Egg rolls
Jane R.

Fast service! Meat was cooked juicy and tender, but I found the flavor to be a bit lacking. We got egg rolls, pork chop on garlic butter rice, and tenderloin on garlic butter rice. I was excited about the rice but it didn't really taste buttery or garlicky for it to be considered garlic butter rice IMO. All the other dishes, I personally found the taste of the meat to be a bit lacking in flavor, nothing about the taste was memorable at all, but the way it was cooked was really good, temperature wise. We were in the area and this place was suggested. Maybe we should have tried the pho, but I mean it's the summer time so it's too hot to be having pho so we skipped it. Based on what we got, it was generally yummy, but I wouldn't go back here again. Id be more inclined to try other places.

Mi Char so pork - it was ok

I ordered delivery so I can't speak to the ambiance or service but the food was ok and I might get it again: --Garlic Noodles beef tenderloin 5/5 stars = delicious! The noodles were flavorful and the meat was tender! I would totally order this again! --Phở Rare steak & brisket 4/5 = the broth was flavorful but I didn't get any steak, I only got fatty/inedible pieces of brisket --Mi Char siu pork = 4/5 the broth was delicious but the noodles were too al dente --Shrimp Spring Rolls (2x) = 2/5 I won't order this again as it was 90% lettuce with only a baby bit of noodles, veg & then the standard 3 shrimp. I prefer more noodles & veg so I dont feel like I'm eating a lettuce roll with a couple pieces of shrimp. Also, they don't have any Nuoc Cham sauce which is such a bummer

Pork rib & steak pho

The vermicelli noodles with grilled beef & eggrolls was so refreshing. Love that they have so much vegetables in it which make it very light. My husband's pho came with a lot of meat, we had to bring some home for our puppy. Definitely loved the broth. It was very earthy. Service was quick. Bathroom was clean.

Our local pho place. Irvine has many to choose from but this place doesn't disappoint. Been coming here for years. They changed their menu about 7 months ago. Added more dishes to keep up with changing times. Their garlic noodle was pretty good. Will keep coming back.

Pho with brisket and rare steak

Got the pho with steak and brisket and it was yummy! Got the stamp of approval from my boyfriend who claims to be a pho connoisseur. but I do agree it was good. Wish the herbs were a bit more fresh but o well. Also got the cucumber mint drink which was dang refreshing and delicious. I don't normally enjoy those but I really enjoyed this one. Service was pretty fast and the inside is clean and spacious.

I love the food here, it just is kind of loud at the restaurant for whatever reason. Might be nice if there's some calm relaxing music playing in the background. The food is good! Love the beef broth, it's not oily like some places, service is great, very kind and considerate. I would recommend eating outside instead of inside the restaurant, but on a hot summer day like today, had to eat inside! Or just get it to-go if you are looking to have some peace and quiet. I definitely recommend this place for some good chicken pho!

When you can't get your ass all the way to garden grove or Westminster this is a solid spot to get your pho and Vietnamese cuisine fix. I hadn't dined in here for quite some years but thought it was really good. The staff here is really friendly, quick and and attentive. I'm also a fan for their two hot sauces / chili paste things. Overall a great restaurant serving your classic Vietnamese soups, egg noodle and rice dishes. Chúc mừng!

Pho Ba Co is a Vietnamese restaurant located in Stonecreek Plaza. There's plenty of parking spaces in the plaza. They serve noodles, rice, and side dishes. I opted for the pho and was very satisfied. Quality was top notch. The broth was tasty. It came with a huge portion of noodles and the perfect amount meat (brisket and rare steak). They also have the plate of basil, bean sprout, lemon/lime and jalapeño on the side. Everything together tasted amazing - I was very full. Next time, I'd like to try the take out deals. It seems like those are cheaper than dine-in and is a perfect fit for a party of two. Service was friendly, efficient, and quick. The ambiance is simple with many tables and chairs - nothing particularly unique. Overall, this is a fantastic restaurant serving up delicious pho that's sure to satisfy anyone's soup noodle craving.

We were in the mood for Vietnamese food, and Pho Ba Co had some pretty good Yelp reviews, so I decided to check it out. Got there around 5pm, and it was nice and quiet since they weren't busy yet. We were hangry, so we jumped right into ordering: Grilled Value Platter Beef (4/5), Grilled Value Platter Pork Chop (4/5), and Rib & Tai Pho (3.9/5) The pho came out crazy fast, like 5 minutes, but the grilled beef and pork chop platters took about 15 minutes to arrive. The pho broth was super satisfying and flavorful, though the rib meat was a bit tough and stuck to the bone--otherwise, I might've rated it higher. The beef and pork chop platters were solid, well-cooked, and tasty, definitely earning their 4/5. The staff was awesome, always checking in to see if we needed anything, which made the meal even better. The restaurant was clean, and the restroom was spotless too. They had boba drinks on the menu, but I was too full to try them. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'd probably order another bowl of pho next time I swing by! My Personal Rating : 4.24 Food 4/5 Service 4.3/5 Price 4/5 Ambiance 4.3/5 Cleanliness 4.5/5

Vietnamese coffee
Fortuna N.

