Authentic, delicious pho! No frills just good food. They use real meat, tendons, etc. not bland 'meatballs'. We've been going here for years. The food is good but service is not so great. If you place a to go order by phone, it takes FOREVER for them to answer. When they do answer they will tell you they are closed 10 minutes prior to closing. I tried calling to place an order at 6:52 and they never answered. The phone just rang. read more

This was my first time dining in at Pho Crystal and I have to say, considering the area, it was pretty good. When we walked it on a Tuesday night, the place was completely full and we had to wait about 10-15 minutes to get a table. The fact that there was so much business was a good sign. We got seated and of course my go-to at any new pho place are spring rolls and pho tai with meatballs. The food came out pretty quickly with the spring rolls coming out first (as it should be - I hate when they give you both at the same time). I was always raised to put hoisin and sriracha in my Pho so I always do but before I do it, I taste the soup to see how it is. The broth here didn't disappoint. It was sweet and flavorful as a pho broth should be. My only complaint would be that the broth was a little too greasy for my taste. For all of you Pho Bang (located in garland) lovers, this place is comparable because of that. The meat/meatballs were very tasty and didn't have that previously-frozen taste that some places do and the veggies that we were given were fresh. However, this was more expensive and didn't contain as many meats as some other pho restaurants I've been to. Also ordered the Vietnamese egg rolls and they were pretty good. Pho crystal is such a gem in Allen! The pho options are amazing, and it is the best pho I've had in the area. So delicious and so well crafted! Their main dishes are delicious as well. I love cashew shrimp, and my dad loves their vermicelli. There isn't really a wrong choice you can make here. The restaurant is family owned, and they work really hard to provide great service and great food! The adults make an effort to remember their clients and make a connection with people who come in to dine. Their children also work their with them. One of their children definitely puts the effort in to connecting with customers, and the other one makes it pretty obvious they would rather be somewhere else. Calling all Pho connoisseurs! For those seeking the best Pho soup - look no further. I'm always searching for new Pho restaurants locally as well as when I go out of town. I can recommend places in NYC, Boston VA/D.C. and even in Zurich, Switzerland but this is hands down the BEST! And it's in Texas!!! Staff are friendly and I notice that they know all the customers walking in. Seriously about 99.5% retention!!! It's that good. My mom (who is Korean) and she went 4 times during a week visit! The only reason we didn't go all 7 days is that they close on Sundays and we had graduation celebration for the other 2 days. Everything on the menu is delicious! Been to many many pho places in Dallas. This is on our top pho list. The place was packed, we went Saturday around 1:30pm and it was still packed by the time we left. The thai tea was yummy. I liked how they have different bowl sizes: regular $6.95 and goes up from there. I really hate when places have one size super large bowls. They also have a nice variety of pho options plus other options. I got the P1 which is a special combo of the different meats. Came here for breakfast this morning. They are open at 10 but when I arrived at 10:03 the doors were still locked. Had ordered a tofu pad Thai and egg rolls. Tofu pad Thai- Usually pad Thai have eggs in there but this one had broccoli. And it did not taste too good. It was loaded with sugar and black pepper. Egg rolls- It was undercooked. I ordered the strawberry boba and was pleased with how flavorful it was - didn't taste like that strawberry milk powder some places use. The boba was fresh and delicious and they put it into a nice pint glass for me. I did want it in a To-go cup but oh well. I still rate this 10/10. I ordered the pho tai as well. The place is super small and not kid friendly only because it's so cramped inside. The workers obviously appear like they do not like their job. This Pho is amazing!! If anyone is rating this below 4 stars, they are not credible and probably have suspicious motives! I swear, the serving sizes are huge, the broth has an incredible depth of flavor, the sprouts and parsley are as fresh as if they'd just picked it, the meats are so tender and sliced perfectly (not too thick). I always add the meatballs because that's just magic we all need in our lives. The ladies that work in there - they are lovely!
