Music was on and drinks were affordable. We hung out for a bit but when a guy started talking to us and staying around we left after our cigarette break The bartender was pregnant and that just made me think about when I was also the pregnant bartender at the bar, fun times. I hope they can bring music like a DJ (instead of the music box customers have to pay for) on Saturday nights bring a little more fun to a weekend evening I would definitely like to come by again

Firing your BEST bartender was certainly a choice, and apparently customer loyalty wasn't part of the decision-making process. The bartender you let go wasn't just pouring drinks. They were the personality, energy, and reason many of us kept coming back. They provided great service, made excellent drinks, remembered the regulars, and actually made people want to spend their money there--the very things most bars would consider valuable. But why keep an exceptional bartender who brings in loyal customers when you can fire them and discover exactly how many customers were loyal to THEM rather than the building? Bold business strategy. The drinks can be made anywhere. The atmosphere can be found somewhere else. And now, so can we. Congratulations, management--you didn't just lose your best bartender. You managed to fire some of your customers at the same time. Wherever they bartend next, THAT will be our new favorite bar.

After the saddle rack closed, you've noticed many from bay commuting out here to get closer feel what saddle rack gave. I have nothing but respect for what this bar stood for during the pandemic.
