Was craving some BBQ pork and vermicelli. Found this place not too far from where we were. So we decided to call ahead and place the order. It took about 20 minutes for the food to be ready. The BBQ pork was good but the sauce was a bit salty for my taste. The lettuce, bean sprouts, and pickled carrots were fresh. They do put crushed peanuts in the dish so if you're allergic to peanuts, make sure you tell them ahead of time. read more

My very 1st visit to Pho Ha in Arcadia was with Mom on Sunday, 04/18/2021. Funny, my Mom and I weren't planning to eat at Pho Ha that day. We wanted to eat at Oto-Oto in Monrovia, but we didn't make reservations and there was a waitlist, hence, we diverted to Pho Ha instead. Actually, my Mom preferred Pho Ha over Oto-Oto because she's more inclined to Vietnamese foods rather than Japanese foods. We still ended up doing a take-out from Oto-Oto afterwards. Just a side note, I didn't even know there were other "Pho Ha" locations beside the ones on Indian Hill Blvd in Pomona and Foothill Blvd in Rancho Cucamonga. Glad they have expanded their business. My Mom ordered the Charbroiled Pork with rice (her favorite) and I went with the Bean Curd Shrimp Paste with vermicelli (my favorite). We also had their Egg Rolls appetizer + Tri Color dessert. All their dishes and desserts that we ate were delicious. Can't go wrong with Vietnamese foods! The staff and service were okay... one can't expect too much from a Vietnamese restaurant... one goes there mainly for the foods not necessarily for the staff and service. The overall ambience was pleasant. They also have an outside patio area for dining which is nice... I wish all restaurants have that option, but I understand that's not always possible. All in all, my Mom and I had a wonderful meal together. It was a very special day indeed because we had visited the Huntington Library for the first time together prior to lunch. Thanks Pho Ha for doing business in Arcadia! read more

One of the many Pho Ha's in SGV. Usually do not make it up this far to get pho since I am surrounded by the best spots already but it was on the way and home and open early. Big restaurant. They have a big connected patio for eating. Parking lot in this plaza is super tight and always packed. They charge $.75 for each to go entrée. Gotta hustle some how these days I guess. Ordered over the phone so I did not have to wait. Pho Tai Nam Gan, large - $10.45 - Good broth. Decent portion for the price. Bun Bo Hue, large - $10.45 - So so, not enough heat in my opinion. Meat was tender. Good portion. Goi - $7.95 - You get 4 shrimp spring rolls. Pretty basic but some were normal size and some were pretty small. Weird that they do not wrap them consistent. read more

I love this place. It's been my go to for pho since I moved to California. They are always polite, quick, delicious, and accurate. I usually get takeout, but whenever I pick up my order, it's always a clean and relaxing looking place to dine. 10/10. read more

Been to this place 4 different times, and it's been very consistent. I haven't tried anything other than the Pho w/ Chicken, but it's always been very tasty. It's not like other places that make a "house broth" and add the protein of your choice with no cohesive flavors...not "knock your socks off good" but definitely solid and worth checking out. There is always plenty os seating weather indoors or outside, and very family friendly. Service is also usually quick and always friendly so no need to order ahead... read more

Due to COVID, the service is slower than usual and the sitting area is a little scarce because the establishment is trying to conform to the CDC Social Distancing guidelines for LA County. We were seated fairly quickly close to another family that was already seated. My son and I just wanted a different scenery and wanted to explore Arcadia while it's seemingly quiet and not too busy (we know how Arcadia can get during the weekends with family brunches and get together). We ordered the following for our appetizer: Shrimp Spring Rolls Egg rolls Sausage Rolls For our entrees, we ordered the following pho dishes: Rare Steak Pho (Small) Meatballs Pho (Small) Both entrees came with fresh condiments of basil leaves, cilantros, bean sprouts, jalapeños and hoisin sauce mixed with sriracha. I asked for a side of chili oil paste because, who eats pho bland?!!! Right?! Overall, our experience was nice and the environment was inviting. We ended up ordering Jelly Dessert and Strawberry Smoothie. Tasty and refreshing for our Route 66 adventure. read more

We ordered 2 rare steak pho and one order of spring rolls. The spring rolls are decent, but the pho broth is very good. We've been here several times and their pho hit the spot. Service was quick and ambience is nice. The rare steak is not the softest but the amount is decent for the price. read more

After reading some of the reviews here, I kind of understand why it doesn't have the highest amount of stars. I recently went to this restaurant, as I had originally planned to go to the pizza place next door (Omar's Pizzeria is no longer in this plaza BTW). When we arrived, we were sat immediately and were handed menus without really being officially greeted - it was literally a silent moment between us the host, but we just followed her to the table and seemed to communicate through the silence. We took a look at the menu and within five minutes we were about ready to order. The server never came back to ask us what we wanted to eat though, which we found odd. We ended having to wave down a server to get our order in. As soon as placed our order, we were then given some water, and it was shortly followed by the drink we ordered. The food didn't take too long to arrive. Within five minutes we had our order of egg rolls arrive at our table. The egg rolls to our surprise were delicious! Whatever is in the sauce that they serve with the egg rolls is life! Not too long after, was our pho. I went for a chicken noodle pho, while my fiancee decided to go for a flank pho. Both were very good and just what we needed to have a happy and full stomach! It definitely took us sometime to get the check, and even to get it to the server so she can run our card, but I think that's the way this establishment works. They're on standby until you wave them down. read more

