This restaurant is located right next to crab house! I'm not sure if they are by the same owner, but definitely let the waiter in the front know which one you want to dine at. The night we went, there was only one waitress, so service was bit on the slower side. The view from the windows were nice - this spot is on the 2nd floor of one of the Festival plaza buildings. - Dan Dan noodles, 3/5: bouncy noodles with good chew, but flavor was on the sweeter side, and not very saucy or tasty - Pickled Fish, 4/5: I've been to a couple of fish dish places and this one has good sour pickled flavors, with fresh fish.. but it was on the pricier side - Spiced Beef, 4.5/5: this one was pretty good! The hot oil was flavorful and chewy pieces of beef I don't know if I would come back here specifically for the fish, but the spiced beef is really nice.

Came here for graduation celebration (10people) . The service was excellent! Our waiter really took his time to explain the menu and accommodated the needs. He spoke Cantonese so it was great for him to communicate with elders on my table. It's very spacious and relaxing ambience for good food. We had our little section since we had a big group. We ordered black cod (spicy level 2) and Bronzino (not spicy). The black cod was definitely a hit. They all love the spicy taste. Fish was tender. Highly recommend. Karage and baos (chicken?) were very good too. They also had beverages but we didn't try. Overall great place for big groups. Food is fresh and flavorful.

The best FISH IN SPICY AND SOUR SOUP in tri-state area! Must order the black cod. Small is good for 2 people. Monday they have 25 dollars per person all you can eat shrimp. Have 6 kinds of dishes to choose from. The flavor is a little too Americanized I think. Might be good for kids though. I love their FISH IN SPICY AND SOUR SOUP!

Wow wow wow. I am not a fish lover but their fish soup special absolutely blew me away with the balance of flavors. Loved the dan dan noodles and taro appetizer as well. Do not miss out on this spot even though it's hidden on the 2nd floor of this big Asian food complex!

Out of all the dishes we tried, we only really liked the fish in spicy/sour soup (the main option on the menu). We got the black cod, which was a great size to share for 3-4 people. It was flavorful and tender and so delicious! The plate of mushroom and bok choy was nothing special, but it was nice to have vegetables with our meal. The other 2 dishes fell short. The cold jellyfish app was cut into thin strips and had more radish than jellyfish. The Atlantic cod fish noodle soup was bland, and the precooked noodles had all congealed together. If you come here, I highly recommend sticking with the main fish dish. It also came with extra soup in a cute cat pot!

Wu's Fish House in Edison, NJ. Have you ever had Wu's Fish in Spicy and Sour Soup? It was my first time too! They creatively select thirteen different types of fish, including tender river fish commonly found in Eastern cuisine and sea fish often enjoyed in Western cuisine. If you're a shrimp lover, you absolutely have to check out Wu's Fish House, especially on Mondays when they offer the Ultimate Endless Shrimp for just $25! Everything is made fresh to order, and the quality is outstanding. I was blown away by how generous the portions were - usually, with "unlimited" specials, they skimp on the servings, but not here! There are six delicious options to choose from: braised shrimp with vermicelli, pineapple sweet and sour shrimp, coconut shrimp, shrimp Alfredo linguini, and shrimp Yangchow fried rice. A tip: I highly recommend ordering the braised shrimp with vermicelli and the shrimp Yangchow fried rice last. They come in generous portions, and you want to pace yourself to get the most out of your dining experience. Also, the cast iron skillet the braised shrimp comes in is hot, so be cautious to avoid burns! The flavor is fantastic - good spice, balanced perfectly across each dish. The braised shrimp with vermicelli was a favorite of mine, but the pineapple shrimp definitely stood out as a close second. It's clear Wu's doesn't skimp on quality or portion size. The dining time is capped at two hours, but that's more than enough to enjoy a feast, especially when you're coming with an empty stomach. The only catch? If you don't finish your food and it weighs over a pound, you'll be charged the regular menu price for the leftovers, but honestly, with the portion sizes, it's easy to get your money's worth. I left Wu's Fish House feeling satisfied and full, and it was definitely well worth the value. This is one of those specials you get while you can - don't miss out!

We ordered Pickled Cabbage Fish Soup With Speical Grass Carp(Large), sweet and sour red snapper & white rice. The fish soup was phenomenal and red snapper was delicious in sweet & sour sauce. We all enjoyed all the dishes well. It's a good fish house in Edison and would love to come again to eat.

If you are a fan of seafood, this is a MUST TRY! Like many of the places in Festival Plaza, the fish is fresh and cooked to perfection. What I find unique about Wu's is the variety of fish you can choose from, and how many ways you can get your food prepared. I got fried black cod and chips, my friend got the WUVA Hibachi Bowl with Shrimp, Salmon, and Chicken, and my other friend got the BBQ Ribs and rice. The appetizers were stars as well including a fresh cucumber salad, salt and pepper chicken, and scallion noodles. After a great dinner, go downstairs and grab some mango sticky rice or boba at MangoMango!

we came here on sunday at 1pm. there were plenty of seats available. food arrived pretty quick after ordering. the interior was clean. food quality was good. broth was a bit plain, I expected it to be creamier... overall, it was good portion for the price. parking is hard to find during peak hours

We went early on a Friday and it was extremely quiet. The food was just okay. This is literally the first time in my life that I ever felt that my food was under salted. I'm very sensitive to salt, but I could barely taste any in my food. My boyfriend said the same. I had fried cod and he had the monkfish soup. We shared an order of dan dan noodles. They had a nice kick to them. No complaints there. I still want to come back and try more things. The ambience is nice with cute artwork on the walls, and the chairs are comfy.

