My brother got the bun bo hue. The soup came out with a massive pile of bean sprouts, basil, cilantro, and jalapeño. My pho came out not crazy piping hot, but the slices of of eye round were already well cooked in it. I don't think it was sitting around much, though, as the rice noodles were really perfectly cooked and stayed fresh throughout the meal. The pho broth was very much on the sweet side, I was shocked to find. Because it was so sweet, it was hard for me to figure out if the broth actually tasted good. The bun bo hue broth, which I tried a little bit of, was a little better because it had a little bit more acidity and the spices helped. But everything tasted a little sweet compared to what I'm used to for pho. Nevertheless, we finished our noodles, relaxing in it's coziness as it was positively frigid outside. I want to give this place a decent review as it is a small business and the prices are very fair for a hearty amount of food. But the soup does run very sweet, so be warned if you're looking for a different style of pho.

We've been to the watauga location before which is owned by the father. The Carrollton location is owned by the son. It's newer and more modern and bigger than the original location. They also had a lot more workers too. They have the same recipes for the pho and banh mi. But Kelly said the drinks and Bbh were different so we had to get them. It did not disappoint. Got the da chanh which is their limeade. Just like my mama makes it. Their coffee is different too she said. I loved my BBH. It did impress me. The meat was tender.