Pretty good pho that is very close by. I ordered the rare beef pho small size ($13.45) after tax and tip I paid over $17 which I thought it was pretty pricy. The rare beef was not that tender but the broth is decent. It was pretty empty on a Friday night around 7pm. read more

Nice service but that is where it stops, I didn't want to listen to Yelp because sometimes its wrong but I find the food here super mediocre. Maybe it was a bad day. But we tried several dishes. For Viet food in Cali, its just sad. I found the banh xeo soft. Meat in the chicken pho super not cut thinly typical of pho. The rolls had browned lettuce. I wouldn't go back for options in the area. read more

I wanted to get a small bowl of pho for my gf because she was not feeling well so I called to place the order for togo but we were told that we had to get the large size because it was a togo order. Since we didn't have a choice we just got the large. When we go there, we were told that because it was Togo order, we had to pay an extra 0.75 per togo pho to pay for the "plastic". She didn't even tell us that when we were placing the order in the first place. So not only were we forced to get a large size but we also had to pay an extra $1.50 for plastic?! Very stingy restaurant especially for a togo order. Feeling ripped off. Never coming back again. read more

Came here for breakfast with my dad on a Friday morning. They open about an hour earlier than most pho places nearby so we decided to just try this place. We ordered pho, egg rolls, and Vietnamese iced coffee. The pho was pretty good, soothing on a cold morning. Egg rolls were fresh and crunchy. My favorite part of the meal? The Vietnamese iced coffee. The flavor is strong and hits you right in the face (in a good way). I would've given this restaurant 5 stars, but the restaurant definitely needs to improve their cleanliness. The bathrooms were moldy, tables were sticky, and utensils were dirty. read more

They are open with outdoor dining. This is the only Vietnamese restaurant I know in the San Gabriel Valley that is opened for outdoor dine-in. Services here seemed to be very fast and friendly. I tried their new dish, oxtail rice noddle soup. The rice noodle and soup were very good with authentic Vietnam spices. But the oxtail was a bit tough. Should cook it a little longer. Other vermicelli rice noodle salad was just as good as the ones we had in Vietnam. For dinks, I ordered their fresh young coconut. This has very sweet coconut juice. My wife got herself a typical Vietnamese ice coffee. Not bad to have a bowl of pho and a cold ice coffee in a hot day. read more

Covid 19 visit Patio dining area open (with ceiling fan) Came here on a Tuesday night for to-go and realized they actually have a patio area that is available and opened! We ordered the number 1 and the chicken vermicelli. Overall both dishes taste decent and not too salty. The chicken is perfectly seasoned and cooked. Taste like teriyaki chicken a bit tho- but well flavored. Will definitely come back here to try other dishes. I hoped they would put Roman lettuce in the vermicelli rather than just iceberg lettuce. Tip: for the sauce, they have already put in chili/hot sauce with the black dipping sauce. If you don't like spicy, ask them to put them in separate container. read more

This is my place to go after church because my kids really love the chicken and/or meatball pho. Furthermore, they enjoy the shrimp spring row along with the the BBQ pork rice. The food never disappoints and it very fulfilling and savory. Lastly, we always order their fresh fruit (real fruit) smoothies. The fruit smoothies are not made from fake powder but with real fruit! Yummy! read more

Ahhh back to my old haunting ground...when I lived over here, I used to walk over for lunch with my kids. Menu has always had my favorite #1. I'm so happy because this place has tripe and tendon in their Pho. Lots of places don't. The broth is always so good - even before you add the bean sprouts, the green leaves(not sure what they're called), the lime, and any hot sauce or sweet sauce. I also like to order their coffee with boba - so nice and strong! Then to finish it all off with a nice dessert - usually the A3 - mixed beans with jello and coconut milk and shaved ice. So good!!! read more

Pho, Spring Rolls ($24): decent spot for pho! I give the pho 4 stars and spring rolls 3 stars so technically my POV is like 3.5 stars. The pho was good and comforting and I would get that again! Called in for a take out order. We show up and they didn't have our order. Now we need to wait for the order. What's the point of calling in if they don't bother taking your order? Btw, they charge an extra $.75 for a To-go order. Really? Do they not charge enough for the food that they need to charge for the containers? Also, the little plastic quart containers do not cost $.75 if you go buy them. Just another way they'll nickel and dime you. Not worth coming here. The food isn't anything to write home about. Definitely a waste of time and money. read more

