    Chicken pho with vegetables
    Stephanie T.

The last time I came here my friend got the veggie pho. I looked at it and thought how much better it would be with chicken. So this time I got the veggie pho but with chicken broth and chicken instead of tofu. It was amazzzzzing! Oooh so good! It's like the regular pho that I love but with a bunch of delisciousness added to it. It's not the same boring, but delicious, pho anymore. The waitress also said how you can mix and match and get any brother with any protein added to it. This will definitely be my new go to for this place. The A4 appetizer, the pork spring rolls, is always my go to with this place as well

I love pho Vista!!!! They have veggie options, and I usually get the veggie egg rolls and veggie bun. Service is friendly and restaurant is clean!

Vegetarian pho with egg noodles and silken tofu

Pho Vista HEALED ME. I had the worst food-borne illness of my entire life, I could not eat solid food for over a week, and a friend swears by this place, she recommended I at least try it. I had the vegetarian broth with silken tofu and egg noodles for the protein, and I was very careful with the fresh herbs and vegetables that came with the meal. This pho genuinely revived me, it brought me back from the brink, it made me feel 1000x better and I am a BELIEVER. I wanted to cry and fall at their feet but I was in my house because I was too weak to go anywhere (thank you, delivery). The massive improvement I saw after two big bowls of pho from Pho Vista was more than I thought possible. Your delicious, gentle vegetarian tofu pho saved me! Fan for life.

    Beef Pho with Brisket

Food was really good; we ordered the Beef Pho with Brisket, you can add up to three different meats to the beef pho. Broth was very flavorful, added some chili oil and jalapeños for some spice and it was great. Service was quick and we didn't have to wait too long for our order. Ambiance was very basic and plain, not really for aesthetics it wasn't necessarily nice. Bright lights and there are tables and booths as well. No bowl sizes to choose from but it was basically small for $14.95, tipping starts at 15%, and for five bowls of beef pho the total (including tip and tax) came out to $80.92. Overall, was a good spot to try but we probably wouldn't come back as it's like every other common pho place. Also offers delivery through DoorDash, Caviar, UberEats, and Postmates if that's more convenient for you!

We visited on Tuesday at 5:20pm and they had a few tables already seated but there was no wait, which was awesome because we are very hungry! Haha I ordered pho beef soup with brisket and we'll done steak and my boyfriend ordered pho beef soup with filet mignon and brisket. The service was very quick and the lady taking our order and delivering our food was so sweet and attentive! We usually go to another pho restaurant, but on Tuesdays they are closed (we forgot). Finding this place was a happy accident! And it just so happens to be closer to our home. I will definitely be coming back if not to sit and dine, then to take some food to-go! Try it out! I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

4/5 tasty hot broth, firm noodles, and lots of meat in combo Pho. 3.5/5 average service and ambiance

    Nem nuong spring rolls
    Karen T.

I came here about 30 min before closing and definitely was rushed to finish my meal and leave before 9. They told us that they close right at 9 as I was sitting down, then took our order immediately. The food came out fast, but they also brought the check with the food. The whole time we ate, they were watching us eat waiting for us to leave. I don't blame them for wanting to leave on time, but it was definitely a pressurized situation. We ended up leaving at 9:02- I've never ate so fast in my life. We got the pho tai chin and the nem nuong rolls. The pho wasn't bad, but the nem nuong rolls were not good. They felt like something I could make easily at home, and the nem nuong was weird. To be fair, I'm a bit of a Vietnamese food snob, but with the disappointing rolls plus the poor service, I wouldn't return.

No flavor in any dishes. The soup had tasteless broth and the meats were poor quality (rubbery meatballs). Won't go back.

They are located just off of Santa Fe Ave. in a small shopping strip. The interior is very simple, with very little decor. It is also very small and only allows for about 25 customers seating. Although there is booth seating for groups of four, this place is best for solo or date-dining. The service here is fast, friendly and very welcoming. This is because it is owned by a husband, wife and son; so there is a very personal touch when it comes to customer service. I've come here twice and so far I really love the no. 46 pork vermicelli noodles, their egg rolls, spring rolls, and their combination phô soup. It is important to note that there is pork in their eggrolls and I love how crispy they are. All of the meats in my meals were delicious! Their menu is priced very affordably with the majority of the items costing under $15. They appear to be very popular for delivery service services, such as DoorDash and Uber eats. There were also many people who did pick-up. Although I could wish for more ambience inside with some music, I can appreciate that there's ample parking in their shared lot and they have a clean bathroom. If you happen to be in Vista and want to support a small, family-owned business that serves delicious Vietnamese cuisine, I highly recommend Tasty Phô.

