Also picked up shrimp and pork spring rolls which was tasty with its full filling of veggies, shrimp and pork.. Came with hoisin sauce for dipping. We have been coming to Pho Ba Co for years! There's no better local pho joint that hits the spot for those cooler and/or hungover days! The pho is flavorful and always piping hot. It always arrives faster than expected. Other menu items include egg rolls, spring rolls, rice dishes and dessert drinks. Haven't tried many of the drinks, but I do recommend the egg rolls and vermicelli dishes! Service is always top notch! We notice the same staff members working and they're friendly during the entire time. We've had such bad service from other pho spots so we appreciate their smiling faces. On our last visit, I watched a pho first timer next to our table ask the staff about what to order and asked about what sauces to add to his soup.. the staff member was so helpful and kindly kept checking to see if he enjoyed it in which he did! The parking can get a little busy with all the businesses around but we've always been able to find a spot. There's plenty of indoor AND outdoor seating too! Prices did go up a little which I totally expect since the pandemic, but we will still happily continue supporting this mom and pop shop! read more

Delicious food, great service, and nice restaurant. Definitely worth a return visit! Took my dad and son here for dinner and was very happy with the experience. The food was delicious, everybody finished their meals with a happy smile, which can be a challenge for my picky son! But if he finished everything (and I gave him a pretty generous portion of my Pho) then I assure you it was good. The pho was tasty, the broth is a bit on the light side, but I'm ok with that so I can add my tuong an pho (hoison sauce) and tuong ot (siracha) without throwing off the balance too much. Generous amounts of noodles and meats, I definitely left with a happy belly! I like that they give you the cafe sua da (iced coffee) in a to go cup, very convenient right of the start. The restaurant itself is casual, but with a contemporary feel to it. They've got outdoor seating for those pleasant summer evenings, and with plenty of seating inside, with room for groups or a smaller intimate setting. Overall, great experience! It's funny how you never think to review your regular spots. I've been coming here for over 6 years. Sometimes epically hung over as one does and is in dire need of the healing powers of pho and the bone broth. The egg rolls are always bomb and come with really fresh lettuce, pickled carrot/daikon and herbs. I ALWAYS order egg rolls! The pho is nice, can't go wrong here. Came during a non busy time for to-go now that my fave pho place is gone thanks to Irvine Company's outrageous rents. Ordering to go was easy. Price paid does not reflect the price on the menu. I paid $56 for 3 bowls of pho and a coffee. Said it would take about 10 mins. Asked me to wait outside. No problem. I don't want to be the bothersome customer asking where's my order every min so I patiently waited and nobody bothered to tell me order was ready 20 mins later. Pho to go is time sensitive bc you need the hot broth to cook the rare beef. 10 mins of just sitting there makes a big difference! Then when I get home, they didn't label what's chicken vs beef. A family member has health issues with beef so I can't accidentally give them beef when their health depends on getting the chicken. Came here for lunch one day and so glad we did! We ordered an order of spring rolls, pho combination and pork chop and rice. The spring rolls were good! Although it could've been roiled a tad bit tighter cause once we bit into it, everything fell out which caused it to be super messy The broth of the pho was delicious!!! It was flavorful and not oily! I like to squirt a bit of lime in mines and it brightened up the flavor! The portion was perfect! There was a great ratio of noodles to broth! Food is the only thing that really gets my family excited during quarantine and I have become the expert at finding family meals. Was so excited to see that Pho Ba Co offers family meals! I was a little hesitant about bringing home pho but they separate out the ingredients so that you can heat the soup at home and pour over for fresh noodles!! My friend and I also split some egg rolls and WOW just as amazing as the pho - super crispy and packed with flavor. The prices are also moderate/reasonable for OC standards and the customer service was wonderful! They do allow indoor and outdoor seating currently, and we were seated promptly inside when we came on a Friday early evening. Located in stoneridge plaza, kind of near Woodbridge. Parking can be a little tight but turnover for spots is super fast. They have a setup of outdoor tables and a covid safe ordering station. Menus are plastered all over the window with a qr code to order! The cashier is super friendly and accommodating. For pho the prices are good for irvine and the portions are huge ( we could split a large with 2 people!). Quickest quality food and service I have ever experienced at a pho resto!!! Listen.. this feedback is coming from an individual who grew up in the Bay Area where Pho restaurants are in every corner (if you know, you know). We came here 1hr before closing on a Saturday night since we were just passing by the area and needed our soup fix. they looked to be very busy where Only a few tables were available but we did get seated right away. As soon as we placed our orders, we looked down at the menu for literally 5 minutes or less, and our food was already there! We were shocked and happy at the same time. We knew that having our food delivered that quick is fine since a lot of people were ordering pho so I am sure they have things prepped but man we were so amazed! Not only that they were quick, the employees were actually very friendly (No one ever goes to pho restaurant for service lol) but I definitely would go here again for their service and food. I know I talked a lot about the prompt food service but the quality of food was also pretty darn good. So much flavor in the egg rolls and pho. If you're looking for authentic Vietnamese this isn't it. Very watered down Americanized version of Vietnamese food.. It was really crowded when we went on a Saturday night so I'm guessing a lot of people like that. Very small portions, my 5 year old had a bowl of pho and was still hungry there were barely any noodles in it I was shocked. My yellow noodles were the same. Price point was very high, which is expected for Irvine. Don't get the soda lemonade it tasted like dirty ice water. Service was decent so 3 stars. read more

I was meeting with my sister for an impromptu lunch. While we may not be on the same wavelength at times, we unanimously agreed the weather was perfect for some soup. Cloudy, but no rain in the forecast. A bit chilly, but not windy. So we decided to come here since we both haven't had pho recently. Also, the drive to Little Saigon wouldn't work with our afternoon plans. The stars must've aligned that day. Parking in the plaza was easy, I was able to find a spot near the front. With only a handful of patrons, we were immediately seated at one of their front patio tables. Our dishes arrived less than ten minutes after ordering. And as we took our first few slurps, more people arrived and a line formed outside. Pho with rare steak and well done brisket was a tasty choice. While the beef broth was clean, I found it a tad too light. Enough to satisfy the tongue, but could've packed a more savory punch. The meat portions were fairly generous. Each piece was soft, flavorful, and tender; chewing was effortless. As for the accompanying rice noodles, the thin strands were initially firm but loosened with time, as it absorbed some of the broth. Perfectly al dente if you ask me.
