Not the best I've had, but not terrible either. The sides they gave (basil, bean sprouts, jalapeño, lime) were the same ones they use for pho, which felt a bit off for BBH. Absolutely delicious, I got the com thit nuong and it was simply delicious and filling. Pork was hot, rice was succulent and not too mushy nor dry. The cucumber was fresh and great service. They are generous with the noodles(I love noodles) and they are very fast. We had ordered our food and not even a full 8 minutes went by when they started bringing out our food. The veggie spring rolls were absolutely delicious, crispy, fresh and very very hot(let them cool lest you burn your tongue) will absolutely be going back and bringing friends! Food We ordered Bun Bo Hue. My wife is Vietnamese so she knows authentic vs not. This dish needs lemongrass as a main ingredient but theirs had none or it was not noticeable. I guess we have to drive to Richardson to get take out Bun Bo Hue. These Pho restaurants need to use authentic Vietnamese recipes for all of their dishes. I guess it's possible that they adjust their recipes thinking it will be more popular with American customers but there is no substitute for Vietnamese cuisine. Solid pho place in the suburbs of Dallas. We came on a weekday night and there was plenty of parking and seating available. There is a mix of both booths and tables to choose from. We ordered two types of spring rolls (beef and pork) and while they were both delicious, they were on the skinnier side compared to some other spring rolls I have had at other restaurants. I got the egg roll and beef vermicelli bowl it was very flavorful and well portioned. I did find it strange that they had a scallion mixture that was included as a topping on the bowl.
