They used to be a brewery but now serve other beers. I think they still have a couple of their own…read morebut I would consider it a typical brewery type of establishment. They have a small range of alcohol as well. Quite dark inside. Seems like it's gets a different vibe in the evening. They do have a bunch of dart boards on the side as well. The knocks on stars are for cleanliness. Counters were not clean and not were the bathrooms. My wife complained there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. Perhaps we hit an off day and they didn't clean up and restock from the night before.

So my star off are a few cons I don't know why they are called the bay boys because they don't seem like the people working here are from the bay or know about the bay life They play country music here and country music only My stars for them are based off the beer and the presentation, price, and the overall location/atmosphere The art work brings fun and I would love to bring a huge crowd here but the music would probably drive us away They play sports and the news on the TVs around and a few games are open for play We enjoyed the air hockey and darts I would like to suggest their beer and hanging out for a little bit here would be great I may visit again soon but next year soon if anything

Had such a great experience at Ripon Tap House! I met up with my family here and we honestly had…read morethe best time. The atmosphere was super welcoming and laid-back, which made it really easy for all of us to just relax, talk, and enjoy being together.Since it's a tap house, we went for the beer and they had a really good selection to choose from. There was something for everyone, and it made it fun trying different options and finding favorites. The staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which I really appreciated. Our waiter was Shayla she was so friendly and attentive. She made sure we were taken care of and added to the overall good experience. What stood out most was just how comfortable and enjoyable it felt. It's the kind of place you can go with family, laugh, and make good memories. I'll definitely be coming back again.

Lots of spots for instagrammable pictures. Service was nice and quick. Only one server and she was super friendly. I ordered the fish and chips- opted for the garlic fries. I was eager to try it after seeing pictures of it on IG. However I was left a bit disappointed. I got two pieces of fish that weren't very big. It was quite salty even with the lemon wedges. The garlic fries were decent, crispy but very greasy after taste. My best friend got the chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries. She was even more disappointed. She said the sandwich was too dry and the fries were soggy. I'm not sure if I'd give this place a try again.

The interior of Cask & Barrel has an upscale type of vibe with a black slate style stone and some fun accent colors throughout. Everything is organized very well which makes it very easy to find the type of alcohol you seek. In my opinion, it is easier to find different types of alcohol here than the local competitors of similar size. There is a wine cellar with glass walls which make viewing from the floor pretty cool. There is an area in the back called "The Wine Bar" where the staff will begin offering wine tastings. You can sign up with your email to be notified of tasting dates. There is a beer grotto, which is a walk-in fridge so you can pick out a case of cold beer. Near the beer gratto are two large screen TV's playing different sports games. If you need ice, they have a very large freezer. There is a small open fridge that contains several different cheeses to pair with your wine. On your way out, you will find four registers at the front. If you like cigars to go with your liquor they have a small selection at the front counter. Pricing is on par with other local competitors. Not sure if it was due to my visit being during opening day, but there were plenty of employees working behind the register and on the floor. We were asked if we needed help when we walked around. Cask & Barrel is a really nice addition to the City of Ripon.

I did not expect any actual follow up but tonight I got a call from Rachel (may have been Rebecca? I'm sorry, I'm terrible with names!) who told me they had one of the beers in stock. Very rare to get good service and follow up now-a-days. I'll keep coming back.

Music was good, maybe a tad loud for the vibe and lighting was too bright for the music. Tone down the lights and bring the sound down a bit might change the crowds mind to loosen up. Then when a dance area starts is when the music can go up. The drinks were ok but they seemed pretty out of everything I was looking for like the dry ice for their most expensive drink on the menu and cherries!! The hit drink I noticed looked spicy and Modelo beers. I asked for an IPA which they only had on tap and was Sierra Nevada. They priced drinks differently so that's kinda more my reason of my lack of stars. I asked for a commonly known drink I used to get back in my fun years...Tokyo tea which is pretty much a Long Island or AMF but with Midori instead. I was priced $10 which is reasonable but the switched shift bartender for the night priced my friend who got the same drink $11. The FB post kind of seems misleading but I can't judge it based on their post. The Friday evening for April 11 had a girl DJ in the background and a name that either a guy or girl would have but it really made me think a girl DJ was gonna be there but I was wrong lol Other people did socialize with us which was nice and I hope they get a lot more attention for the summer coming up. The door guy did say Saturday night and the Sunday day club does get a bit more traffic so I'll make it out to those days in the near future. I've been to this location when it was a different owner/name and the vibe seems the same. I've been bringing friends here and now with the new name I'll still try to bring friends in because music is life and they do bring that in.

Absolutely horrible!…read more How do you charge my card for an extra $10 tip? When I tipped in cash...smh this is not how you do business at all! Talk about SCAM!
