I know this is a chain restaurant and by far this location is the best out of all of them! They are doing it right! I was so hangry, came and got some chicken and rice, it came fast and quick, service was good, always had me hydrated filling up my water cup quick! The food videos playing on the screens made it even better when I there on a solo date! Food was so flavorful and I just love their hot broth that came on the side

Upon entering we were warmly welcomed (by the owner) and she quickly seated in a booth in the back. Condiments (Sriracha, hoisin, chili oil, pepper and soy sauce) were conveniently available at each table and clean utensils/napkins were later given. To drink, I ordered the passion fruit green tea. The tea was ice cold, sweet and refreshing. For my entree, I opted for the Special Vegetarian Noodle Soup (basically vegetarian pho). Lol The broth was PHO-nomenal, and it stayed piping hot the entire time. If you're vegetarian, a whole page in the menu is dedicated for us hahaha There are many vegetarian items so I'll definitely be back!

Wonderful place! Mrs. Yelper's bowl of shrimp Pho was tasty and full of flavor. I got something with fat noodles (my preference), Banh Lon Xi, which is Vietnamese for BUY THIS. Not cheap at $17,99, but you can tell the quality is there. Before we got here I thought this place was a dive. It's actually clean, well lit, and well organized. We will be back!

went to try their pork platter and was super dry, hard and thin. seems like its been sitting in oil for a while. cant speak for the rest of the menu as i saw some other dishes that looked pretty good but this plate is no bueno for me. rice was a little stiff but the little salad was good, no broth to sip on either like the other vietnamese places.

used love love this spot back when i was going to school. i was even a regular 2019-2021. i loved coming here to get the crispy fried chow mein noodles with vegetables, vegetables egg rolls, and plain pho (the broth was phenomenal). sadly i stopped going here because my favorite sever said he was leaving and there was going to be a new owner. i have only been here a couple of times since then. every visit is a reminder that it is not what it used to be. the egg rolls are from when i visited last year and they did not taste good. it was too oily for me but they still had the same side salad as before. pho is also from when i came back in 2019 (the good days lol). my most recent visit was on friday. i am still not impressed. they now changed their menu to have sea food boil options since the last time i went. i feel like they have too much on their menu that they are not focused on preparing the food as nice quality as before. and the prices are wayyyy to much for what you get. we paid almost $60 and only one of us got a full meal. we ordered three appetizers to share and all waters. food: -crispy fried shrimp wonton was mostly more oil than anything (even the plate was full of oil). the size of them was disappointing too. first bite was just wonton. the shrimp seemed just boiled (not in salted water) and it was maybe 1/4 of a shrimp in each wonton. had to drench it in sauce and eat it in one bite to get the whole flavors. 3/10 -tofu spring rolls were alright. the flavors weren't really there but i didn't expect much out of tofu. the back seemed messy like they only wanted to get the presentation right. the rice paper was all crumbled up and hard to bite through. only got a few points for the good crunch and the peanuts. 5/10 -ordered the grilled pork spring rolls but think we were given the grilled pork paste rolls. i believe it was made with spam! this was better than the rest of the appetizer from i was told. had to be eaten as a full meal since other food didn't come. 6/10 -vegetarian fried rice was the best out of everything. the person who ordered it really liked it and said they were happy with that. 8/10 service: this has also gone downhill...before there was a regular server this man would work all tables by himself until one other person came. he always was on top of everything. now there are multiple people and our service was horrible. waters were never refilled, they never once asked how we were, never came back for one of us to order, and never brought a dish to the table but wanted to charge it still. ambiance: it was fine. nothing really special the decor was very modern and lighting was fine. music and tv playing. what didn't impress me was the lack of cleanliness. we were sat on the left side booth next to the table and the wall and items on wall were all filthy. my friend facing the outside also told me the cashier person kept poking their nose which made her lose her appetite. two stars for my good memories of this place but i probably will not be back. pho 81 on van buren and and pho star bowl are better with portions and flavor/quality.

This is by far THE BEST pho I've ever had! I ordered takeout for the veggie pho and the portions are SO BIG so I don't mind paying the price. Veggies were super fresh, and the broth is SO DELICIOUS. The service was fast, they're really friendly and I got my food quickly. Beautiful decor so if you want to eat inside that's definitely a plus. 10/10 recommend! I also finished the whole thing which I don't usually do lol (it's that great!)

