Got the green papaya salad and vegetarian pho Vegetarian section was clearly marked with plenty of options and portion sizes were large - enough to share family style Pho was ok, broth was a bit too salty but papaya salad was great and had an amazing sauce Decor is super cute! Good place to grab dinner after playing mini-golf or getting groceries in the strip mall next door
i LOVE this place i go here AT LEAST once a month. love their service and food! it's such an amazing spot and i love inviting my friends to come try out their food:) i love their brisket pho but their bahn mi, spring roll, and pork chops are AMAZING as well!
As always enjoyed the food and will always come back unless they really get bad which I do not see any time soon Place is clean and employees are friendly and so is the service which is really good Not load and very relaxing We will be back
Spectacular Vietnamese made with love. My wonton soup, bursting with handmade wontons and silky stock was brimming with succulent veggies and made with authenticity. My pork fried rice became part of my dreams. Woven with egg, delicious rice and succulent pork. I'm hungry.
P1 the pho in hot stone bowl. This js 5 stars given it has 2 big oxtails 1 to 2 short ribs and beef tripes, raw beef slides and flank (not overcooked or dry) it's about $25 and really enough fpr 2 people. I tried crabmeat noodles, i was very disappointed. After almost 2 hours ride i had high hope to try it. The broth itself is very bland, i don't see crab meat so probably mixed into the pork meatballs. Very little crab flavor nor shrimps paste flavor. The meatballs with crab are very dry, shrimp balls also very dry and tough (definitely not made by only shrimp). There are also small cubes of dry tofu in the bowl, tomatoes, and Vietnamese spam. I ate about 1/4 of it. Fried egg roll doesn't have much pork and don't have wood ears. Seems like it's filled with noodles taro... not the traditional egg roll i prefer. Other dishes like rare beed pho and P2 had good feedback from my family. Finally the steam rice roll is good, i only had 1/2 pieces and it's gone. Not to mention i love their Vietnamese coffee and durian milkshake! The restaurant is spacious and clean. Service is good and parking is easy.
If you haven't tried this place.....you're missing out! The restaurant is in a strip mall alongside ShopRite. If you aren't looking for this place. You can drive right past it. I order #P2 Pho (Beef brisket, tendons, tripe). The soup is tasty. Usually most places have a big bowl of pho but mainly just soup and very little of anything else. Not this place. They jammed pack the whole bowl with stuff. I loved that they served the freshest ingredients. I would have to say this is probably the best Pho in Jersey! If you're in the area and wanna try a new place out. Give this place a try
My new fav pho spot in NJ. Huge portions. Quality ingredients. Delicious pho broth. Fast friendly service. It was so good that we ate here two days in a row. Really love their p1 and p2 pho as well as their crab meat noodle soup. We also tried their appetizer samplers which was so good. It came with grilled pork skewers, fried egg rolls, shrimp wontons, summer rolls, and some beef wrapped in a veggie. Def worth it. I can't wait to go back.
Dinner for four on a Tuesday night. Started w some chicken wings, tasty and freshly fried - too hot to hold. Then two beef phos, one vermicelli with egg rolls and a banh mi sandwich with roast pork and a ethnic dish which was water spinach w bots of tofu. And finally a crepe with shrimp and veg. Fresh veg, right temps, attentive service and a pitcher of water. Fresh basil, cilantro was good too. Nice place, parking inside a strip of stores w a ShopRite. Easy to get to, will come back
Came here last night for dinner. The place was a decent size and the service was great. We ordered appetizers and entrees. Both came out very quick and were delicious. I'd highly recommend this place if it Pho you're looking for!
I started hitting the gym again. On my first day after my two hour workout, I went home and ate a salad. While working out on my second day all I could think about is FOOD and what I should eat afterwards. I am not big on pho but it was what I was craving. Disappointed that my favorite spot is closed on Tuesdays I decided to check this place out. Here is what I ordered: - fresh lemonade with club soda - deep fried Vietnamese egg rolls - pho with meatballs For me it's all about the broth and the texture of the noodles. It was a 10/10!I inhaled my bowl. A fricken salad after a workout just doesn't cut it. Boss Lady was very hospitable, attentive and came by our table numerous times to ask how we were enjoying our meal. Will definitely return. Plenty of parking.
Pho soup was delicious. Ordered w some spring rolls. We tried the sugar cane juice. If you love sugar cane juice then great. Next time will be pairing w some Thai ice tea.
Pho Anh Dao has always been a college staple, serving up hot bowls of pho that hit the spot. This time, we tried their BBQ pork and spring rolls on vermicelli noodles (bun thut nuong). It wasn't as flavorful as Pho Today's, but it was good for the pricepoint. Still, we love the service here! Ordered: Brisket Pho, Pork Bun Thit Nuong
After running errands in the area, it was lunchtime and I needed some pho for this cold day. My husband mentioned that this was his go-to Viet place back in his college days so we stopped in on a Saturday at around 1 PM. To start, we ordered the classic banh mi. It was a pretty solid banh mi for a restaurant, because they're usually hit or miss. The bread was fresh and lightly toasted. Normally, we would have ordered spring rolls but I saw they use regular spring roll paper instead of rice paper (IMO, the easy way out, especially since you can make these ahead). For my main I ordered the combo pho. Maybe I ordered the wrong one but I thought it would come with some rare beef, which it didn't. Other than that, the broth was good, which is the most important part of a pho. Hubby had the grilled pork chop with shredded pork, egg patty, and egg on white rice. The pork chop was really good. Even though it was thin, which can be easy to overcook, it was perfect here. Next time, I think I'll try the tiny rice noodle dishes or cold vermicelli bowls.

