A deeply disappointing and disrespectful experience. Unacceptable behavior, especially towards women I had an extremely unpleasant experience during a lunch dine-in at this restaurant. The person who served me (who appeared to be the owner) was noticeably impatient and dismissive while I was politely confirming my entrée selections, something any customer has the right to do without being rushed or made to feel like a burden. What stood out even more was his condescending attitude during payment. He attempted to run my credit card multiple times but failed due to clear user error with his own credit card reader. Instead of calmly resolving it, he loudly announced while I was still at my table, that my card had been declined multiple times, implying it was an issue with me rather than his own machine. I calmly explained that my card was active, yet he insisted on proving otherwise. When I approached the counter and selected the correct options on the machine myself, the transaction went through immediately proving the problem was not my card. When I attempted to give polite feedback about this experience, his reaction was completely unprofessional. He raised his voice, dismissed my concerns, and publicly embarrassed me in front of other customers present there at that time. His tone and attitude felt particularly aggressive and belittling. It wasn't just bad service, it felt like I was being silenced and humiliated. Service should never come at the cost of basic dignity. I left feeling shaken and degraded. Visit this restaurant at least once every month with my boyfriend for the delicious food! I get the Thai tea and pad Thai each time and portions are great, always have leftovers. My husband and I immediately got GI sickness after eating! We ordered food to go and got the lunch size of pad ke mow and pad se ew. The pad ke mow was a bit larger, the pad se ew was small with a side of white rice (odd side). I guess there's no spring roll with the lunch option. Service is exceptional! I've eaten here on varies occasions. Today, I started with the calamari. Not what I expected. It was greasy. Pretty sure the calamari came from a freezer bag. I do not recommend ordering this. I should have done the 5 piece battered shrimp. Maybe, it would not have been so greasy. (Thinking I'm fooling myself on this one.) They do not offer lunch specials on Saturday and Sunday. It's dinner prices which is just fine. Still quite reasonable. The Fried Rice is always good and you can have them make it your way! They also offer varies types of noodles. The soups are really good! I'm a creature of habit and usually stick to the Tom Yum Gai or the Tom Kha Gai soup with chicken. Chicken Satay, which used to be a go to dish here, today was dry, flavourless, and quite thick. Sauces provided did nothing to elevate the flavour. Corn cake, similarly, not up to their usual standard, not even near it Curry fried rice, OK. Too many big hunks of green onion that still had that outside layer on them that wasn't very chewable. I love me some Thai, but I've had a lot of bad meals over the years. Thai Pan restaurant is excellent, I went there for the first time yesterday, I ordered the pork Pad Thai with 3 hotness, which was not hot, just for your information. I also got the Thai egg rolls which were fair to good, they weren't the best I've had but they aren't the worst. Their Thai iced tea was delicious as well, so overall a great meal. read more

There are quite a few good Thai places near where I live. But I just wanted to venture out to see if there is anything better somewhere else. I picked this one from Yelp and the rating is pretty good. So I think it's worth a try and also wanted to check out if Yelp is trustworthy or not. We ordered our regular dishes: papayas salad, tom aha Gai soup, and pad see ew. The salad was delicious, with a pleasant sweet and sour taste. One thing I noticed was it was a bit watery. We ordered medium hot. But be very cautious about the tiny pieces of green peppers. They are vicious if you bite on one of them accidentally. We also ordered a tom kha gai soup. It looked very appetizing. The broth was very savory with a good coconut flavor. We liked it a lot. As to the pad see ew, it was just fine. The place doesn't look very Thai to me when you walk in. But it does have some Thai wall decoration and small Thai art items here and there. Overall, it's a comfortable place to dine in. I may come back to try other things. read more

