We are a group of 6 friends.. half of us vegetarians.. so checked the menu before we picked the restaurant. It's little tricky to find the restaurant. It's a narrow turn next to the gas station. We entered and were seated. It was quite crowded, small place. We picked our orders for the table- chicken tenders, chicken wings, chicken fried rice, prawns chow mein, veggie noodle bowl, veggie fried rice. And all of us picked one bubba tea. One took hot tea. It's free but on order! Funny right? So we picked all what wanted to order. And veggies had a long list of NO's. Guess we scared the waiter with that- no meat, no mushrooms, no chicken broth, no fish oil .. omg we and the waiter were laughing ! All food was yummy. Both we and the waiter forgot to mention about the spice level. It was a bit less spicy. But the table had hot sauce so we managed! Negatives- 1. We had to call the waiter to make order. 2. We weren't provided with enough plates, bowls and spoons/ forks. 3. We had to call and ask for the check. We ordered a big bowl of noodles soup and weren't given a good sized serving spoon. We wanted to divide that by 3. When we asked for spoons and forks, we were questioned back, how many? Wow! Service is bad. But food I loved it!!! So that's why not pulling back on the rating stars! Located right off the highway it is definitely convenient! I was excited to try this place as it had good reviews. I ordered beef ball soup and my boyfriend ordered combo soup. We also ordered the fried tofu as an appetizer. The soups were brought out first..... Appetizer second. But the broth was pretty good, I wish it had a little more veggies! The fried tofu was so good. The slices were thick! I liked the sweet and spicy sauce, I just wish it had peanut crumbles on top!! This location specifically does not care about their customers. I'm a frequent at this location, and have always had issues with their service when it comes to anything from general decency when placing your order to correcting mistakes THEY make in the kitchen or through call-in/mobile orders & today they really showed they only care about the money. I have placed the same order dozens of times, the same way & have never been corrected or gotten the wrong item. This afternoon, I called & placed an order for egg rolls and a pork skewer. I received the entirely wrong order & only realized once back at work. They are the same price, so there would have been no way to know beforehand. I called and spoke with the same woman who took my order, & began explaining the issue. She said that "We thought you meant this, it's the only thing we have by this name." I was given spring rolls vs egg rolls. They are not the same thing nor did I call them by the same name. I explained I'm right up the road and that I would happily come back to exchange my order, as I'd not even touched it, but she said they would not refund me OR give me the correct item, & that I would indeed have to pay for the correct item if I wanted it. It's stupid because this is about food, but her tone the entire call was condescending and snarky. I was polite from the beginning, explained my increasing frustration as she continued to explain to me that that I would not be getting the lunch I just paid $15 dollars for, & mocked me when I said I'm finally reviewing after all the horrible customer service I've received while dining with this restaurant. She made a point to say "Yelp is only for bad reviews & people don't care anyway". Yikes. & believe me, I recognize COVID-19 & how this is affecting businesses, but they've had issues before the pandemic and since have only gotten worse. Ehh its not a 3, but not a 5 star restaurant.. but not quiet a 4 either. I would give it a 3.5 if I could. I went in around 1pm on a Monday and surprisingly it was more than half full. Luckily I was able to get a parking spot up front, but I can see how complicating the parking spaces can be on a busier day. My husband, my dad and I we all got the number 13 special bowl. It was very meaty and my small bowl was actually very comparable to a size large in most stores. The broth was flavorful but has this strong scent thats not so pleasant. Its hard to explain what the scent is like, but I would guess that its from the meat, maybe? Although there are lots of meat served in this particular pho that we ordered, you can definitely tell that it was not fresh. Also, the noodles were undercooked which made it hard for my dad to finish. The employees kept forgetting to bring me a napkin after I already asked twice, so I just gave up. Overall, not so bad pho restaurant. Especially for the price, I say its worth going. But don't expect much customer service or anything extra. So really, would you rather pay for quality? Great pho joint. Clean nice interior with tv and large enough for big group. They are located in