Let me preface this by saying I never leave yelp reviews. Like ever. But i strongly feel the need to now. I strongly suspect the pho I was served was reheated or possibly even reused. As I was eating I started getting a bad stomach ache. The bean sprouts I was served were brown and wilted that should have been my red flag to get out then and there but I held out. I've eaten reheated pho before but that was out of my own refrigerator. What they served me tasted exactly like that. I hope they get a surprise visit from a health inspector real soon. read more

Love coming here for Pho!!! I usually come in here for Pho take out. The #12 is my favorite. Note of warning on take out... The pho will come in 3 sections, the broth base, noodles/meat, and then the sprouts, chili, basil. The container that the broth comes in is so full that you will need to drain some of it off to get everything in. This is the spot for something hot and soupy on a frigid day. Their pho is the best in the west. I usually eat small meals throughout the day, but I break the rule and just order a big bowl whenever I go here. Their menu is very flexible, so custom make your bowl of pho any ways you'd like. Parking is easy. They take cash only. There were times when I stopped by just when they were about to close. They stayed late and were able to help me with my order. Talk about customer service! As far as Phó goes, this is the place. The atmosphere is casual and the waitstaff and cooks make regulars like me feel like family. Newcomers are welcomed in much the same way, but they don't know your order yet, so you get a menu and a smile. The egg rolls and spring rolls are made here and worth the price; their peanut sauce is nothing to sneer at either! They are more than willing to customize your order, adding veggies or substituting and or changing what's in the pho and other menu items, which is great for picky eaters and dieters like me and my hubby. Tam and Leon are my favorite servers but whoever is there when I usually go is always on point with beverages and customer satisfaction. The restaurant is always very clean and the decor is warm and inviting. There is usually quite a few people dining but I have never had to wait too long for my food. As far as the regular pho fixings, this place has it all and then some. I have never left dissatisfied and have won many Phó-naysayers over with this quaint and well managed restaurant. I highly recommend it to phó lovers and first timers alike. My favorite part about the restaurant is that it is actually run by Vietnamese people, the food is authentic enough to garner many native eaters. The food and service here is the best! My husband has been eating here for 17 years. When we met 9 years ago we lived on the other side of the state, but the first chance he had he brought me here to eat. Every time we came back over the mountains we made sure to stop here. Eight years later we moved back to the west side and we have been eating here at least every other week for the last year. In all of this time the quality of pho and service has been consistently the best we've had anywhere. We have tried A LOT of pho places all over the state and this truly is the best! read more

Definitely one of my "regular" pho spots in the Renton Area. Rich tasting broth, menu offering vermicelli bowls and rice plates as well as pho. Their springs rolls have both shrimp and pork - and they're really good! Service is always fast, usually less than 5mins to get pho... might take longer if you opt for a rice plate. I know this place is good because it's recommended by a Vietnamese family friend. So, every time I'm visiting Seattle I drop by this small restaurant for yummy pho. Overall, the pho is comparable with the ones I'm used to in Westminster, CA. Unfortunately, the customer service is pretty bad. We weren't greeted upon arrive being the 3rd party in the restaurant. A regular was waiting at the counter for a few minutes before one of the ladies came out to take his money. I had to holler to order a Vietnamese iced coffee because no one was coming out of the kitchen to check up on the customers--the 2 ladies were talking in the kitchen about how the younger generation moves out and look for their own places instead of staying with their parents when they get married like in Vietnam. read more

I like their service. Otherwise, they have served me the worst pho I have ever had in my life. I felt like I was eating a nice bowl of top ramen which really isn't saying much. I think all of us (my family and I) received a shitty bowl of pho in different styles. My noodles were undercooked and my broth tasted like it was a can of cooked of Swanson's beef broth and no Pho flavor to it. My mom's broth was kind of similar but it at least she had cooked noodles. My dad's broth was a little better off but some of his noodles were still sticking together! It was just a horrible experience. Pho is my comfort food. So when I need comforting at lunch, I come here because I know exactly what I'm getting. I've been coming here for almost 10 years now and my pho dac biet is always the same. They don't do any fancy fusion thing... it's just me and Vietnam here. Best part: I'm in and out within 15 minutes! It typically takes only 1 minute for the pho to land on your table after you order it. Grilled and dry food takes a bit longer... maybe 3 minutes! During the summer I like to get their refreshing bun thit nuong with cha gio.... though its a little more filling than the small pho. This place makes the stuff I grew up with. And the folks are really nice here, especially the owners. read more

I ran into a friend who worked close by . He said he came here usually with his collegues on every odd days of the week. for lunch That's how much they liked their pho. I found that their broth is consistently good. I also tried their other store located on 11th St. Tacoma that provided same fast and inexpensive menu. this use to be the spot for my fiance and i to go to for quick and yummy pho. So why the 2 stars? well, it's not what i've seen but what my fiance saw... Lets start off with their pho. We enjoy the noodle soup very much, I'm the type of person who LOVES extra onions and cilantro on my soup. So i was sitting and facing the outside, leaving the fiance facing the kitchen. After we were done eating, he then mention to me that he saw the server use his hands to pick up onion and cilantros to place it onto my soup. I don't know if i appreciate being told after the fact though..? yeah i am. Do not get me wrong, i understand that some/most restaurant staffs uses their hands (even though they are not suppose to touch, ready to eat items. It's all in the broth and ingredients. The broth is deep, and not overly aromatic like most other pho joints. The brisket and tendon are cooked so tender and sliced perfect. This place is a no-fuss, no-frills joint with great Pho and a very clean, laid back atmosphere. The soup was delicious, some of the better Pho I have had in the greater Seattle area. A Vietnamese friend told me about this place so I thought "it has to be good". Overall the food itself is about 3 stars. It's the customer service that brought it down to 2 stars. As I stepped into the restaurant, the owner at the register lifted his head, looked at me for 3 secs, then continued on with his business. After a minute I thought oh well I will just help myself then. A few minutes later a lady came out to take my order. I think she had a bad day because she looked pissed! She scared me. No it's not because it's a Vietnamese restaurant. I've been to other pho places, one closest example is the 108 across the street, they are super friendly or at least courteous at other places. I was in a rush to get the hell out of there, and didn't even realise I didn't get my bill nor a receipt until I got into my car. Basically she told me how much I had to pay, I did, end of business. Make sure you ask for the bill if you eat there, just to see what you get charged for. I was absent minded, but restaurant owner, aren't you supposed to give your customers the bills anyways before they pay? And receipts? Why do we have to ask for those? Ps. Ok last thing and you don't have to trust me on this because what I'm about to tell you is just from what my gut told me but test it for yourself when you get there. My gut said "this place is filthy!!!" I mean, it's common sense. If you don't look happy, then I'm afraid you are not happy about what you're doing, and more than likely you didn't put your heart into making good pho. Actually the Ph was okay but the environment I'm in especially with woman and children around.