Their pho is 3/5 since the broth was not seasoned well and a bit bland. I ordered their side of pickled onions and it wasn't pickled enough more like raw onions, however, they do give a hefty size. BUT their Vietnamese coffee at this spot is 5/5!!!! Great pricing for $6 for its size which came in a huge large cup! The coffee was strong and sweetened perfectly with condense milk which had the right amount of crushed ice. I would come back here for their Vietnamese coffee to go.

I think for the Irvine area, this is a pretty solid Vietnamese pho spot. It has a large menu with various combinations and value sets. It's not the best I've had, but I'd come here if I don't want to drive out somewhere further like garden grove. The broth was clean and not too oily. Vegetables were fresh. Spring roll came with lettuce wraps and was really good. I also got a decent amount of large shrimps in my small bowl of pho. There's plenty of seating and service was good!

Chicken pho in beef broth

Food was good. I liked that we had some extra pho noodles to take home and the waiter asked if we wanted some extra broth. Thought that was a nice touch.

Came here around 7pm and it wasn't overly busy so I was able to get a table right away. Pretty good pho just stopping by. Aesthetic & Ambience: 6/10 nothing overly noticeable or stands out. The ambiance is lowkey but does get busy. Service: 9/10 honestly the service was great. I sat ordered and got my food in under 10 minutes. Rare steak pho: 7.5/10 broth was good, and they gave a generous portion of veggies.

The Crab Toast was great, it was super crab-forward, with a buttery, crunchy toast that added the perfect texture. If you love crab, this dish is worth trying! The Banh Mi Chao with Filet Mignon came with bite-sized chunks of beef, and the filet was seasoned really well. My only complaint was that some pieces had chewy tendon, which took away from the experience a bit. We also tried the Curry Crab Omelet, which was definitely packed with crab. However, the flavor started to feel a little repetitive after a while, so it wasn't my personal favorite. Overall, Nep Cafe is a cute spot for brunch or a casual meal with friends. However, service can be slow when it gets busy.

The other members of my party didn't realize that and walked around to the other side to find the entrance. I had notified the other members of my party that there were discount gift cards available at Costco, but the Little Sister website did not dictate prices so we were not sure if we should have bought them. For a party of 3-4 people, I would say $100 of store credit would be used up in one visit. It was slow food. We sat down and ordered, and they brought out the food more or less at the same time for all of us. Some weirdo kept taking pictures next to us, so don't expect too much privacy. Either way, going here satisfied our curiosity, and the food was noteworthy. My friends had a better sense of taste than me and noticed the taste was different than what one could order the same thing at another restaurant was, but I didn't notice too much since my sense of taste is different than theirs.

This is definitely one of those "you're paying for the hype and vibes" type of spot. It's not bad, it's not phenomenal, it's good overall. And keeping in mind that everyone is different when it comes to their idea of what "expensive" is but, for me in this economy, unless I'm coming here as part of a group for a special occasion, I'm definitely opting for one of the many great modestly priced thai/Vietnamese spots in Irvine and Tustin.

This place has become one of our go-to spots whenever we're craving Vietnamese food, / Banh Xeo and once again, the food did not disappoint! FOOD: 5 Stars We ordered the Bánh Xèo and Pork Shank #6 and #7. The Bánh Xèo was absolutely delicious! Crispy, savory, and packed with flavor, with just a hint of coconut and turmeric. It comes loaded with shrimp, squid, and bean sprouts. Then comes the fun part: wrap it in rice paper with fresh herbs like mint, lettuce, Thai basil, and other greens. Add a little dipping sauce and--BOOM!--you've got yourself one seriously delicious roll. The pork shank was another winner! You can also wrap the tender pork in rice paper with fresh herbs and dip it into the fish sauce. Messy? Maybe. Delicious? Absolutely! Both dishes were scrumptiously delicious, and honestly, I have zero complaints about the food. ‍ SERVICE: 3 Stars Here's where the experience could use a little seasoning. Some of the staff can come across as unfriendly at times, and unfortunately, it can sometimes feel a bit rude. A little more warmth and friendliness would definitely make the dining experience even better. The restaurant can also get quite noisy, but that's understandable--it's a busy and popular spot! If you're looking for a quiet, romantic lunch or dinner where you can whisper sweet nothings across the table... this might not be the place. Also, be prepared to wait about 20-30 minutes for a table on weekends. It's popular for a reason! Also parking lots can be a crazy on the weekends. FINAL THOUGHTS Food: 5 Service: 3 Overall: 4 I'll definitely continue coming back because the food is that good! The service could definitely improve, but when the food is this delicious, it's hard to stay away. So grab your sister, family, or foodie friends, bring your appetite, and get ready to roll... literally! Happy eating!

It definitely has the traditional Vietnamese ingredients but with today's modern twist. The garlic noodle salmon was good quality. It's not as spicy as you'd think it looks despite the red pepper flakes. Plus Crispy salmon! The banh mi chao was our favorite. It comes with 1 large banh mi to dip all the sauce in. The beef was too chewy for me but still good flavor. I'd highly recommend the banh mi chao over all the others. The portion size is relatively small, but very carb heavy, so you should still be full. There are 2 separate male and female bathrooms. Clean interior and good spacing between tables, so you're not bumping into anyone.
