I will be updating this review once we are finished eating but the basics are: easy to access, super nice staff, very clean restaurant (even the restrooms) with plenty of seating and the food is cooked well. 9/30 update I have been back several times since my initial review and it's not just due to being a convenient lunch destination- though it is. The food here is really good. Fresh ingredients, punched up flavor and friendly service. Seriously, everyone here is very nice and accommodating of a 30 minute break, even when dining in. The wait has yet to be over 5 minutes for take-out from my experience. To be fair though I generally order an appetizer or a banh mi sandwich. Have ordered from here many times. The Pho is really tasty. Spring rolls and crab Rangoon are also very good. The only thing I've had, that I wasn't crazy about was the bahn mi sandwich. My sister and I got the large Pho Combo. The flavor was good and portion was huge. Other pho places you just get more broth for a large. Here you get more noodles and meat. One complaint is that we got one small plate of bean sprouts and basil for 2 large bowls of pho. We also got the fried egg rolls and spring rolls which were both good. We got 5 slushies and 1 smoothie for kids ranging in age of 2 to 9. The did not like the taste of the strawberry. It was overly sweet. read more

This was my first time there. It was everything I expected and more. Fast friendly service, delicious food and a fair price. I ordered one of the combo Pho bowls. Warning: I upgraded to the large Pho bowl... it is huge! Instead of chopsticks it should have been served with floaties and a diving board. I'm 6'3" and can pack away food... This used to be our favorite pho place, even with the slow service or forgetting drinks. It was at least consistent and the broth was good. Now, it's impossible to get an order correctly fulfilled, even the simplest ones. They may serve one person at your table, but somehow forget to bring the other dishes. Disappointing. They no longer have boba available, and if you order an iced coffee with your food, good luck getting it. They also are dirtier than ever, all of the sauces are uncapped/open, tables sticky, and they mop in the morning when they open. Went to have lunch with a friend, who had never had Pho before. The location was a neutral place for both of us and opened them up to something new. Pho Ever is located in an older strip mall. The decor is of an older generation but fits the surrounding location. Not a high end formal interior. We were not there for the decor, but the food. We each had a Pho. When you have Pho, it all starts with the broth. Their basic broth is a beef broth. Being Pescatarian, that doesn't fit into the menu, but the option was chicken broth. So, I went with the beef, it a horse a piece. The broth was flavorful but seemed very heavy. I'm used to broth of good flavor with light color and light consistency. The rest of the Pho had decent proportions. I had the shrimp Pho. The shrimp were smaller in size and had no seasoning. Although, I need to say they were cooked nicely. Seasoned the Pho up a bit the hot sauces and it was a nice lunch. My friend had the Veggie Pho and it had a ton of veggies and Tofu in it. Over all it was a good experience. Love this place! The appetizers are delicious, as is the phò!! Actually everything we have ordered from there has been really good!

First and last time dining here. Came in on a Sunday with a party of 4 and they were semi busy. We waited over an hour for our apps and food to come in. And it wasn't even the complete order. Our appetizers came in then 2 bowls of pho. We were missing 1 bowl of pho and vermicelli bowl. We were not going to wait for the other 2 bowls as we have already waited long enough. So when I finished, I got up and asked for our check. I explained to the young waitress that we got half our order only that I only want to pay for the food we got. She was confused. I ran through the receipt I told her what came to the table. Came out to the car, calculated again and the money she gave back to me was off. Went back in and situated it again. I told her I want a new receipt with the food that came out only so we know exactly how much money should be given back to me. I was refused a new receipt bc the young waitress said if she printed a new one, the order goes out back to the cooks. I dont know how that works, but I felt like why can't she tell the cooks that she's printing a new receipt and its not an order. The whole while there, they messed up on some orders with other customers and door dashers had to wait longer then they were supposed to. On top of that, our water was filled once within our wait. The 2 young waitresses sat behind the counter chatting. In which I do not mind, but pay more attention to your customers??? 1 star for the good broth. Other then that, bad experience. read more

I just finished the sweet and sour chicken from Pho Ever and I'm fat and happy. It was just the right combination of slightly sweet chicken, veggies, and steamed rice. I was full after eating about three-quarters of the dish, but I ate every last bite. I previously tried the noodle soup with chicken. It was my first experience with pho and it was good, but I admit that I didn't know what to expect. The serving sizes are large (almost too big). The dishes I have tried so far have been flavorful, but not overwhelming. I am glad the sweet and sour chicken was not drenched in sauce. I have only called in orders and eaten at home so I can't speak for the service. Average lunch costs $10-$15, including the tip. It is a hole in the wall that could be easy to miss. Don't miss it, though, because it's so good! read more

We knew we wanted Pho for lunch but weren't willing to drive into Milwaukee for it. I depended on my follow Yelper reviews and they came through for me. Pho Ever is clean and seating is abundant. We were quickly seated and ice waters followed. The menu was easy to follow. Three of them ordered the Pho and spring rolls while I got the Vermicelli Noodle salad with pork and egg rolls. The nuoc cham sauce was lacking. It wasn't seasoned well and I preferred a stronger garlic flavor. I mean, it needs to soak through the noodle, lettuce, cucumber, and meats and their sauce was rather underwhelming. I took a sip of my husband's pho broth before he added anything and boy, I knew I made a mistake. I should have ordered the pho. The broth was rich in flavor. You could taste the star anise, spices, and the marrow from the bones that it's been boiling all day. It really hit the spot. Our servers checked up on us regularly and made sure we got everything we needed. With plenty of parking too, we would most definitely return. read more

