Absolutely LOVE the pho here! It is probably the best I've had. We eat here as often as we can!!

I'm just stopping by for lunch so all I'm trying is pho and the Vietnamese iced coffee. Broth is ok. Too much green and purple onion. Noodles are a bit more firm than I like but I like slightly over cooked soft mushy noodles. Cafe sua da (Viet iced coffee) is straight. Looks and feels like a typical Vietnamese pho shop in the Dallas area with the odd exception having sushi on the menu. read more

Secluded by the side of a building this place is still the best place to eat. The food here is great and they don't limit the portions of food you get either. The spring rolls and the noodles and beef are wonderful! The staff is very friendly and professional although they lack speaking English a bit. I discovered this place about 6 months ago. The Pho is great. I frequent it about once a week or more when I get a cold or the flu (because soup heals everything). I get the Pho with steak, meatball and Brisket along with the spring rolls with chicken, beef, or shrimp. I like how vietnamese peanut sauce is thicker and darker than Thai peanut sauce. I've also ordered the fried shrimp which is great. The filet with rice vermicelli noodles is very good too. The owner seems to be there all the time and she now knows me as a regular. Outside of the language gap she is very nice woman and tries to engage in conversation to the best she can. The Thai tea is very good too. If you like Pho this is a great place. BTW it is on the backside of the shopping plaza so it doesn't get overly crowded. One more thing, the prices seem to be more reasonable than most other asian restaurants. read more

If you are looking for authentic Vietnamese food this is the place. The broth is excellent. The stir fry is excellent. My favorite is the noodle soup With beef. Next would be the lemon grass Stir fry with beef or pork. They will customize your request. This is not a franchise place. It is my pick over all the others in the area. It is right off the tollway at park boulevard . The pricing is lower then others in the area and the Quality is better. I believe they have been in business here 7 to 8 years. read more

I called here tonight to see if they had delivery but they didn't, I told the woman on the phone that I wasnt feeling well and wanted some soup to soothe my cough. She was SUPER SWEET! She took her time with me suggesting ones that might me feel better. I settled on the Pho Beef (flank steak) IT WAS AMAZING!! The broth was perfect and yummy. I also got the Shrimp spring rolls and some fried rice which were both scrumptious as well. When I got there to pick it up, she made me some fresh ginger, fresh lime and honey tea that made me feel better almost immediately. The food here is awesome, the staff even better!!!! Shrimp spring rolls were bland and the only flavor they had was an off-taste. They were delivered in a matter of seconds after ordering so certainly not made-to-order. The pho broth was clean. Almost too clean. No fatty beef flavor and little spice(as others have said), I should've driven to Pho Crystal or waited to go to Miss Chi tomorrow. read more

We've been regulars for about 2 months now. The staff is so friendly, and the food is brought out fast. It's very clean, and usually there are booths open. We've also had takeout, and it held up well on the 20min drive. It was just as delicious when we ate it at home. Great place! read more

First time here, overall ok to me, 3 of us ordered the combination pho Large and a vermicelli rice noodle with beef and shrimp. While half finish my pho and I found a little "friend" on my soup..... : ( But the server fixed that for me so which is nice 4 stars. I come to this restaurant very often but today was a bad experience. The older waiter wasn't friendly and very aggressive when I was explaining what I wanted for my order. Best pho to take out, warm up on the stove and eat at home. They have the perfect take out portions separated out and it is delicious. I have never eaten at the restaurant, but I am sure that it would be a good experience also. Definitely get the tendon, brisket and filet. read more