Casual place for a quick bite especially on a cold rainy day! The service was really fast. The pho was decent compared to some other places near by and would come back to try some other dishes. The egg rolls could have used some more flavor and come with do chưa and more than once piece of lettuce. read more

We came to Pho Anh Dao on probably the hottest & most humid days in August for a hot, tasty, warm bowl of pho goodness. This was our first time at this Vietnamese restaurant and we enjoyed the authenticity and teamwork amongst the staff. Our waiter and other workers were constantly checking in and ensuring that we were doing okay, which I appreciated. Food was great and tasted like your grandmother made the broth! We ordered the pho deluxe & pho tai. Bowls were a bit pricey between $13-15 for a bowl but still tasted great! We also ordered a pork chop to go, which was easy to order with the staff. It's hard for me to review Pho Anh Dao because it is my first time having Vietnamese cuisine, so I have nothing to compare it to. The service was friendly and quick. Many of the dishes are on the menu as their Vietnamese name but the descriptions are in English and they have conveniently numbered everything so that you don't have to be afraid of pronouncing anything wrong. I started with the lemonade and club soda. I've never had these two things mixed before but it was delicious and refreshing, a great alternative to having a syrupy soda. For my meal I had the brisket Pho. There was a lot of meat and noodles in it but for me, the pho didn't feel like enough for a meal. I have a big appetite and I'm not a huge (clear) soup lover, so this was bad ordering on my part, but I was curious to see what pho was like because it has become increasingly popular. I think if I was to get pho again I'd get something on the side as well to fill me up a little more. What I do like is the bean sprouts, jalepenos and cilantro come on the side, so you get to determine your heat level and also whether or not you want cilantro and bean sprouts. What really won it for me and will absolutely get me to return was my friend's roasted pork banh mi, omg talk about delicious! It was so flavorful from the sweet and savory roasted pork to the tangy veggies! It was also a very generous size and not expensive at all especially considering portion. I was truly envious of her dish! I would definitely return, and now that I am a little more familiar with some of the menu items, I have no doubt my next visit will be even better. 5/5 read more

We had a late lunch at Pho Anh Dao on our last visit to Edison. We got goi cuon (rolls with shrimp and pork) for an appetizer, and it was a light and fresh start to the meal. I wasn't in the mood for pho, although I did try my husband's, and the broth was rich and flavorful. I got one of my favorite non-pho Vietnamese dishes, bun thit nuong cha gio (vermicelli noodle bowl with grilled pork and spring rolls), and really enjoyed their version. Portion size was generous, the spring rolls were nice and crispy, and all of the ingredients were really fresh. Service was friendly, and they had a really spacious dining room and lots of parking. I would return to try more whenever we go to Edison again. read more

I was wanting some hot soup because of the chilly weather. Very flavorful pho but clean broth! I had the pho with oxtail from the specials. The oxtail meat was a little chewy, but cooked well. Also, got Vietnamese coffee which is awesome. I got it without ice so I can drink it all tomorrow morning instead at night. They didn't have the original sriracha which was a bit disappointing. Stopped by on Tuesday afternoon for a quick lunch after doing a Yelp search to find a Pho restaurant we haven't been to and this gem popped up... We were quickly seated and served a pot of hot tea upon request while we looked over the menu. We ordered the #24 Combo Pho that has rare beef, brisket, flank, tendon & tripe $11 and I saw some banh mi sandwiches on a poster that weren't listed on the menu so I inquired and was told the selections and decided on the Pork Banh Mi $6 The soup was served very quickly with its usual accompaniments... that wasn't my order but I was told it was so good I had to have a taste... the broth had great flavor it was a little spicy but sweet too... really nice. Then my sandwich was served and it looked and tasted delicious... served on a nice crusty baguette the pork was very flavorful and topped with the pickled veggies and cucumber it was the perfect lunch. I would definitely order this again... Glad we found this spot... nice friendly service and great food at reasonable prices. Definitely recommend... read more

I came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon with a large group of people (13 people). We did get seated at 3 tables altogether which was great. The menu had a lot of Vietnamese dishes. Our table ordered the cubed beef appetizer, shrimp sugarcane skewer appetizer, the beef combo pho (XL), and the pork chop over rice. The beef appetizer was cooked well and I like the fried garlic. The shrimp skewers were dry but I really liked the tiny rice noodles. The pho was delicious. The pork chop was very dry. Service was fast and friendly. Everyone was following COVID-19 regulations (masks, social distancing, cleaning). I would return for the pho. read more