convenient spot in Bellevue. My son and I ordered takeout. We each had the large Pho. One vegetable with tofu and the other chicken pho add vegetables. Deliciously seasoned broth with just the right amount of onions and dried garlic. The vegetables were broccoli, carrots, cabbage and sprouts. We had hot tea while we waited for the order that was very good. Price was $20. All and all a great spot. I've tried a few pho places in the area, and this one is my favorite so far. I usually order the pho tai, and it comes with several slices of beef that are tender and not overly fatty. It's also chock full of noodles, so you don't feel like they're just serving a bunch of broth with little substance. The small size usually fills me up. This is my favorite Pho restaurant in the area by far, specifically for the quality and quantity of the food they offer. I'm not a huge fan of Pho (Vietnamese soup with veggies and meat cooked within), so I usually get the vermicelli (which I believe are rice noodles) or rice dishes. With the vermicelli they provide plenty of fresh veggies, noodles and the protein that you specify. I usually get the BBQ pork, shrimp and egg roll and split it with my wife and it's plenty of food. They also include a huge sprig of fresh mint on the side which is a really nice touch and compliments the meal really well. I've also had the fried tofu appetizer which is great. It's slightly breaded and also comes with fresh veggies. And if you order it to go, they package everything to ensure it stays fresh. For example, the fried tofu is separated from the fresh veggies with wax paper, which means the tofu doesn't touch the veggies which prevents it from getting soggy. The only bummer is that the to go items are packaged mostly in Styrofoam so it's not really recyclable or compostable. Also, the service is attentive but not very friendly which when combined with the above knocks one star off their rating. read more

Decent pho place on the outskirts of Downtown Bellevue. The price and serving size is decent for a large bowl. The broth is fresh and light and doesn't appear laden with MSG compared to other places. The beef balls don't appear frozen either for once too. Grilled pork vermicelli bowl is good as well. The meat skewers are grilled and glazed nicely. Although the price is a bit higher than I'm used to in NY, the portion size is large. Ask for more fish sauce on the side too because this place can do it right. The spring roll (cha gio) that accompanied the bowl is really awful though and is not at all how it should be made. Restaurant is clean, which is a rarity for Viet restaurants. To request service they have call buttons that ring like doorbells across the restaurant which is convenient. read more

Order beef rice noodles. Received tiny beef ribs (not regular beef as in the menu) with burned chewy meet, tons of fat and mostly bone with almost no meet in most pieces. Most of them were buried under the cold frozen noodles, after mixing and trying just two pieces and asking to exchange the dish, the waiter and his supervisor just laughed about my complaint claiming that this is how the meet comes from the store and refused to exchange with demands that I need to pay as I ate half of the dish already regardless of the bowl being completely full. Horrible services and food, wouldn't recommend it to my enemies. read more

As a viet seeing viet people run this I expected way more, but it was seriously bad tasting food. Yes the portions are big but a lot of something not good is still bad. It's "needs improvement" which is the lowest you can get before getting shut down. which by the way they did get shut down last October due to a massive list of health code violations. This little restaurant is in a shopping center a couple minutes from the Bellevue Whole Foods. It has all the usual Vietnamese food offerings and some nice teas, as well. I, usually, go for the Veggie Lo Mein noodles which come in an, absolutely, massive portion size that you can survive off of for a solid 24 hours. Anytime I'm having a noodle craving, this is the first place I think of. Their pho is really super delicious and comforting. Their banh mi has that good bread you expect and is, arguably, the best part of the entire sandwich. The tofu in the sandwich is decent. Their tofu fresh rolls are the best, especially, when you're wanting something a little less greasy. This place hits the spot for my Vietnamese food cravings and considering they have some of the lowest prices you're going to see, so close to Bellevue Square, I'd say it's, definitely, worth a try. read more