The food is good here but the service is horrible Me and my daughter went here and we were the only ones when we walked him the guy for our appetizers and then once two couples walked in ordered everyone's food then came back and got our orders we literally got our food last. We ordered two milk teas taro and chai and they were horrible way to sweet it just wasn't good but the pho and ramen was good. Service definitely needs work read more

Nice clean place..the menu had a lot of options. I ordered beef pho and it was ok. I asked for a side of onions and bean sprouts cooked. There was a few pieces of onions and hardly any cilantro or green onions. Sorry I forgot to take a pic. The bowl was pretty big. I added some sliced onions to my pho. I ate some and spite some out. The side of onions were pickled with onions. That was disgusting and changed the taste of the soup. So disappointing. I've never had extra white onions on the side and it was soaked in vinegar. I think that should be mentioned because my pho didn't taste good anymore after I added those onions. Mine you I've ordered pho at least 50 times in my lifetime and never had I've had pickled vinegar onions. They were Asian people making the food. Who would want to add a vinegar taste to their Pho anyways. So for those onions liver... beware that this may happened. read more

We just moved to Riverside from LA. My husband is the one who likes to experiment with new locations. He loves this place and so he wanted to have lunch there for Father's Day. Don't let the big bowls fool you it's filled with just water down broth. The brisket had a funky taste to it. Not to mention it was like chewing on a peace of leather. They are way overpriced for what they are serving. read more

Food is good but way over priced. And on top of it the prices on the menu are incorrect. There has been a raise on the menu items that don't reflect what is rung up. They don't give you a receipt til after you pay so it's done in a very sneaky way.so you have no idea there has been a change on your bill versus what is on the menu. Bad, bad , bad business! Very disappointed in how this business is run. I won't be back, simply because it is over priced and they are somewhat shady on how the run the business. What a shame. Not to mention the AC was shut off so it was very hot inside. Not comfortable at all. By the way they didn't want to give me the managers name, hmmm what's that all about?! read more

The broth is excellent; it's delicate but not lacking in flavor at all. The chicken looked like 100% white meat (yay, for healthy lean meats). Plenty of basil and didn't skip on the noodles. However, the real treat was the spring roll. The perfect combination of chewy, crunchy, cold, and fresh greens with the best sauce I have had in a long time. And while spring rolls are usually chicken, these were shrimp and beef at the same price I usually pay for chicken. The customer service was excellent. Ricky is very engaged with his customers. I will definitely be back in the next week. read more

If you're looking for a place that has a variety of your favorite Asian cuisines, this is the place to be at. I am a fan of their pho here. I usually get their shrimp or chicken option and I've always been satisfied. They also have a very tasty fried rice and they serve Cajun shrimp which is to die for. Their drink options are amazing and I personally am impressed with their coconut water that is so refreshing. I can't wait to go back! read more

From the Press-Enterprise 5/7/21: Pho Anh, at 5646 Van Buren Blvd. in Riverside, was inspected May 6 and received a failing grade of 74/C with four critical violations. There were several rodent droppings on top of the dishwasher; the person in charge said they were from rodent activity about two months ago. Cooked noodles and boba were left out at room temperature. Two large pots of pho cooked the night before still hadn't cooled to a safe temperature. And food-contact surfaces weren't clean, including the meat slicer, which was wiped with a dirty towel but not cleaned, and a knife that an employee dropped on the ground and didn't wash. This was the restaurant's second failed inspection since 2020 so it now faces an administrative hearing. read more

Probably the worst experience i had in a while i order two #57 steak and rice and they took 30 mins to come out and when it came out the rice and meat were cold. The steak was super blant where i had to put alot soy sauce. Also forgot our soups. Then we had some people next us that ordered the same steak dish and it came out sizzling hot unlike ours. We also ordered the crawfish and shrimp , clam combo . And its to your surprise it came out cold and crawfish taste old. Im not coming back again read more

This place used to be soo good but as of lately there seems to be a sudden decline in quality of both food and staff. The staff are kinda rude compared to the kind of service they've provided in the past. They've taken certain ingredients out of dishes and have raised the prices on those ingredients so if you add them it jacks up the price. The beef broth is cloudier and doesn't really taste like beef, maybe it's boxed? I don't know but I know I'm definitely gonna be hitting up pho DJ instead of this place from now on. read more

I came here once a week to have my fave number 91 which is the veggie lemongrass tofu bowl with vermicelli is really good...the guy here Phan he knows me whenever i come in and have 2 glasses of water for me, his customer service is on point...the other workers here are nice too. Had such a horrible experience at this location. If I could give no stars I would. The manager and the only female working in the front are so rude and have horrible customer service. The manager kept telling me about they need to make profit when I addressed my problems to him. They all refused to give me names and made me and my table feel very uncomfortable. I do recommend this place for Pho! The broth and meat was good. The noodle portion was not as expected when you order their special. They could put more noodle in their special "Large" bowls. So far the only Pho place I would go eat Pho in Riverside, CA!! read more
