You can tell they're working really hard, and I was honestly impressed by how big the menu is for a restaurant being run out of someone's home. We got the fire brisket and the pork skewers, and both were really good! The pork skewers were definitely my favorite. You could tell they were freshly charred, and they tasted amazing with the sauce. For drinks, we got the Vietnamese coffee and Thai tea. The Vietnamese coffee was a little bitter and super strong, which is usually how Vietnamese coffee is, but still good! The Thai tea was really good too. I even watered mine down a little as I drank it so I could get more out of it, which I swear I do every time I get Thai tea at a Vietnamese restaurant The portions were pretty generous too. Some people might think the prices are a little high, but considering it's a small at-home restaurant and we brought home enough leftovers to basically have another meal, I thought it was pretty worth it. They also have such a beautiful view overlooking the Corona hills, which makes the whole backyard dining experience even better. Definitely check their hours before making the drive because they're only open on certain days and for a limited amount of time. We got lucky and there was no line when we went! Also, make sure you have Zelle, Venmo, or cash ready for payment. Such a cute hidden spot and a really unique experience. I'd definitely come back, especially during the winter when I feel like the backyard setting and a hot bowl of pho would be even cozier!

I don't hate this restaurant, and I really appreciate the willingness to incorporate a vegan friendly menu. However, the pho and banh mi missed the mark for me. I think I'd just order different items next time, like some of the saucy stir fry plates instead.

Now I know that even if they don't ask, tell them what I'd prefer anyway. Lastly, the portions are big enough to bring leftovers home which is a big deal for me since eating out can be expensive. As for the restaurant itself, it's modern and clean. It's because the door is made of glass and unlike the other windows it doesn't have signs to block glare. When I was about to leave, I told them there was no more toilet paper in the restroom and they went out of their way to stop what they were doing to get more for me. Apparently, the cabinet inside the restroom was empty, so one of the employees had to call another employee for help and they found more in another cabinet outside the restroom. I quite enjoyed my experience here and just writing this I'm already craving more of the food I had ordered.

I visited this pho restaurant and it exceeded my expectations! The broth was so flavorful that I didn't have to add much to it, which is a rare for me. We started with the vegetarian egg rolls, which were delicious and perfectly crispy. We ordered chicken pho and rare steak pho. Both dishes were outstanding, with tender meat and fresh ingredients. The broth in each bowl was rich and savory. One of the best parts about this place is that it's open late on Sundays, which is the main reason we chose it since our usual spot closes early. The service was also top-notch. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring we had everything we needed. This will definitely be our new go-to spot for pho. If I went to Hope International University or Fullerton State, or live nearby, I would make this my daily lunch spot.
