This was my first time here in a long long time. The soup flavor was good, but the sliced beef was tough and without flavor. I ordered the large bowl pho Combo and my friend ordered the small bowl. It seems the only difference between the two was the amount of soup, not the amount of noodles or Beef or other ingredients. Such a lovely place. My boyfriend and I have been here quite a few times. It's mostly a takeout place so it's usually pretty quiet and not super decorated but the lighting is cute. Decided to try this place after hearing good things about it, but left very disappointed. I went in to place a to-go order, and the man who took my order was pretty friendly. However, when I asked if the veggie and tofu soup was vegan, he didn't really answer and said that it had veggies and tofu in it, which I mistakenly took as a yes. When I got home, I realised the broth that came with the pho was practically indistinguishable from the broth that came with another soup in my order, the wonton pho, so I decided to not eat my pho with the broth. As the duchess, I feel it's time to update. We come here often. During the summer me and the kids are here weekly and during the winter we are here twice a week easy. My kids always get the kids pho with shrimp and eye of round and I get the large P15, which is eye of round. I also get the BBQ pork spring rolls. They are amazing. After having had the pho at several other places, I can now say this is the best in the area. I've tried Allen, Richardson, Dallas, even the competition here....this is the best hands down. The service is remarkable and the food is just that good. This was my first time here today with my 6 year old. She had dentistry work done and needed to eat something and requested soup. So pho we go! We usually go to Pho Bistro but this was closer and had great reviews. My daughter got a bowl of chicken broth (1.00) and I got some rangoons and the spicy seafood curry noodle soup. The rangoons came straight from the fryer to us, so they were pretty oily. My real disappointment was that it had no dipping sauce and the wonton it was in was super stale tasting. The filling was tasty, but again...a little dipping sauce would be nice. (3 for 2.95) My curry was not spicy. But I'll say this: Most things that say spicy aren't to me. I'm a creole/Cajun girl and you really need to spice things up for me. Next time I'd request extra spicy. If also request no fake crab; most all of the seafood in the curry was the fake imitation crab. There were 5 shrimp in the large bowl, three calamari and three scallop pieces. Everything else was noodles and imitation crab. The curry itself was tasty, but when we got our stuff to go, I got it home 15 minutes later and there was no soup. He packaged it to go for me, and I guess didn't include most of the soup part, so all I got was the gummy noodles. Not my best outing, but I'll probably go back and try the pho here. I was incredibly disappointed in the bah mi that I bought. I have never had a bad one from anywhere before but I will never get one from this location after today. The vegetables were not pickled at all. It's just thinly shredded carrot, some weak looking cilantro throw on, and soft sliced cucumber. I don't know if there was Daikon or not. I was already over the sandwich to think to check. The meat looked and tasted cheap. It was so thin and uniform that I question the quality. Hands down one of the best Pho places I've ever been to and I've been to several across the DFW metroplex. The service and staff are great. The pho special large was in 1 white container with it being 80% filled with noodles and a few slices of meat, and the broth was about 90% filled. I had the chicken Pho last time and then the spicy seafood with egg noodles, super yummy. This place is located in a small shopping area across from Kohl's and very easy to get in and out. We made an order for pick up. We got the special combination pho and 2 banh mi's to go. Everything was made quickly and ready to pick up within a reasonable amount of time. It was all packaged well too in a box so that nothing would spill. They neatly had the noodles in a separate container from the soup which I appreciate and the sides and hoisin sauce were in a separate baggy as well. The soup was hot, but by the time my husband and I got home, it still wasn't hot enough to cook the semi rare meat. The amount for a regular is just good enough to not to be hungry. So if you have a big appetite, it's probably not enough. The soup wasn't that great though; it was pretty high in sodium. I was missing that good rich flavor that comes with broth that's been soaked in whatever meat bones and all for endless hours that great pho is suppose to have and I'm definitely not a pho snob at all. For the most part, I think they all taste the same. The banh mi was pretty sad though. The prices weren't bad, but the portion size was small and there wasn't much inside. I'm just glad there was enough bread to keep me full. I'd much rather get the one from Bistro, but that place is too far from my house. Still problems with new cooks. My lemon grass chicken is usually my go to, tender and delicious. Last night I ate three pieces and threw it out. It was tough and hard.