If I need a good soup if I'm feeling a little sick.. this is where I go. They have always been consistent w their broths. There are also other go to dishes that never misses. Dine in experience: The food is alright but the customer service is horrible. There is a short hair female waiter that works there, super rude, I was ordering and she walked away while I was still talking. When she came back to delivered our food, I told her I want my bean sprouts to be cooked (this is the part she missed cuz she walked away when I was still talking her), she annoyed me again and walked away. So overall, this pho place taste the same as other places, nothing too special. read more

Pho Ha was my go to spot for years. Their pho is good and the food is prepared quickly, you hardly have to wait once you put in your orders. The eggrolls are my favorite, always consistently good. However, the flavor of their pho broths could be better. I have found a couple other more flavorful pho joints so I go there if I'm in the area instead of Pho Ha. If you want quick hot food, come here. If you want higher quality pho broth then you'll find it elsewhere. read more

We arrived at 8pm on a Thursday night and the lady with short hair as soon she walked to us she warned us that they close at 9pm and we have to make sure to leave before that time. We agreed since we know what we wanted. As soon she brought us water we ordered she told us that just pho was available nothing else since they were about to close, we ordered pho then and she never came back to check on us after she delivered the food; at 8:20pm she came and told us that we can leave now and paid and the front, we didn't even finish yet , we ate as fastest we can and five minutes later she came again with the same request we paid at 8:25 pm. We leave at exactly that time 8:20pm, when she only asked us to finish before 9pm at the first place. This type of customer services is not pleasant, plus the place isn't even nice and the tables are old and sticky. Too bad for local businesses that we as a locals wanted to help. read more

I'd say the pho is okay but pricier. Expect to pay a good 15$ for a x large and the bowl size is about 8 in diameter. It's definitely a little bit oilier than most places ive gone. I'd it's pretty standard, the flavor isn't bad but it is isn't anything too special. You can definitely taste it lol a bit lemony/likey in my opinion. But yea pricier. The decor is bright well lighted large spacious and plenty of objects to make the restaurant decently ambient. Id say maybe 10-14 tables and plenty of parking but can get iffy at times but should be fine at night or evening. It's a medium sized outlet mall parking lot with maybe 60 spots? No ev charging in the lot but there is one or two a few blocks away. The service is standard. Simple here's ur check and ur food, r u doing good? they accept card definitely. they have the little machine where u swipe and quick select ur tip. they also brought it in front of me so i felt guilt tripped to tip but yea u get the jist. Mm nothing too special about it. They charge a lot for extra noodles (4$) so yea. I'd say generic standard pho place thats just a little pricier with okay parking okay service decent wait time (10-15min) and no ev charging. read more

I used to love this place so I ordered a chicken pho to go. To my surprise you can only get large and now there's a $.75 cent charge on take out orders. Something I think they should mention on the phone but DON'T. Then the door is open and allll these flies are everywhere and the guy in the next business is outside smoking which you can smell inside the restaurant. i'm so sad. i decided to try this spot vs my normal pho place and what a mistake that was. i ordered 2 phos to go, and the noodles were so HARD despite the broth being extremely hot. the noodles tasted old, the chicken portion was extremely small for the price and it was overall a sad experience. 0/10 will not be returning unless it's for their thai tea, the only good thing i purchased. read more

Pretty standard chain Vietnamese restaurant. I like this place because the service is really fast and you get your food in about ten minutes. My favorite thing here is their banh kot which is an appetizer and are basically bite sized banh xeos. They are little deep fried crepe/flour cups with shrimp and coconut milk on top. (Coconut is not at all overwhelming if you're not a coconut fan) my bf doesn't like coconut and he enjoyed this. This is the only reason I wanted to come here because most other Vietnamese places do not serve this. Trust me this is a must order! Tried their bun no hue which was just okay. They overlooked their noodles. Also tried their pork chop rice plate which was good but they only gave us one small peice of pork chop with a large bone in the middle. I ended up having to eat my bfs food also to be satisfied. read more

I was a frequent visitor of the Pho Ha in Riverside, and I never experienced bad food OR bad service at that location, so I figured my family's experience at the Monrovia location would be the same. While the food came out quickly, the flavors in my pho weren't as strong as they were at the other Pho Ha locations, or even other pho restaurants in the SGV area. I kind of felt like I was drinking chicken soup instead of beef pho because it was so watery. My dad usually expresses that he likes his food, but he was silent and ambivalent the whole time. My mom also ordered a vegetable tofu dish to-go that she was pretty excited about, and a completely different dish came out that was more expensive since it had beef. The waiter insisted we take it instead of offering to correct the order or refund the difference. Thankfully, my parents were okay with the substitution, but what if my mom was vegetarian, and they still didn't want to switch it out? This rating is definitely more based on the food than the service, but the questionable service didn't make my family want to come back to this Pho Ha location any time soon. read more

Use to come here often but now the food doesn't taste the same. Not sure if they hired new chefs or changed the recipes. We tried the shaken beef and it was completely salty and chewy. Couldn't eat it. Ordered the pho and the broth was extremely bland. The food use to be so good here. The pho broth was literally ALWAYS on point.