Visited this restaurant today after having a intense craving for Asian food. I ordered the crispy egg roll and chicken fried rice. The crispy egg rolls were super delicious. Very crispy. They are long and thin and not too much batter. The fried rice was very very bland. I asked for a level 4 of spiciness but it wasn't spicy at all. I had to get extra sides of chili oil paste to make it spicy and give it flavor. I probably won't be back but if I ever do go back I would only purchase the crispy egg rolls. Pho is one of my favorite food groups, so I was truly disappointed with my meal here. I got the meatball pho. The broth lacked flavor and both looked and tasted like straight up beef broth. The meatballs...well I can barely even call it meatballs plural. When you added up the quartered meatball slices you got to 2 meatballs total, which normally would be disappointing, but the taste was so disappointing that I guess they knew what they were doing when they serve you so few. One of the few Vietnamese restaurants that actually has GENUINE VEGAN PHO! It has been so hard to find a restaurant that doesn't just throw tofu into chicken stock and call it "vegan" or "vegetarian". Great summer rolls and very fresh ingredients. Do yourself a favor and don't order takeout, because the containers are not big enough to mix all the broth and vegetables ;) Eat in the restaurant to fully enjoy the food and courteous staff. Ok. So as an Asian. I don't like this restaurant at all. I mean I ordered A2. Fish balls are tiny. I thought those are tofu at first time. Shrimps tasted like fake or under cooked. They brought food out so fast but doesn't taste good at all. Don't know why people have such high review on this. I love my bistro B. And every food here is over price. When my husband and I moved from Dallas to Plano, we had to find a new pho takeout place, and Pho Apple has not disappointed. Their spicy edamame is absolutely delicious. I could eat the entire container by myself. SO, so good if you like spicy food. We also love their chicken and vegetarian pho. Giving four stars since I once had some tough chicken in my bowl. The pho ga broth is clear and flavorful with a generous serving of noodles. My friend's seafood pho came in a large bowl. The accompanying basil, cilantro, sprouts, and lime were all fresh. The spring roll was bland, and needed the dipping sauce to add flavor, but otherwise fresh. Friendly and quick service. We also enjoyed the thai tea. My first time here I don't know if it's due to the parting and drinking I did the night before. But I was in search for soup. There was another restaurant I went to at first but did not stay due to it being packed since it is a football night. If your wanting to avoid places like that and enjoy great food with a calm atmosphere this is the place first time having Vietnamese food and it was good. read more

They have vegetable broth for all my vegetarians!!! Pho restaurants with veggie broth are rare but they come through every time.

Pho Apple is decent pho compared to everywhere, but great for the area. When I'm in the mood for pho, but don't feel like driving all the way to Pho Pasteur at Belt Line & Josey (which is often) I'm definitely hitting up Pho Apple. It's a great quick lunch spot as well. I love clean Asian restaurants that don't smell like incense. Pho Apple delivers on both! And they actually refill your water - Dooo Whaa??? It's a refreshing change from some other places who couldn't give a flying flip about giving you some more free water. If you order eggrolls, they come with the lettuce, pickled carrots and radish, cilantro & noodles. Yum! The shrimp spring rolls don't have that pork that I like though. I wish they had the fatty meat as an option for the pho but they do have that gelatinous tendon. The fatty meat is my favorite though. They give you a lot of meat! I even have some meat leftover sometimes which usually never happens. They are super nice and friendly here also. It never seems super busy. I keep meaning to try some other things besides the pho but really only come here when I'm craving some. If you live in the area, you should too! read more

Just found Pho Apple by chance and wanted to give it a try. It has not disappointed me yet and I have been there 4 times. Each time I tried something different and it was all great. The service is very good and everyone is very helpful and cheerful. The Pho is excellent with super high quality of vegetable, meat and noodles. The food is very reasonable priced and I would highly recommend you give it a try if you are in the neighborhood and need a Pho fix. read more

I'm always down to try new Pho places, since I like to support fellow Vietnamese businesses. Unfortunately, this place isn't the greatest. We came here on weekday and lunch was bustling--usually a good sign. We were seated and orders taken. I opted for the lunch combo that includes a regular size bowl of pho, eggrolls or springrolls, and drink for about $10. Pho restaurants aren't known for their service but you can always count on your food coming out pretty quick. Not here. We waited about 15 minutes for our food and my drink never came even though I reminded the waiter. 15 minutes isn't a long time but for a Pho place that's an eternity. The food was ok, better than Pho Que Huong but not worth a drive. I'm glad they have good business but they're not on my shortlist. read more

this may be the best vietnamese place ive been to in dallas. i got #20 for pick up. it might have been the best packed to go order ive ever had, better than maggianos even. the meats were so precisely wrapped, the soup was wrapped separately from the noodles. the veggies were extremely neatly packed too. blew me away. the taste was phenomenal. great great taste and a perfect blend of spice and seasonings. the cooks are old guys who are most likely from vietnam which would obviously make this badass. great great. the meat was wonderful, so was the tendon and the large was the perfect size. they also have an extra large size too. they need to charge a dollar more for everything. i definitely plan to go back. they have a large tv in the dining room too. Was in the Plano area getting some milk tea from Fat Straws and wanted some pho. So a friend and I decided to give Pho Apple a go. Spring rolls were a bit expensive compared to other Vietnamese restaurants.Started off with some nem nuong (grilled pork patty) and grilled pork spring rolls. Both were okay, but the nem nuong is no where near as good as the ones at Bistro B. Got the Pho Dac Biet and the broth was good, but I was hoping for a stronger tasting broth. I will give this place another go when I'm in Plano, but as of now, Pho Pasteur II still reigns supreme! read more
