I got the famous bread bowl with mac and cheese. It's yummy (especially for the first few bites) and definitely a heavier meal. I recommend sharing it with someone. The bread is warm and chewy, and the mac and cheese is creamy with a mild cheddar flavor. Some parts of the bread bowl are a little tougher to eat, but The interior was nice with lots of seating. Service was fast!

Panera is one of those places that is 50/50 in both service and food quality. Offering pastries, sandwiches, salad and soups, it is a go to when you want a light meal for lunch. Prices have sadly gone up quite a bit. Dining area tends to be not the cleanest of areas. Overall, 7/10z

    chipotle chicken avocado melt

we always get our soup served in one of these plastic bowls . this chipotle chicken avocado melt sandwich does not look like the picture on the menu , and was missing half the ingredients. I tried asking the manager if this was the "correct sandwich " and he said " that is what you ordered isn't it " . very rude and unprofessional.

Used this location twice to deliver food, and it was good both times. Sometimes getting food delivered to a sick relative from half a country away can't be beat. The first time we ordered via Grubhub so was able to take advantage of some promotions and offers, but this time, the same family feast wasn't available on that platform, so went to the Panera website, where it is still available. It comes with a salad (caesar was the choice), a quart of soup (chicken noodle), a french baguette, and four sandwiches from a limited selection. I ordered Bacon Turkey Bravo, Roasted Turkey Avocado BLT, Chipotle Chicken Avocado, and toasted steak and white cheddar. After mandatory tip, convenience fee, and tax, it came out to $56.43 so about $15 per person which isn't too bad. It was delivered at the time it was promised, and one can follow the progress on the Panera app. The relatives enjoyed the full size sandwiches, and it's good to know this Panera is close by for future needs.

    The menu items

I recently visited Panera Bread and completed a "Pick Two" order. I choose the Chicken Caesar Salad and the Chicken Cordon Bleu Blue Melt. When I got home, and looked at my sandwich it only contained ham. I am more than certain that the sandwich is supposed to have more than ham (according to the ingredients). I'm am not sure if the ingredients were unavailable or if it was a mistake but making an item with half of the ingredients is crazy to me.

Chicken and Rice soup, Green Goddess Cobb Salad with Chicken, Chocolate Chip Cookie, and Broccoli Cheese soup to go.

This was my second visit to Panera today as my first choice in Allen was closed early without notice. Ordered the pick two, broccoli cheddar soup and the green goddess cobb salad with chicken with dressing on the side. Had a $5 coupon that expired today so I needed to use it up LOL. Most times when I order through the app, I get $1 off a sweet treat so I got the chocolate chip cookie as well. Got my food, everything looked great and I started eating the soup and realized it was chicken and rice, not broccoli cheddar. Went up to the counter and the very nice young man apologized and got the correct soup right away. Didn't even ask for the wrong soup back, packaged it to go for me, and included a fresh baguette as well. So nice to get that great customer service. Way to go Panera!

All three of the people that came by to refill coffee and water and to check on us (multiple times) were very nice. We were fortunate to arrive at the perfect time for a Saturday morning, as we would find out in just a few minutes, as we watched the wait list grow. This being our first time, we weren't sure of the seating situation. I walked to the back, where the to-go pick up was located, to find that we can sit anywhere and that someone would come and help us. We did, and they did. I suggest you stop in and give Curuba a try. Very reasonable prices, lots of menu choices, wonderful staff, oh, did I mention the coffee? I love dark roast coffee, "Just black, please". This Columbian coffee is dark, rich, smooth and flavorful with an aroma that hits the senses with every taste. If you're a dark roasted coffee fan, stop in for a cup to go. You'll be back. And even better, the coffee comes from Columbia. They purchase it from a local importer (I believe). They provided the url via QR code. We believe in the "Buy local" philosophy. It's nice to see businesses doing business with local businesses. THE BAD: It's a small restaurant. Making a reservation (Open Table) is likely a good idea. We happened to find it at a slow moment on a Saturday morning. OVERALL: We're fans. I'd love to take our friends and family for lunch, or tell them about our new find. However, there are some things better kept to oneself.

