Was expecting much more based off the reviews than what I'd received. My order was for delivery. The broth was lukewarm and boring, and the accompanying beef and chicken was tasteless and bland. The noodles were so tightly packed together, I had to use a knife to cut them into chunks. The packaging for delivery is pathetic. Please use and actual bowl, not a narrow / tall styrofoam container which dissipates heat too quickly. I guess it's also too much to include an actual wide dipping spoon for the broth. Plano, I feel sorry for you if this is the best Pho you have at your disposal.. cause that's exactly where this meal belongs. read more

This wasn't bad it just want good either. I ordered the grilled pork spring roll to start with and it was pretty bland. Usually the grilled pork will carry a lot of flavor but this one was lacking. I looked at the different pho options and I typically order the rare beef at other places. I couldn't find it on this menu so I asked the waitress if their round steak was the rare kind that then cooks in your broth. She nodded and said yes. I'm pretty sure she didn't understand a word I said because when it came out it was completely cooked steak. The broth was pretty weak and needed to be doctored up a good bit. I honestly didn't feel like this place lived up to all of the hype. The pho didn't taste any better than any other pho place I've been. The shrimp spring rolls were very bland, service not so great. My husband had vermicelli with beef, the sauce wasn't that flavorful. I actually like VBistro waaaay better! read more

My favorite pho spots are in the Garland/Richardson area, and I've been having a hard time finding a good go to pho spot in West Plano. Pho Apple is that place. I've only had the pho and some appetizers, but the broth is delicious and everything else that usually comes standard is up to par too. Also, their service is great - especially for an Asian place (I can say that bc I'm Asian). At most pho places, I have to get up and go to someone or fill up my water myself. Not here. A very clean, crowded lunch spot. I had the vegan pho and it was excellent! Just make sure to ask for the "small" size if you are planning on eating again in the next week or so! The waitress didn't ask me what size and they gave me the large one. It was incredibly good, but enough food to feed a small army. Nice place to get Pho, I live in Maryland and googled Vietnamese food in the Frisco area since I was here for work and I love me a good Pho. I got the Curry Chicken Pho (which I have never seen in any of the Vietnamese restaurants in the Maryland area). I got the Medium spicy kind and the soup was excellent. Very flavourful sort of like the Mullogotawny soup. I guess this soup was created for the strong south asian community in the area. I also tried the Grilled pork Sandwich (Banh mi) which was delicous as well. Baked French baguette stuffed with grilled pork, chili sauce, mayo, pickeled carrots,cucumber, cilantro and some other goodies . If I'm ever in this area again I will definately be back for the Curry Chicken Pho. read more

Was honestly a little disappointed with this place. I had the springs rolls and the seafood pho. The spring rolls were amazing and the peanut sauce was delicious. The pho on the other hand was quite disappointing, the broth wasn't flavorful, and I had two baby shrimp and two fish balls in the entire pho (which is crazy!). I had major craving for vermicelli dish so I decided to try this place out. Our waiter was a Vietnamese guy with very heavy accent so it was difficult to understand him at times, but service was still great overall. I ordered the grilled pork and egg roll vermicelli dish with jasmine limeade. I normally order water at restaurants but when I took a sip of my boyfriend's limeade that he ordered, I instantly fell in love that I had to order one for myself. Their jasmine limeade is a limeade that's not tart but perfectly pretty sweet with hint of jasmine flavor. I thought those two combination didn't sound pleasing but oh man it was one of the best drinks I've ever had. I wish they had boba as well since it's a Vietnamese place and so that I could add it to the limeade. The vermicelli dish was my very first one ever and it was just as good as I imagined. It didn't have the wow factor as the pork looked pretty thin but proportions of meat to noodles were okay and the entire dish filled me up perfectly. The egg rolls that it came with had nice peppery taste to it that I liked. Overall I think I would comeback to this place just so I can order the limeade again and try their pho next time! read more

Great Pho. You get a huge portion of Thai basil-very fresh, jalapenos, a fresh lime, and sprouts. All the necessary trappings for an excellent bowl of Pho. The staff is always super friendly and very attentive. I travel for a living so I've eaten more than my share of pho in many different states. I got the my usual items to see how they compare....shrimp spring rolls and the pho dac biet (combination beef pho). The spring rolls were fresh but similar to other places. The pho had a very clear broth when it came to the table. At first I thought it was a mistake. But after a taste, it was pretty good. It was not oily, and not overly salty. The quality of the meats were good but I thought the quantity was a little lacking, would have loved a few more pieces. It came with a plate of veggies, like any other place. The place was clean, average in size for a pho restaurant, and the staff was friendly. I got my food super quick too, in about 5 minutes. Found this place coming out of Wally World and, being a pho lover, was curious if this place could win me over. Bam, another hidden gem on my go-to list. The pho is EXCELLENT! Great broth, plenty of meat for a carnivore such as myself and super fresh accents(basil, cilantro, etc.). The springs rolls taste fresh, esp. the grilled pork. The food comes out relatively quickly, and there's always little to no oils at the surface of the soup. They have a clean taste. The only problem I've ever had was during my most recent visit where the noodles were somewhat overdone, so they just melted in my mouth. Other than that, everything else was fine. A plate of spring rolls is always a good appetizer to start off with. Edit: The shrimp in their vermicelli was overcooked when my dad ordered it yesterday. In his words, "It felt like chewing on rubber." I didn't try any, so I'll take his word for it since he's a restaurant owner and chef. Excellent service. My 11yr old loved the beef noodle soup with steak. The chicken fried rice was great. Hubby got the streak fried rice-extra spicy and he said it's perfect (he'd picky). I've also ordered my pho to go several times and the pho quality is still great. Just a tip for to-go orders: ask them to cook the meat AND the bean sprouts for you. Noodles are a bit more firm than I like but I like slightly over cooked soft mushy noodles. Cafe sua da (Viet iced coffee) is straight. Secluded by the side of a building this place is still the best place to eat. The food here is great and they don't limit the portions of food you get either. The spring rolls and the noodles and beef are wonderful! The staff is very friendly and professional although they lack speaking English a bit.