Egg rolls were good. Restroom was somewhat clean and because it's next to the kitchen I can see the other staff just sitting and texting. Makes me wonder if the broth was even fresh. I don't understand the reviews and maybe they've never tried authentic, tasty and fresh Pho? Or the reviews are just about their drinks?

Fish sauce was enough to pour over everything, rice, salad, and pork. I devoured it and would definitely order again. My husband ate the pho. He said the brisket was alright by itself. He's had better. Adding hoisin sauce helps. The dish only included two packets of hoisin. (I keep a bottle on hand because I normally like hoisin with almost every bite whenever I eat pho. Restaurants never give enough.) Be sure to ask for extra! The noodles came in a bowl which is convenient. Other establishments may have the noodles in a Chinese take out box and you supply your own bowl. Overall, he was happy with his meal. The restaurant only had one table with guests. Two more tables were taken by the time I left. I don't know if I've ever seen this place packed. The decor is the same from the previous business that occupied that spot. The restaurant is fairly quiet with the exception of a movie playing on tv. I don't know the movie. Didn't pay much attention to it until I heard cussing. A lot of it. Tense scenes. The lady servicing the front paid no attention to it. Probably background noise to her. I wasn't a fan. Not exactly family friendly and poor taste imo. I went here because my usual spot is closed on Tuesdays. Overall, it was a decent experience.

And said welcome for two? have that table right there! I was shocked, immediately feeling more than welcome. So now my hopes were high. Ordered the pork fried rice, house pho, and lotus stem salad with shrimp. Where to begin my goodness, I'm salivating writing this review only one day later. Let's start with the salad, never would I order this in my life but my girl knows her Asian cuisine very well, it was the first thing she picked. And my god, freaking unbelievable every bite I had was so so tasty! That dressing is incredible along with the onions, I don't know what they do to them but man oh man they were delightful. Now the pork fried rice, what a hit! The pork is sliced so unbelievably thin and with so much flavor too, and the fried rice was all very good. Definitely not the best fried rice I've had but it was still quite tasty, I feel it was just slightly on the dry side for a fried rice. But flavor was very tasty and some bites were not dry. And the pho!! Kabang, another hit!!! The broth, noodles, everything. And they serve it with beans sprouts and jalapeno which is a must add!! The crunchiness from the bean sprouts ties the whole bowl together! Will I be back is not even a question one should ask. Boy am I glad to have tried this place!!! 9.5/10 Lost .5 points because of the fried rice. What a beautiful spot!!! Apologies for no pictures I tend to forget when on a date.

Ordered two- one for now and one for later. I called before leaving and asked if they could make a vegan banh mi and was told yes, that it wasn't a problem. I specifically asked if there was anything in the sandwich that would make it not vegan- the employee said no that if I asked for vegan than it would be made vegan. So no pate and no mayo? Employee confirmed they don't use mayo and omit the pate for vegan. Great! So I ordered two, went to pick up and paid. After getting back to work and starting to eat my sandwich, I notice that there is a creamy taste. I called the restaurant and explained that they must have put mayo in my sandwich. The employee said there is no mayo in their banh mi, so I asked what the white cream was and he said it was butter. I said I couldn't have butter and butter wasn't vegan. He then said it was vegan butter and I asked three times to be sure if I was understanding him correctly. He then said he would go check the ingredients. He read them off to me on the phone and once I heard MILK, it was game over. I told him I can't have milk and milk Isn't vegan. Then a long awkward pause and he said, "it's not?" And I sad, no, it's vegetarian but definitely not vegan. He apologized and said he didn't know. *sigh* He offered to remake them without butter so then I had to drive back and waste more time and gas. So... I drove back. The sandwiches were remade but, I'm glad I do not actually have an allergy. As I was leaving, he told me that next time I ordered to tell them no milk. That bothered me a little bit because unfortunately this establishment does not know the difference between vegan and vegetarian. To be honest, I don't know if I will return. Now I'm questioning if what I ordered the last time I was here was vegan at all. :( If you're vegan and ordering here, I don't know that I'd trust they don't use any animal products in their ingredients. I feel like you would have to ask for a list of ingredients to be sure you're not surprised with anything.