We ordered grill pork chop on rice - it was way too salty. Pho soup - beef and meatball - the broth is plajn, meat is a bit hard, meatball is so so. We also got the summer roll. The summer roll has pork and shrimp in it. The pork is a bit on hard side and the sauce is too thick. I am not recommending this place if you love vietnamese food read more
Come here for super fast service and delicious food! The restaurant itself is spacious and has a step-up area that contains booths. They said they were fixing the ac when I went, but there were many fans placed in the restaurant to keep you cool while eating. The fried spring rolls were crispy but not oily-tasting. It's also served with lettuce and cilantro, but there was only one piece of cilantro. I've had better summer rolls; the ratio of meat to noodles to shrimp was a bit off. A bit too much of the vermicelli noodles in my opinion. Not worth $4.75 for only 2 per order. Bun bo hue was a good spice level. Loved the ratio of the noodles to broth to meat. It was also a good portion size. I didn't try any of the pho this time, but it's usually always very flavorful with an abundant amount of meat. read more

Ordered delivery via Grubhub, this is first time trying this restaurant outside of our usual go to place for Vietnamese food. The food is super yummy and the portions are generous. Love the sample appetizer which I don't see other restaurant offers.. all other foods I ordered taste great and met my expectations. There's a lot more other foods that I wanted to try. Definitely will go for dine in one day. I highly recommend this place. read more

I haven't been here in a year or two, but I'm glad to see it's still just as good. My sister refers to it as the "bright green wall pho place." We were greeted and seated right away. We ordered the Combo Pho Large (#25), Beef Ball Pho (#33), and Egg Rolls - 4pcs (#1). The egg rolls came out soo quickly, and the pho bowls came out shortly after. The broth is flavorful and portion sizes are good. I also like the tea... I think it was some type of black tea. We wanted to order Banh Mi to go, but they were out of baguette bread (we came on a Friday at 6:30pm). Sad, but it's okay next time. The service is attentive, friendly, and quick. I would make eye contact with the lady and she'd rush right over. There is a constant flow of customers, and they have so many tables. I recommend coming here! read more

So delicious, the beef pho with all the toppings was fantastic, very savory, and not too sweet (some places add too much sugar). Everything was very fresh, I'll be going here again soon. read more
We came here for dinner and we got seated quickly. There is a pretty steady flow of people coming in and out probably because the service is quick. We were in and out in around 45 minutes. For our drink, we got Thai tea. My friend thought it was too sweet but I personally liked it. Take that as you will. For food, we got fried calamari and the beef wrapped with grape leaves that other yelpers said was good. The calamari was good but nothing special. It was extremely fried (which I love). HOWEVER, the beef wrapped grape leaves were not worth it. It's simply a chunk of beef wrapped in seasoned grape leaves. The leaves were good in itself and the beef tasted fine. But was it really worth the money to have okay beef wrapped in seasoned leaves? Probably not. Definitely do not recommend. The pho noodles, meat, and mix ins were overall good. The broth itself is pretty generic and not flavorful so we definitely recommend adding in things to your taste, whether that be the sauces or the mix ins. Just the pho alone isn't very tasty. Overall, it's a good bowl of pho to satisfy those cravings but not anything incredible. read more

I had the number 47 which is pork with egg rolls on it says white rice. Is not the sticky rice that I am accustomed to is almost like little noodle but the dish was flavorful. I also have the shrimp roles I thought it was a hot but it was cold my bag for not reading. Service was a little slow but overall a very good experience would recommend. read more

Pho Anh Dao is my favorite go-to place for pho because of its delicious broth, quick service and decent prices. I have been here many times whenever I need to satisfy my pho craving, and it is worth it for the price! I always leave super full and everything tastes amazing. There are lots of seating inside, and when you arrive they quickly seat you and available to take your order. I love the Vietnamese fried eggrolls as an appetizer which comes with 4 pieces and fish sauce to dip in. My favorite pho is usually the Combo Bowl (L) or the one with beef tripe in it (depending on my mood!). The broth is always very rich and flavorful, and there are lots of noodles inside. The price is pretty decent for the noodles. I've been to many pho places in Edison, and this is one of the few that is worth it for the price! read more
Appearance: It is located on US Highway 1 South near the Shoprite. Sometimes when they leave the door open there are flies flying around and are a bit annoying. Service: The staff here are very friendly but sometimes they rush you to order even though they just gave you the menu about 5 minutes ago. Menu: They have a variety of things on the menu and their Pho noodles are fantastic! Price: The price here is average for Pho. Taste: The Pho noodles here is delicious and also the rice delicious is beyond amazing to me. This is my all time favorite Vietnamese restaurant all around Edison. First of all, Joanne is the best! All of the wait staff there are friendly and attentive but Joanne issimply on another level. It is her service here that makes me and my partner go back again and. We are known by name here and Joanne already knows what will order and how we like it prepared. The food here is amazing! Of course I love the Pho XL but my secret favorite is the t-bone steak. I swear they must put crack in that steak w fried rice! The fried and fresh spring rolls are also a favorite of ours Guarantee you'll love this place and make sure to meet Joanne! read more
