    Combination pho

Came in for a bowl of pho, and a small dish for my toddler. The food is fairly priced and tasty but be prepared for very slow service and a server who is more preoccupied with being on her phone than helping you. Also, because there are few patrons they have no AC on which leads to an uncomfortable meal, with flies buzzing around. On a lighter not, you get to occasionally enjoy hearing one of them hitting the bug zapper.

Stopped by Pho 4 Queen for lunch and really enjoyed everything we ordered. We had the rare steak pho, rare steak & tendon pho, and a bowl of rice porridge -- all comforting, well-prepared, and satisfying. The pho broth was clean, aromatic, and full of flavor without being overly greasy. The rare steak was tender, and the tendon was soft and gelatinous, soaking up the broth perfectly. You can tell the broth is well-crafted, which makes a big difference. The rice porridge was warm, smooth, and comforting -- a nice change of pace and great if you're in the mood for something lighter but still flavorful. Service was quick, portions were generous, and everything came out hot. Solid spot for classic Vietnamese comfort food. I'd definitely come back.

I ordered take out. I have been craving chao ga (chicken rice porridge) but I am too lazy to make it even though it's pretty easy. I was looking online and saw this place has it. So I called for pick up. IT IS DELICIOUS. I cannot believe I didn't know about this place. I want to come back to try their other dishes. I love a Vietnamese restaurant that serves other dishes and not just pho or banh mi. Because we eat other things. Lol

My husband and I got in 30 minutes before close but they were willing to seat us which I am very grateful about. The prices were unbeatable with our entire meal (large pho, spring rolls and pork chop rice plate) costing only $33 before tip! The broth was flavorful and the noodles filled me up. I will say that I had a piece of overly chewy tendon but overall I had no complaints as there was a generous portion of meat. The place was very casual - much like hole in the wall feel but if you're looking for a delicious and affordable pho or rice plate, you're definitely in the right place!

Very solid pho spot in San Marcos! Super great pricing and EXTREMELY generous portions of meat in the pho!! The noodles are thicker than you normally come across, service was straightforward and the atmosphere friendly. I will definitely come back next time I am looking for a hearty meal. A very pleasant surprise in an unassuming parking lot!!

Pho 4 Queen is a great spot for Vietnamese food in San Marcos. I enjoyed the Rare Steak Pho; it was a comforting and flavorful meal.

    Banh Xeo

I've only had the banh xeo and it was delicious. Crispy on the edges with lots of fresh greens. Will definitely go back.

I liked their catering food. They were really nice too. But, the cost was too high, 70 something per person.

This was the best bowl of pho I've ever had. As someone who in a new city everyday I've had a lot of pho bowls across California. The broth was so rich and full of flavor. Gunna make the drive again. Quick service, open floor seating. Everything you want in a pho spot.

The food was delicious! The lady was super sweet too. I ordered #13 with extra chili oil. Yum!

To say I love Pho is to under state it. But it's definitely difficult to find a really good place with yummy broth. After trying several places, it was time to try this place. And now I'm done looking as this is that place I will be coming from now on to get my pho fix. I ordered over the phone. When I got there, the food was being packed. So I paid and waited for few minutes. It was perfectly packed with hots and colds. I ordered #4 cooked beef pho and my husband had the pho without meat with chicken broth. Everything was so aromatic that we couldn't wait to get home. But once we put it all together at home,it was perfection! I rarely can finish a meal and I gobbled it down. Yep, it was that good! Both my husband and I loved it and will definitely be ordering from here or coming to eat here from now on.

Ban Xeo. Crispy and delicious. The home Made fish sauce was also really nice.

For small bites she said the Pork Gyoza is the most popular appetizer so I had to try it. The pan fried edges made for a wonderful texture as well as the pork filling. Definitely a great way to start the meal. For the my main entree she recommend I try the BST signature ramen that features a Sio Tonkotsu Base with Black Umami Garlic Oil. For a first timer at Ramen Mik this was an excellent choice with its rich, creamy broth surrounded by fresh garlic, stir fried vegetables, green onion and ginger. The noodles were fresh and had an excellent bite to them. It was a very tasty bowl of ramen and I recommend trying the BST. Overall great first time experience at Ramen Mik as service was great, plenty of seating and parking making it very accessible. Can't wait to come back and try their other dishes such as Japanese curry, beef bowls and tonkatsu.

From their Soups, to the Sandwiches and Salads, the Pizzas, Flatbreads, and the Bakery items, there is something special here for you. My favorites are way too many to list, but I especially do love the Tomato Bisque Soup in a Sourdough Bread Bowl. It comes with croutons and shaved cheese for the top. Sometimes I want soup, but don't feel like making all the elements from scratch. The Grilled Brie, Havarti with Apples & Fig Jam Sandwich is perfectly toasted and tart, as well as sweet. The sandwich has a crusty outer coating of Parmesan. Very savory. I love all their sandwiches, both hot and cold. All their sandwiches come with a little Side Salad (with Balsamic Vinaigrette) or a bag of Kettle Chips. You can't go wrong here. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this restaurant takes pride not only in the food but also in the atmosphere. The space is bright, clean, and well-organized, with a calm energy that makes dining here both relaxing and enjoyable. The menu offers an incredible variety--pho, rice dishes, noodles, sandwiches, boba drinks, and more--so it's easy to find something that suits your taste. Each dish feels thoughtfully prepared, with fresh ingredients and balanced flavors that stand out. A must-try appetizer is the shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce. They arrive fresh and neatly wrapped, with crisp vegetables, perfectly cooked shrimp, and that creamy, nutty peanut sauce that ties everything together. Light yet satisfying, they're a great way to start your meal. Another standout is the pork sandwich (Bánh Mì), which feels like a labor of love. The baguette is toasted just right--crispy on the outside and soft on the inside--filled with tender, flavorful pork that's marinated to perfection. Add in the pickled carrots, cucumber, jalapeños, and sprigs of cilantro, and you get an amazing balance of savory, sweet, and tangy flavors. Each bite is a perfect mix of texture and taste, making it one of the best Bánh Mì sandwiches you'll find in North County. Don't miss the fried rice, a fragrant and well-seasoned dish that's both comforting and rich. The only minor drawback is that the protein--such as chicken, shrimp, or beef--comes separately. Still, the quality makes it worthwhile. For drinks, the boba teas are superb--smooth, not overly sweet, and made with fresh tapioca pearls that have just the right chew. While parking can sometimes be tricky, Chef's Pho & Grill more than makes up for it with its excellent food, friendly service, and welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're craving a quick lunch, a cozy dinner, or a refreshing drink, this place is absolutely worth a visit.