Smells like fresh baked bread and goodies every time you open the door. Pastries are SO WORTH IT. They also have seasonal items: - super tangy passion fruit/pineapple danish -refreshing tomato basil danish -fun lemon/raspberry meringue danish We love the ham and cheese croissant too(year round) Giving it 5 stars because we still love it. But had a bad customer service experience today. Ordered a bunch of pastries for 2. We were asked by cashier if we wanted our "tomato danish and elote danish to be heated" Us: "yes, except the tomato danish, pls" Paid and tipped. All was dandy. Went to a table to patiently wait when my husband realized they didn't add the tomato danish(about 1 minute after transaction) He had to get back in line to ask what the mix up was and order it again. Cashier told him she misunderstood that we "didn't want the tomato danish". We didn't get the danish because it sold out (Understandably so, it's super yummy) while my husband was in line. As folks from the industry, we understand mishaps can happen, we still love this place and will still come back. This experience was just disappointing and could have been completely avoided. In the future maybe have cashiers repeat orders back. Which is usually normal for most/all food related businesses.

The small three cheese pizza was also perfect -- great crust, great sauce-to-cheese ratio, and honestly the perfect size to split with someone alongside a salad. But the TNT panini?? Holy crap. The second you unwrap it, the smell of the garlicky focaccia hits you immediately. And the pink sauce was some of the best I've had. The tiramisu was also the perfect sweet ending to the meal. It wasn't overly sweet and soggy like most in this area. Cannot wait to try the cannolis! After years of searching for real Italian food, I finally feel like I found it. I will say, the food is good and unique selection of frozen meats and menu items The customer service is not good! A young lady who works there (same person on both visits) is not very friendly! Not inviting with her personality. Rude and seems like customers are bothering her. I chalked it on my first visit as her having a bad day. Not going to judge her on first impression. We a have bad days. Went back for a second visit. She was on the phone with a customer taking an order and was rude and "huffed and puffed" when she got off the phone. While the customer "may" have been difficult, this was my second time seeing her "annoyed" and/or "rude". I grabbed three items from the freezer. Two items had no price tag. Another young lady took the two items and weighed them to place a price tag on them. She did not tell me what she was doing, yet I quickly figured out what she was doing as she grabbed the items without speaking to me. Even though she didn't communicate her actions, I shrugged it off. I was not bothered. Back to the original lady who has now ended her phone call. She begins to ring up my items and takes the label off of the third item, which already had a price tag of $17 (and change). Without saying anything g to me, she takes the tag off the item and rings up the item at $21 and continues adding the other items. Remember, she has said nothing to me as to why she did this AND remember, the item already had a price on it if $17. I stopped her and asked, "Why did you ring me up at a different/higher price?" Her response, "It's wagyu!" Still confused because it was already priced/tagged, I replied, "Ok. It already had a price and you just took it off and didn't say anything to me as to why you did what you did." "Well, it was labeled wrong!" "And how am I supposed to know that and how is that my fault? When I pulled it out of the freezer, it was labeled $17!" I then realized, she had assumed the young lady who weighed and put labels on the other two items had also put the label on this item. She continued, "We have some new employees and they have been labeling some items incorrectly." "So I'm am punished for your (company) mistakes? The label was already in the freezer on item for $17. If that is the price ($21), fine. At a MINIMUM, you could have given me the courtesy of telling me what you were doing instead of just taking it off and changing the price without saying anything to me!" She was quiet for a moment and then said, "If you don't want it, I can take it off. It's the price of the wagyu. There is nothing I can do!" "Yes. There is something you can do, because you just did it! (Making note she changed the price from $17 to $21) I would think you would honor your mistake, and allow the customer (me) the $17 price and inform me of the mistake. Regardless, I still want the wagyu, because I want to try it. That would be the proper way to handle that [situation]." She just looked at me and finished the transaction and asked if I wanted my receipt. Again, very rude interactions both times. I am struggling if I will ever go back. I like this place and want to support the local business. She has just rubbed me the wrong way, so I am jaded. Maybe if she isn't there next time, I will go inside. If she is there I might just leave. LOL
