I really like orders with brisket here, you get an actual chunk of meat. I always enjoy pho with beef tendon and in this area they can be a little skimpy on portion size if you order it. We love the seafood pho! It has a delicious broth, plenty of seafood including shrimp and calamari, and fresh vegetables (basil, lime, bean sprouts, jalapeño) to add to your own taste. I tried the banh mi sandwich this time. The bread was soft and warm inside with a slightly crunchy crust (just right), tender pork, fresh vegetables and a pate that added moistness to bread (but not goopy). Update: do not here. Staff was passive aggressiveness about my review when I had to trash pho I paid for after finding a hair in my noodles. I would've preferred a refund but the restaurant only offered to make another bowl. It is gross enough when you pull out a thin black short hair from your pho noodles knowing there's no way it's mine because 1) the pho was not removed from to go packaging 2) I have thick long black hair but to be asked to show it like I'd lie about it is stupid. You're in the wrong for not being up to health code and having employees wear hair nets. There was hair in my pho and they only give a few slices of flank steak and tripe in their "special" pho-no meatballs no tendon either. read more

We were in San Diego for a soccer tournament. After burgers and pizzas for a few dinners, I suggested to my husband that I had a craving for phở after seeing Phở House from the freeway. He and I decided to head there for dinner. We ordered the shrimp and pork spring rolls. They were delicious. The peanut sauce was yummy, too! For our main course, we ordered the phở with the filet mignon meat slices. Being Vietnamese, I have had my share of phở and this bowl of phở was in the top 5! The portion size was great and I would have slurped up all the broth if I hadn't been so full. The wait staff was super friendly and helpful. The restaurant itself was clean and organized. Several patrons came in for take-out and there were only a few tables open. They obviously have regulars come in often. We will definitely come back to eat here the next time we are in San Diego. The Holy Grail find of Pho Spots! Accidentally stumbled upon this place while in Oceanside. The Spring rolls were fresh and delicious. The house pho was really good meat quality felt up there and the broth was packed full of flavors! The show stopper was this pho served in a hot rock! It came with oxtails and spare ribs! I was jealous my wife ordered it and I didn't (of course I stole a few bites)! I would definitely recommend that one to anyone. read more

for years, ever since we discovered Pho House, we had to stop and enjoy its pho. Few years back when they introduced the chicken wings as appetizer, that too became our go to appetizer. Today it's no different, after 750 miles of driving, we timed it so that we were there for a long anticipated dinner. Broth is still the best, as usual. chicken wings tasted good, as usual. However, they are now 3 wings cut into halves and call it 6 pieces. Worse of all the House Pho had two toothpick thin tripes, one tendon and few pieces of beef meat. Totally out of character. i use to be frequent regular here until the service kept declining and i can't justify giving my money to them anymore. food is 4/5 service 2/5 my latest visit left me with a bitter taste. the asian lady in her mid 40s with glasses seems to not care about her damn job. I brought 4 people to try pho for the first time and now i regret it. from taking our orders without a tablet or pen and messing up 3 of our orders to never checking up on us. It felt like she didn't want us to be there. At the very end, she refused to close our checks for 16-20 min and would do random things like cleaning other tables while walking slowly in the back with direct eye contact, closing other people's tab, and doing anything else but close our damn tabs. Beat cha gio ever! Super tasty, meaty and crunchy. Wrapped in lettuce with mint, dipped in the nuoc mam, a real treat :-) me and my wife often go there just to get that as a snack. The beef pho is really good as well. The broth is really flavorful in its own. Their banh mi sandwiches are really good as well. The bread is light and eats well, with a good soft crust easy to bite. This is our go-to pho place on the north side of O'side. We've visited or ordered food at least 5x. It's consistently good with fresh ingredients. It is clean and the staff is friendly and attentive. It seems to be family owned/run. We've tried the pho in various flavors, bun bowls, broken rice dishes, and of course the Vietnamese crispy rolls. With the exception of getting too little accoutrements to wrap the crispy rolls, it ranks right up with the best in the area. I've only had better at Pho Trang on convoy. Docking a star for receiving the wrong order twice via delivery. They need a better system for their delivery quality controls. All in all, a solid choice for Vietnamese in the North County area. read more

A few of our favorites include pho ga (chicken), oxtail pho, ga goi (cabbage and aromatic herb salad with chicken), Vietnamese egg rolls, and a side of vinegar onions. Visited this place while in the area. Went in the evening and it was kinda hard to find because the lights for their sign outside the building was not lit up. Walked in and it was pretty busy. Despite it being busy we were seated in a few mins. Got lucky a couple tables were done. We ordered the grilled beef, vegetable noodle soup and the Hue Spicy Noodle Soup. The grilled beef and soup were pretty tasty. The broth in the soup was perfectly hot. We were kinda disappointed with the Hue Spicy Noodle Soup though. First of all it's NOT spicy and the noodles in it were like spaghetti noodles. Service was not bad for it being busy. Food came out in a timely matter. Lots of parking. Reasonable prices. read more

This is our fave pho spot to eat and it's conveniently down the street from my complex. The service is always good. I ordered my usual shrimp pho regular size and the egg rolls. The shrimp was cooked perfectly not over cooked and soft. The spice added to my broth was perfect too. Our fave appetizer from here is the egg rolls which go perfectly with the fish sauce they serve with it. My Thai tea boba was perfect but the one thing I can say about their Thai tea is that there's too much ice and not so much drink. We drank the boba in 5 sips.