Hm, I feel that their service went downhill a bit. Had to remind them to get utensils. On top of that, recently had their tonkotsu ramen, it was just not really great at all... Like what happened?

The ambiance is warm, friendly, and inviting, perfect for a nice lunch or date night. This was my daughter's first fine dining experience, and she absolutely loved it. We started with the oysters and calamari. The calamari was light and crispy, cooked perfectly, and the grilled oysters were flavorful--especially with the garlic Parmesan. For our entrees, we had the seafood paella and penne vodka. The portions were a nice size, and the paella came with colossal shrimp that were so good. Everything was well-seasoned and satisfying. They also offer mocktails, which was a great touch. Overall, we spent about $120 on appetizers, mocktails, and entrees, and it was well worth it. No complaints at all--definitely a spot I'll be returning to. Great for a date night or a special outing.

The restaurant has high ceilings and all hard surfaces so the acoustics are very lively. Bartenders were preoccupied with their regulars, but they were friendly and attentive. Cocktails were pricey, but on the mark. Blondie had a margarita and said it was as good as I make. I had Hendricks up with olives. Nicely chilled glass and shaken to perfection. When our friends arrived we were seated in the front of the dining room along the windows. Acoustics a little better but I still had some trouble hearing my wife across the table. The wine list had a decent selection and even some good values mixed in with the typical 3X prices. We had a couple of bottles of Sancerre which arrived properly chilled and went well with our food. Oyster selection was very good. I let the chef pick some cold water varieties from PEI. The Bad Boys and Momma Mia were excellent. Briney, properly chilled and nice accoutrements. We also had calamari and zucchini which were perfectly fried. The bread was pretty good too. Worth noting. For entrees we had the Branzino (2), Sole and Halibut. They were served with a small portion of tasty potatoes and generous pile of sauteed spinach. All on the mark. Server was very attentive but not overbearing. Perfect pace. Bussers cleared plates timely. We had a nice relaxing and enjoyable evening. Solid dining experience. We will definitely return. Perhaps sit at the bar next time. The one pecular thing about the place is that you need to get on an elevator to go to the restrooms which are located in the basement. I would prefer to use the stairs but apparently, they are for staff only.

We had reservations and were immediately seated even though our full party wasn't there--which was appreciated. Richard was our server, and he was extremely pleasant and helpful. It is BYOB, and there is a liquor store right at the next corner, so very convenient. And there was a decent amount of free on street parking. We ordered some apps --entrees (some ordered seafood boil) others plated meals.. dessert as well. Everyone loved the flavored lemonade. Standouts for me where the crab fries--omg, every bit of a fry in this place was so delicious... from the plain, crab, and sweet potato. They were all prepared perfectly with the right amount of seasoning. My husband was very disappointed in his wings... it seems as though the recipe or chef changed since the last time we were here for the wings and the garlic noodles--they were both very underwhelming. My Canadian King salmon was perfectly medium which I appreciated.. not very seasoned, but I really liked the texture. Some of the party didn't really like how spicy their boil was and with not enough sauce--and their boils are pretty pricey, so that was a bit of a bummer. I heard good things about the dessert, specifically the key lime pie. They were very thoughtful in playing Stevie Wonder's Happy Birthday for our birthday girl.. it was definitely the extended version lol.. but it was really cute. Love the music videos playing on the screen in the center of the room. Also a cute touch. Overall, there were some misses, but I believe the hits were spot on, hence my rating.. I would return to try the rest of the menu.

I visited Steakhouse 85 for the first time on Thursday, March 19th. We all know the food is fantastic, but what impressed me even more was the employees. When I walked in, I was greeted by the hostess, who had a big smile and bright eyes. She showed us to our table swiftly, and during our time there, her smile and warm welcome continued as she greeted other incoming diners. Our waiter appeared quickly with the first question would you like something to drink, water, etc. After the initial greeting, and now ready to take our order, he excitedly told us he had the pleasure of tasting most of the items he suggested. His excitement about the food he had the "pleasure of tasting" (his words) was apparent. Also, I had the pleasure of speaking to Monica, a manager at Steakhouse 85. She was kind, thoughtful, insightful, and well spoken. I could easily see why she holds that position and could have talked to her as I would a good friend. How a great manager like Monica gets those around them to react positively is by example; in other words, it's the ripple effect. It is easy to see that she is the type of person who, no matter what she does or where she goes in life, success will follow. Also, I want to say thank you to the owner and all the managers because hiring the right employees, from the cooks, busboys, and servers, is not an easy job in itself. The key to success is not just about the food; it's also the employees who add to the establishment's success! Great Job To All Of You! Kindness should never be taken for granted these days! Frances

I can say it was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Sweet potatoes casserole who've was so good. Sweet but not even close to too sweet. The spinach was good and I did add some pepper to them. But tasty indeed. Our waiter was really good and attentive. We were one of the first to arrive as it was a early dinner at 4:30pm. But by 5:15 it was crowded and a wait if you had no reservations.
