I know this is a chain restaurant and by far this location is the best out of all of them! They are doing it right! I was so hangry, came and got some chicken and rice, it came fast and quick, service was good, always had me hydrated filling up my water cup quick! The food videos playing on the screens made it even better when I there on a solo date! Food was so flavorful and I just love their hot broth that came on the side

Upon entering we were warmly welcomed (by the owner) and she quickly seated in a booth in the back. Condiments (Sriracha, hoisin, chili oil, pepper and soy sauce) were conveniently available at each table and clean utensils/napkins were later given. To drink, I ordered the passion fruit green tea. The tea was ice cold, sweet and refreshing. For my entree, I opted for the Special Vegetarian Noodle Soup (basically vegetarian pho). Lol The broth was PHO-nomenal, and it stayed piping hot the entire time. If you're vegetarian, a whole page in the menu is dedicated for us hahaha There are many vegetarian items so I'll definitely be back!

Wonderful place! Mrs. Yelper's bowl of shrimp Pho was tasty and full of flavor. I got something with fat noodles (my preference), Banh Lon Xi, which is Vietnamese for BUY THIS. Not cheap at $17,99, but you can tell the quality is there. Before we got here I thought this place was a dive. It's actually clean, well lit, and well organized. We will be back!

went to try their pork platter and was super dry, hard and thin. seems like its been sitting in oil for a while. cant speak for the rest of the menu as i saw some other dishes that looked pretty good but this plate is no bueno for me. rice was a little stiff but the little salad was good, no broth to sip on either like the other vietnamese places.

used love love this spot back when i was going to school. i was even a regular 2019-2021. i loved coming here to get the crispy fried chow mein noodles with vegetables, vegetables egg rolls, and plain pho (the broth was phenomenal). sadly i stopped going here because my favorite sever said he was leaving and there was going to be a new owner. i have only been here a couple of times since then. every visit is a reminder that it is not what it used to be. the egg rolls are from when i visited last year and they did not taste good. it was too oily for me but they still had the same side salad as before. pho is also from when i came back in 2019 (the good days lol). my most recent visit was on friday. i am still not impressed. they now changed their menu to have sea food boil options since the last time i went. i feel like they have too much on their menu that they are not focused on preparing the food as nice quality as before. and the prices are wayyyy to much for what you get. we paid almost $60 and only one of us got a full meal. we ordered three appetizers to share and all waters. food: -crispy fried shrimp wonton was mostly more oil than anything (even the plate was full of oil). the size of them was disappointing too. first bite was just wonton. the shrimp seemed just boiled (not in salted water) and it was maybe 1/4 of a shrimp in each wonton. had to drench it in sauce and eat it in one bite to get the whole flavors. 3/10 -tofu spring rolls were alright. the flavors weren't really there but i didn't expect much out of tofu. the back seemed messy like they only wanted to get the presentation right. the rice paper was all crumbled up and hard to bite through. only got a few points for the good crunch and the peanuts. 5/10 -ordered the grilled pork spring rolls but think we were given the grilled pork paste rolls. i believe it was made with spam! this was better than the rest of the appetizer from i was told. had to be eaten as a full meal since other food didn't come. 6/10 -vegetarian fried rice was the best out of everything. the person who ordered it really liked it and said they were happy with that. 8/10 service: this has also gone downhill...before there was a regular server this man would work all tables by himself until one other person came. he always was on top of everything. now there are multiple people and our service was horrible. waters were never refilled, they never once asked how we were, never came back for one of us to order, and never brought a dish to the table but wanted to charge it still. ambiance: it was fine. nothing really special the decor was very modern and lighting was fine. music and tv playing. what didn't impress me was the lack of cleanliness. we were sat on the left side booth next to the table and the wall and items on wall were all filthy. my friend facing the outside also told me the cashier person kept poking their nose which made her lose her appetite. two stars for my good memories of this place but i probably will not be back. pho 81 on van buren and and pho star bowl are better with portions and flavor/quality.

This is by far THE BEST pho I've ever had! I ordered takeout for the veggie pho and the portions are SO BIG so I don't mind paying the price. Veggies were super fresh, and the broth is SO DELICIOUS. The service was fast, they're really friendly and I got my food quickly. Beautiful decor so if you want to eat inside that's definitely a plus. 10/10 recommend! I also finished the whole thing which I don't usually do lol (it's that great!)

So I have this place a try. Really was looking forward to trying out a new place. However I will not be going back again. For starters, the man who took my order over the phone was very short and unfriendly. Then when I went in to pick up my food, the man who gave me my order (probably the same one from the phone) WAS NOT WEARING A MASK. WE ARE IN COVID AND YOU ARE A FOOD BUSINESS. WEAR A MASK. Then I got home to try the food and it was less than good. Not even average. The meat tasted old. The banh mi sandwich was barely filled. No utensils. And the chicken smelled off. Came today for a grill pork and egg rolls noodle. My first impression about the restaurant was the smell. Smell like sewer or something die. Afterwards when I sat down, I started getting itchy and realized I was being bitten by mosquitoes. I have told the waiter about mosquitoes in the restaurant and he confirmed that he saw 1 earlier that flew around me. After I when home, my stomach started hurting and I had diarrhea. Recommend this restaurant need to change the hygiene policy. read more

