The jams used on the sandwiches were so unique and sweet, and they paired extremely well with the meat on each sandwich. Every bite was flavorful and clearly made with care. The potato salad was also delicious and the perfect side to our meal. Beyond the incredible food, the service was warm and welcoming, and you could truly feel the heart behind this place. If you're in the area, this is definitely a spot worth visiting as it has great food and an even greater purpose behind it!

With about 25 minutes until closing, I placed my order and arrived within five minutes. When I walked in, Greg, the owner, was standing near my to-go order. I greeted him and gave him my name. As he was ringing me up, I asked if I could enter my phone number for the rewards program. He told me I could do that at the end and then asked what I wanted to order. I explained that I had already called in my order and repeated my name. He asked if it was a DoorDash order. I said no and that I believed I had spoken with him when I called. He responded that he had not spoken with me and called over the young man who was standing near the drinks. After paying, I asked if I could sit down and eat. The young man didn't answer, but his expression made me feel as though the answer was no. I was very hungry, so I sat down to take a few quick bites. At that point, I felt extremely uncomfortable. Greg stood toward the back of the dining room watching me and another customer who was seated and eating. He later walked near the bar and continued watching us. I felt unwelcome, so I ate half of my sandwich, got up, and left at approximately 6:01 p.m. When I finished the rest of my food at home, I was also disappointed with the chicken salad sandwich. It did not taste like it has in the past. It seemed to have considerably more dressing and less chicken than I'm accustomed to. Everyone has to scan a QR code, place their own order, and enter their phone number. For a large group, this became very confusing because when the food came out, there was no clear way to tell who ordered what. We spent a lot of time trying to figure out which dishes belonged to each person. If you're coming with a big party, I definitely recommend making a list of everyone's orders ahead of time so it's easier to organize when the food arrives. The food itself was extremely spicy. Most of the BBQ items -- seafood, chicken, beef, and pork -- seemed to have the same heavy cumin and spicy seasoning, so the flavors started tasting very similar. Personally, that wasn't for us. However, the soy sauce fried rice and the cold noodles were really good and stood out the most from the meal. The service was good overall, although communication was a little difficult at times because it was hard to understand the staff's accents. The restaurant itself was clean and well kept. I think this place may work much better for smaller groups, but for our large party it was stressful and the food flavors were too repetitive for our taste.