I have missed pho! I have been looking for pho for a long time. During the pandemic many places I went to were closed. How had I not tried this place? It was awesome! We ordered delivery on a whim but you can go there. The food was great and reasonably priced. So good. We had so much we even were able to eat it leftover! The broth was excellent and the veggies were super fresh. They should be but these were great. We also tried fried egg rolls/spring rolls. They were super tasty. It's hard to believe that this was a Dairy Queen. It was pretty slow for a Tuesday at 6:00pm. Started with a spring roll. They were ok., nothing exciting. The peanut sauce was the star item. I asked the server if they had any specials, he replied "We are famous for our Pho". Which I knew I had to order. I ordered the chicken. It was a large soup bowl filled with broth, rice noodles, some chicken slices and topped with cilantro. On the side, a plate of bean sprouts, fresh basil, lime and jalapeño peppers. We live close by and usually come here often during the winter. Their pho broth is ok but their Banh Mi sandwiches are so good. My only complaint is, if you're coming here to eat pho in the summer, they don't turn on the AC and only have fans blowing, so it's hot while you're eating hot soup. Maybe consider winter time for hot soups for sure or get the soup to go; otherwise, the food usually is pretty good. read more

My husband I have eaten here twice now, once last spring and just last weekend. The lack of frequency isn't because the food is bad. It's mainly because of me. I'm not that fond of Thai food. But do love a good broth and being in Wisconsin I need a good comfort soup and PHO EVER had a great bone both. The place is nothing to look at but relatively clean and very nice service. There name is appropriate because it really did take FOREVER to get containers for leftovers and our checks. With only 3 tables worth of people there and the many glances the server made towards our table, it was off-putting to me that she never bothered to come back to check on us. Its like once you get your food, they assume you're good to go. However, on the plus side, their food is delicious and full of flavor! The hot noodle soup is the perfect comfort on any cold, fall night and they really delivered with quality and quantity. The rangoons were some of the best I've had; although it was not shaped like a traditional rangoon and lacked that nice, golden brown color, the flavor and texture are a big thumbs up! Creamy and decadent and it actually tasted like crab with cream cheese and not cream cheese with maybe crab? The peanut sauce is savory and sweet and compliment their spring rolls in the best way. My only complaint was the lack of attention to our table, but it won't be a reason I don't come back. Maybe it was an off night. As a fellow Viet, I am extremely critical about the quality of pho, and I have to say that this pho broth is savory and packed full of flavor. It was piping hot when it came out and I was so ready to dig in. I forgot what it was called (dac biet?), but it is the combo that has all the different parts of the meat in it. Ordered the lemongrass beef vermicelli, like I have the past few times I've been there, however, I didn't receive what I ordered. This time it had like regular beef and mixed peppers on part of it. I thought it was weird, but hadn't been there for awhile and I didn't look back to the menu until I got in my car. This would be 4 1/2 stars if there was an option for that. Place is clean, service is good. I had the seafood pho, it was very good. Shrimp, squid, quail eggs, noodles and broth were very tasty. Served with a nice helping of sprouts, fresh basil and peppers on the side. My wife had the clay pot rice, that was also very good. The only sticking point was the sound from the tv I was sitting beneath was annoying-it was quiet, but just enough to disturb the calm. I'll choose a better place to sit next time. This time, the second time I went wasn't quite as good. The broth was really greasy, had a pretty thick layer on top. I'm confused as my sister had pho as well and didn't have the same issue. All in all it was still really good, but it created a different greasy sort of mouth feel. The staff was nice- pretty inattentive. We were the only table seated and I seem to always find the fewer people, the worse the service. I hope this place makes it, the construction project on hwy 100 is taking a brutal toll on the local businesses. Patronize them to help, it's good- really good food! read more

Let me start by saying I live this place because of the FOOD and that's about it. The strip mall location is easy to park at but the tables are unbelievable small The employees appear to be human trafficked Asians who can barely speak English and appear to hate their jobs and life in general. They are rude. Inattentive, will not follow up on food issues efficiently after it's served which in our case was irritating as the place was slow and our waitress disappeared as we needed more napkins and rice. I have returned a few times because the portions are huge and I live the red and green curries which are amazing. As far as the PHO goes it's average to above average at best. Reading the other reviews it appears the owners don't read these. If they do I would so give you guys a perfect score if you just told the female waitresses not to have the RBF and maybe smile! read more

Hands down, the best pho in the Midwest. The broth is rich and balanced. Their tendon is buttery and generous (clearly not frozen or sliced off of a compressed block). The basil and sprouts are crisp and fresh, and the limes are not brown on the edges. Thai bubble tea is great. This place is 1,000 times better than Pho Cali or Pho 124th. We googled this place on our way out of the nearby Botanical Gardens, looking for something new and not chain-like to try, and were very pleasantly surprised. As a native Californian, I am a little bit picky about my Vietnamese food, and played it safe with the Pho Ga (chicken pho). That being said, it was absolutly delicious. The broth was delicious even before I added my usual jalapeño and chili sauce, and the sprouts and chicken were fresh. The medium bowl was also more than enough for a midday meal. My Vietnamese coffee (cold) was sweet and caffeinated enough to keep me going for the rest of the day. My friends also picked up the spring rolls which were fresh and sweet, the fried egg Bahn Mi (which I didn't try, but she was a fan of), and the pork vermicelli noodles which looked amazing and they cleaned up quickly.