This place always charges me for a large when I specifically asked for medium . If they don't have the medium I don't understand why they don't just remove that from their menu. This has happened to me every time I come in , I decided to ask why he kept charging me for a large. He then proceeded to tell me there is only one size and that I couldn't do anything about it. Kind of sucks when you don't get what you ordered. The man that's usually at the front desk never wears a mask nor do the cooks THE ONES MAKING YOUR FOOD ! The pho here is good but it doesn't feel good knowing they're charging you for a large not a medium! This spot has dine which I'm not sure if that's even possible right now! One of the best Pho spots I've been to. The place is always clean and the staff is very nice and friendly. I usually come at night with my wife so there's never really a wait. My favorite item on the menu is the Shrimp Pho. The Strawberry smoothie with Boba is delicious too. read more

My husband and I have been here many times and it never disappoints! We've tried the chicken pho, rare steak pho, ban mi sandwiches, shrimp in egg roll wrap, broken egg dishes and today we tried the French fries with meat and onions. Every single plate is packed with flavor and freshly made. Very clean eating area and they are always playing good movies/shows/sports on the tv. Everyone who works here is super friendly. This is the best pho spot in Riverside by far! read more

What a nice little place! It was chilly outside and I needed to warm up, so their delicious shrimp pho really hit the spot. The service was great and friendly and my meal did not disappoint. The place was very clean, including the bathrooms, and had a nice vibe. They also seem to have an extensive vegetarian menu so I will definitely be back with my vegetarian child. Side note: whatever they do to the water makes it extra delicious... I haven't chugged so much water in a long time, LOL. Thanks Pho Anh! read more

Let me start off by saying this is hands down not only the best tasting in riverside, but the best staff I've ever experienced. My best friend and I come here once a week at least. Sometimes when it is slow, they play Netflix shows for us. Tonight we came in after Vegas, and my friend messed up her neck on the flight home. The staff literally brought out icy hot strips for her neck. This place isn't just pho.. it's phamily. read more

I love this place! Fresh vegetarian pho with fresh ingredients yummy broth. They're chili oil is very tasty and their tofu springs rolls are a must. My husband loves their combination pho. Excellent customer service. Definitely a must try if you're in the riverside area! read more

Came back for more delicious pho at pho anh. Love their broth so much such flavor and not salty like most places. Tofu spring rolls are absolutely delicious , the peanut sauce is so good and the employees are very helpful in any questions you may have about the menu and have some really good options they recommend to try out. Definetly coming back again soon . Place is clean and is now allowing dine in service thankfully !! read more

On a cold day there is nothing better than some pho. Pho Anh is the spot. They not only seat you immediately but they are prompt with our order. The food is made fresh and the flavor says it all. Highly recommend the shrimp spring rolls their sauce is bomb!! Their decor is very nice. read more

This is the best Vietnamese restaurant in all of Riverside. wife and kids love it! All their prices are amazing, it's family-owned so it's very intimate, and very comfortable. I really enjoy the phő here my issue is I called for dine in and they made me do carry out while two vietnamese/Asian walked in after me and they were allowed to dine in... also customer service is very slow the cashier was on Instagram live watching some female while I said hello and waited to pay. read more

Ok, where to start..... my wife ordered the Teriyaki Chicken and I ordered the Cajan Seafood Bag with peeled shrimp. They had a big sign that said 2lbs get one free so I said lets try the shrimp. When the young man came to take my order and I told him what I wanted he politely told me that this special was no longer available! I asked why is the big banner up in the front offering this? His response was "I've been trying to get the owner to take it down but he just hasn't". Well I settled for a couple of lbs of shrimp with corn and potatoes. I asked for Iced tea with lemon and sweet n low. I got a diluted tea with lime and suger! Doesnt anyone around hear know the difference between lemons and limes? My food came first which I thought was strange but upon inspection I got nice sized shrimp that were still in their shell! Not peeled! The server again apologized and instead of changing it to what I ordered he said he would drop the price a dollar per pound like its something special, it was supposed to be that price anyway for unpealed shrimp. As I started to peal a shrimp I was thinking this is rather hard to get the shell off. Mind you this is a favorite of mine and I've had this many times before. These shrimp were not quite cooked all the way! The very last bit of cooking that makes the shell separate from the meat was cut short and on a few I found the meat was still a little clear and soft. I found a few that were cooked completely but most were not. The corn was cold in the center as well and the sauce was very watery not thick at all like most cajon sauces. When my wife recieved her food we found it was plain chicken over cooked with no sauce at all. We had to ask for Teriyaki sauce. A special note, bring your own hand wipes because they will not offer you a bib or hand wipes to clean your hands and face. I have never been in a restaurant that served this type of food that didn't off these basic amenities! At the end it was expensive for what you get with poor service and poor presentation with partially uncooked food! Not going back! As for a great Pho Restaurant in the I.E. head to T-Pho in Fontana on Sierra Ave south of the 10 you'll love it. read more

I've been coming to Pho Anh since they've opened here in Riverside for a Year and a half. Everyone is very polite and the food is absolutely delicious. I've brought all my family and grandkids and everyone says , this food is so yummy!!! Pham is so amazing and sweet.... If you've never tried the food here you should. We started with the vegetarian egg rolls, which were delicious and perfectly crispy. We ordered chicken pho and rare steak pho. Both dishes were outstanding, with tender meat and fresh ingredients. The broth in each bowl was rich and savory. One of the best parts about this place is that it's open late on Sundays, which is the main reason we chose it since our usual spot closes early.