Came around lunch time for a quick bite while I was making time for an appointment nearby. The place was packed and I was a bit skeptical I wouldn't be able to get my food and enjoy it without being rushed. I was pleasantly surprised that the staff was super on top of it and was getting orders out very quick! It probably took me longer to decide what I wanted than it did to get our order. I wanted to try one of the spicy pho bowls but they only offered large and I knew I couldn't inhale that much soup in the short period of time I had (but I will be back!). My mom ordered a pork banh mi sandwich, I ordered the shrimp spring rolls, and the fried egg rolls. The sandwich was good size and the pork had an awesome seasoning. The egg rolls were super yummy! The shrimp spring rolls were like 90% lettuce so that was a bit unfortunate. Very good sizes for everything though and the flavor was great. The service was very quick but apart from that the staff didn't make much of an effort to make recommendations as they were focused on getting people in and seated. This surprisingly wasn't an issue as they paid just enough attention to us and we were in and out in 30 minutes. Parking is a bit hit or miss as there is limited space and they share the lot with about 5 other businesses. I HATE writing bad reviews but think it is important to be honest. You will see most of my reviews are positive as I like to highlight good service since some people can be negative. Our service was so bad, in fact horrific that I had write this review. Three of my coworkers and I went to Pho Ever for lunch today. They were fairly busy but there we still plenty of open seats. They seemed adequately staffed but we had to wait to order. All fine but we waited and waited. Finally, I TRIED to get someones attention and a gentlemen somewhat acknowledged me but then ignored us. We waited longer. FINALLY, we were able to flag down a waitress and we ordered. I ordered the veggie curry and SPECIFICALLY asked for ONLY VEGGIES (what does that mean to you?). I was very clear and my coworkers confirmed I asked for ONLY VEGGIES and nothing else. My meal came and it had tofu in it. I'm not supposed to have tofu. The waitress said I didn't ask for veggies only and I told her I was very clear about asking for veggies only and even listed the veggies I wanted. It was very awkward and she kind of hinted at having me eat it anyway and didn't offer to take it back and make me a new dish. The waitress didn't even apologize for getting my order wrong. The staff seemed to have their heads down and weren't happy or friendly. Then, one of my coworkers wanted water and instead they threw a to go box on our table. My other coworker stopped another waiter and we were able to get more water. Hard to find parking. Decently priced and the food was hot. Food was OK but nothing to brag about. I was searching for pho spots in Bellevue and this one seemed to have the best reviews overall, and photos made the food look yummy too. I like that they have oxtail pho as an option as well as some other non-pho dishes like bun bo hue and bun rieu. I ordered the oxtail pho but was disappointed by how tough the meat was, the broth was soothing and delicious though. Their Vietnamese coffee was too sweet and it came in a bubble tea container instead of the usual drip. Prices were good for the generous portions. Pho Ever is one of the only places on the Eastside that sells Bun Bo Hue, and it's pretty good. Last time I came, it was not busy at all. Even though it wasn't busy, service was pretty slow and they never came to see if our water cups were empty or not. However, after today I would rather drive an extra 10-15 min to go to Seattle for pho and bbh. I came in on a Saturday around 12:30, and the parking lot was a mess. It was very busy and there was a crowd waiting by the door. It was my first time going to Pho Ever when it was this busy, so I didn't know how the waiting system worked. I went up to the register and saw the guy behind writing a customer's name down with how many people they had in their party, so I waited to ask if I could have my name written down too. A waitress started talking to me and assumed I was trying to cut everyone and told me to wait in line. At this point, I was very confused, because there wasn't a line behind me...it was a huddle of people. Because I was confused, I asked her where and how the line works, and she kept talking back saying you can't just cut, go wait in line. All I wanted was some clarification, but after that encounter I decided to leave. Bad customer service and very disorganized way of seating people. I ordered a shrimp curry, there are no photos of this dish and no description other than "shrimp curry." I feel like I got raw cabbage curry. The shrimp were above average in size, great flavor, most of them peeled. The uncooked cabbage was in 2" x 2" squares and chunks and 1/2" thick and overwhelmed the bowl. Not much food after removing all the cabbage. Suggestion: Little more broccoli or carrot etc., lot less cabbage - or at least cook and make in smaller pieces.