Good, not great. I've been trying to find that knock-out Thai restaurant and still searching. I had my usual Red Curry chicken. My wife had the cashew delight and we shared the chicken satay. The chicken fried rice was supposed to be a level two spicy (per instructions on menu - Levels 1-5) but it had no flavor and was extremely uninspired. The plate Looked pretty but flat. When our server was asked where the seasoning/spiciness was she said that a level 2 was like nothing to them and I should grab one of the three containers on the table and add it to my rice. (I'm not sure what was in the containers but none of them tasted like what we would've expected in our fried rice) The servers assertion was repeated more than once. Even when it was indicated that this was not an acceptable item. The massaman was not particularly good either. Certainly there was the obligatory flavor of coconut milk but outside of that, some carrots and potatoes, this was a very flat and unimpressive dish. We sent back the rice and ate the massaman as we were hungry. When we were done, we went across the street and purchased fried rice which was an entire order of magnitude better. I've been here once before and it was decent from my memory. The husband and I stopped here for lunch one day with the kids the other day. First off I hope this place is really busy at night; because they were very slow while we were there. This place is really good. They have a nice selection on the menu. We ordered the Thai egg rolls and the Thai beef jerky; both really good and great portion size. I ordered the Thai Pan Creation which was a seafood dish. I was visitingTexas and grabbing a meal with friends one evening. I am vegan and my friends are not so wanted to find a place that accommodated us all. The location is in a shopping area very non-descript behind automotive shop. We arrive and the place despite good reviews was not very busy. We were seatedand given menus. There was a good selection and we placed out order and the heat levels were requested which is great because i can't take the heat like I used to. I ordered a vegan dish with eggplant, mixed veggies, and tufu it came with white rice on the side. We also ordered edamame for the table and spring rolls. The flavors were realy good, just a little heat enough that I hadded some chili flake. It is good that they were cautious with the heat. My friens enjoyed their entrees. I drive past this establishment often and have always wanted to try it. After a busy day of work, I decided not to cook and just order instead. After much pondering, I decided to order from here and I'm regretting it BIG time. Seafood noodle was O...K...it had frozen prepackaged "seafood" medley that was far from what seafood should taste like. The imitation crab meat was the fakest kind with the most amount of flour filling. You can basically make the same thing by purchasing the MAMA brand vermicelli and throwing frozen seafood in there. Pad See Ew was the worst I've ever had. It has no other flavor except sweetness. It lacked the dark color it's supposed to have from the soy sauce and the vegetable and meat both tasted old. Chicken was super dry and broccoli was super mushy. Pad Kee Mow tastes just like the pad see ew. Overly sweet without any other flavors. I ordered pork with it and initially I thought I got chicken because it was SO SO SO DRY!!! But now that I think about it, I think it was pork because it was even drier than the chicken in the Pad See Ew. My husband called it a "jaw exercise". I don't think I've ever had drier pork...or chicken...or any other meat. I think they probably boil the meat in water, store it in the fridge, and put it in dishes when they get the order. I ordered delivery through UberEats because I was craving some Thai food. This place did not disappoint. The portions were good and the food was well-priced. Usually Thai dishes are around $13 or so a pop, but the two dishes I ordered were each $11. I got the Pad See Ew and Thai Pan Curry. Pac See Ew is my go-to, and this place did a good job with it. The noodles were flavorful and the broccoli and eggs added to the dish. I think the noodles were a bit softer than I prefer, but not to the point that it detracted from the dish. I got the Thai Pan Curry because it was the only non-spicy curry, since my brother can't eat spicy. It was very flavorful, with chicken, carrots, onions and potatoes. Actually not a bad place for a quick lunch! You would think this place wouldn't be good since its kinda hidden and there's not much people but for the price, it was pretty good. He told us to sit anywhere so I picked a seat with my friend. Since we were waiting at the front, we looked at the menu and already knew our order. Right as we sat down, we got our orders in and soon after our waters came out. Food came out pretty quick lile 10 minutes or maybe less. It was very hot so make sure to let it cool before eating. I got a level 2 spicy on pad see ew but thought I shouldve gotten a 3 or 4 because the spice was barely present. My friends pad thai had a little kick and it was perfect for my friend but I thought it could've been a 3 and been perfect. Since beef is extra here, I tried to get the pork and my friend got the chicken in our dishes. The pork was very very very tough and chewy. The chicken would be better choice next time.
