types of alcohol here than the local competitors of similar size. There is a wine cellar with glass walls which make viewing from the floor pretty cool. There is an area in the back called "The Wine Bar" where the staff will begin offering wine tastings. You can sign up with your email to be notified of tasting dates. There is a beer grotto, which is a walk-in fridge so you can pick out a case of cold beer. Near the beer gratto are two large screen TV's playing different sports games. If you need ice, they have a very large freezer. There is a small open fridge that contains several different cheeses to pair with your wine. On your way out, you will find four registers at the front. If you like cigars to go with your liquor they have a small selection at the front counter. Pricing is on par with other local competitors. Not sure if it was due to my visit being during opening day, but there were plenty of employees working behind the register and on the floor. We were asked if we needed help when we walked around. Cask & Barrel is a really nice addition to the City of Ripon.

The inside is very classy chic with a Mexican twist . I went during the week so it was happy hour . Their happy hour is pretty sweet ! It's from Monday - Friday 4-6 pm, Dine-In Only . They offered $10 drinks and also $10 appetizers. I ended up getting their tacos de papa from their happy hour, which is two tacos, but they are very fulfilling. They're very delicious and I did not see them in the regular menu so if you go during happy hour, it's definitely a must try. I also ordered Jesse's favorite, which is a Chile that looks like a chille relleno, but it's not instead of the egg it has a cream sauce on top and inside it has ground beef . My dad ordered the fajitas which they came with a side of cilantro rice and beans and also all the fixings like guacamole and stuff. Let me tell you the fajitas meal was huge. You could definitely share it with somebody else. I have to say their portions are very generous. For drinks they have beers margaritas my mother had a Chavela, which is beer with lime. I'm not a big tequila fan, but they do have a full bar so I just changed the dirty linen drink for Gin instead of tequila and it was very delicious . The service everyone was really nice and attentive. Overall, we had a great dinner my family and I we had a lot of food and a lot of good laughs. I would definitely come back. I have to say I love their tacos de Papa and for them being on happy hour it's a win-win.

Looking at the exterior, we could only guess what was coming. Walking in just after opening gave us opportunity to marvel over the beautifully appointed interior without bothering yet to arrive lunch customers. After perusing the menu, which we had somewhat studied pre decision to dine here, our waiter Matteo filled in item by item our understanding of the many menu options. With his help and suggestions we four decided to share two "starters" - the whipped feta - half classic and half smoky. Both were delicious! We chose the 4 piece Bruschetta with a suggested cheese added. It too rang the delicious bell. We picked paninis for our main course: Flank steak, French dip and Prosciutto & Fig Jam. Each would be served with a side salad - either Spinach or Spring. We all chose Spinach. The sandwiches were full of the components as described. My wife's Prosciutto & Fig Jam had prosciutto from end to end countering a review to the contrary I had read. The other paninis were likewise filled. The Spinach side salads were loaded with walnuts and cranberries. The amount of feta was adequate. the total amount of salad was more than I expected. My wife ordered a dessert to go, and just reported to me that was superb. We had to forgo any wine with lunch as we had miles to drive home afterward. But I await the day we can spend the night in town and enjoy some selections of their impressive wine stock and not have to drive home. A Friday evening comes to mind. It must happen so we can try out more items of their well chosen fare. A couple of the pokes look scrumptious and a few more of the paninis await my gastric juices. We were pleasantly surprised by Damon bringing us a complimentary Chocolate Panini served with house made whipped zcream (who even serves that these days?) He said that we HAD to try his #1 selling item from the whole menu before we left. We tasted, and learned why it had reached that status. Good in appearance. Perfect in creation, Superb in taste. Kudos by the bucketful to Damon, Matteo, and the rest of the staff who helped this Birthday Bash be warm & fuzzy and highly enjoyed. If you haven't yet. I suggest you put Camp 4 on your high priority list and enjoy the experience as I'm sure you will. We sure did!

Our server did forget my matcha, but said it would be on the house and he kept his promise. I wasn't a big fan of it, but try it and see for yourself if you like it. However, I think he also forgot that we didn't order cucumbers in our appetizer, and we ended up being charged a buck.50 for it, but turns out it was delicious and worth it. She also accommodated my friend, who is very picky which is partially why the pepper and the honey is separated in our appetizer and why her sandwich that is unpictured has no tomatoes or mayo. He was very kind and understanding about it! I thoroughly enjoyed my Panini, and devoured the whole thing. I loved the lemon rosemary mayonnaise, and that you can actually taste the citrus. Wow! High key wished they had fries or tarot tots or something instead of bruschetta chips. Or at least pair the bruschetta chips with the panini with some sort of dip.
