For my and my daughter's bday Mike brought us his made from scratch flan. Delicious!!!! Mike is so welcoming and treats us like family. We so appreciate this family and they are so talented in making flan and shrimp fried rice and shrimp fried wontons and their pho is THE best pho we have ever tried!!!! Other restaurants pho does not compare, this place excels at making pho!!!!! Oh and we love their smoothies too. Kids get Oreo and mango and my favorite is avocado with boba. This was my first time here, and I was seriously impressed! This is the first pho restaurant I've been to where I wanted to order almost everything on the menu because there were so many unique and delicious-looking options. They have an incredible variety of dishes that you don't usually see at a typical pho restaurant. They also have a huge drink selection with so many choices. The restaurant itself is very spacious with plenty of seating. Everything looked fresh, and I can't wait to come back and try more items. Definitely one of my new favorite Vietnamese restaurants! I've been here more than a handful of times. Sometimes alone, with a couple of friends or with a group. This visit we were five. The restaurants ambiance is nice, and casual. The decor has red throughout which is my fave color, so that's a plus. They have a beautiful artwork piece on the wall that I always forget to ask if it's a living wall. The plants look real. The downfall is this place runs warm, not enough air flow for me. This evening was there after having early hot weather this March. The food was unfortunately just ok along with the Thai Iced Tea w/boba. The tea didn't seem strong enough and the boba were clumpy. My dish didn't look like the pic on the menu that I was hoping to get. Instead of the marinated looking meat, I got more of a saucy or soupy chicken dish. It was good but not what I was craving for. I do always like to get the fried buns. You can order it with pork slices, but I requested no meat. It comes with a fish dip sauce which is good together, but good without too. The Chicken Fried rice was ok. It was bland, almost no salt or real flavor. I added hot sauce and salt. It must have been an off night or maybe us coming in an hour and a half before they closed. The food is usually good. The service is a hit and miss. Tonight the service was good and friendly and just ok since we had two people catering to our table. I would return. Like I mentioned the food is usually delish, drinks too. Now that it's summer I think I would choose to sit away from the windows where the sun beams through. read more

We had the best time here! Service was great, everyone was super friendly and happy to help. The restaurant was quite large & very clean inside. Food came out super fast! The bone marrow was delicious, 10/10! Pho was good, we're from the 626 area so I'd say the flavor of broth was an 7.5-8 out of 10 compared to places in 626 area. I've been to Pho Ha Grill & Bar a few times, and my husband really likes the pho here. The soup broth is well-balanced and not too salty compared to other pho restaurants nearby. We usually order the rare beef and brisket pho, as well as the special pho. The portion size is just right ,not too large. The prices are reasonable and similar to other places in the area. One thing I especially appreciate is that when ordering delivery, they don't increase the delivery fee. The restaurant is spacious and clean, but the service can be a bit slow. The staff are generally friendly ,some are very sweet, while others can be a little less welcoming. We don't live nearby, but whenever we're in the area, we like to stop by. I was really impressed by the presentation of both, and the flavors were amazing. The banh khot was executed perfectly-- juicy, springy shrimp, crispy bánh, and fragrant herbs. Marrow was plentiful, roasted perfectly and thick full of marrow. Our com ga nướng was delicious with fried egg and dau hu ky. I recommend ordering 3-4 extra eggs they're so good lol. Came here last week for dinner with the family. We had a really disappointing experience here from start to finish. SERVICE: We were seated and then left completely unattended for at least 20 minutes before anyone came by. It took around 30 minutes just to get our appetizer, and the entrées took even longer. They even mixed up our order and served it to another table, and despite reminding them multiple times, they still forgot my nephew's meal. The whole service experience felt disorganized and inattentive. FOOD: Pork Rolls (Nem Nuong): Completely missed the mark. The meat tasted old, and the rolls lacked the signature crunch they're known for. It was basically just meat and lettuce. Egg Rolls: Not impressed. The flavor was bland and nothing stood out. Grilled Pork Rice Dish: The egg patty was extremely dense. The pork had good seasoning, but it was sliced so thin that it was dry. Banh Xeo: I was really hoping this would be good since not many places offer it, but it was a huge letdown. The pork tasted old and overall the dish just wasn't enjoyable. Awful experience. Oh, my gosh, I just found my go-to Vietnamese restaurant even though it's 25 minutes from home! I just finished my large Rare steak and Tripe pho. The rich broth was tasty without adding the hoisin or Sriracha! The portions were very generous! I kept finding more steak pieces and tripe as I got to the bottom. Moving up north from San Diego was a struggle to find great asian food, but this restaurant never fails to satisfy my cravings (: I come here frequently with my boyfriend when we're craving comfort food, oh and the employees are beyond kind all the time. I've been here multiple times, including today, and this place never disappoints. The food is always flavorful and delicious, and the service is even better. Most of the time I'm served by the same man, and he is always incredibly kind--unfortunately, I don't know his name, as I didn't feel comfortable asking. Today I ordered tea, which was a bit too strong for me. I asked if it could be changed, and he was so pleasant about it--he didn't question me at all and handled it graciously. At the end of my meal, I also asked if he could pack my food to go since it included soup and would have been messy for me to do myself, and he did so without any hesitation. Customer service has declined significantly compared to previous visits. We went to Pho Ha tonight and the male server who waited on us was unfriendly It took almost 20 minutes to get our cafe drinks and when we got them the presentation (compared to the menu) was disappointing from previous visits because they were in plastic cups with disposable straws. Cafe drinks are not as good as the one pictured from previous visits and the presentation is a huge disappointment. The chicken curry was watery with cheap cuts of chicken that were mostly bone, and not worth the price. Prices at Pho Ha are the same as previous visits but the service was very slow for not being busy and the food quality was not as good, with an aftertaste of 'shrinkflation'. So long, Pho Ha! The pho was flavorful, with a unique seasoning that I wasn't familiar with, but it was still really good.
