On Friday, 10/11, my family and I arrived around 6:45pm and was turned away. The staff approached us at the door and said that they had a "party" so they refused to serve us. Mind you, it did not look like a "reserved party" as all the customers inside sat in different tables and away from each other. Poor service on their end when it clearly showed online that they close at 8pm. Maybe they ran out of food? Don't want to cook? Afraid that we will stay passed 8pm? Who knows? Finally got a chance to go to Folsom's OG viet joint and it did not disappoint. Started off with a delicious Vietnamese coffee. They have a variety of drinks, including boba. Also there are lots of dishes to choose from, not just pho. I went with a vegetarian appetizer, the tofu spring roll (3.5/5). I wished they used Romain lettuce instead of iceberg lettuce. After walking in I was seated almost immediately and the service was beyond amazing. They check on you frequent enough to make sure you have a good experience but not too frequent so that you're at a point of annoyance. The food was absolutely delicious per usual, and this is my first time finishing a full bowl of Phõ. The restaurant was a bit noisy, but that's out of their control for the most part -- as it was loud kids and lots of people inside while it was raining. 1/3/2022 Swung by on the way home today from running errands and the hubs was craving for some Pho for dinner this chilly night. I did a quick Yelp check and it led me here. Thank you Yelp! I walked in, ordered 2 large combo #1 Togo and was told 10 minutes. I came back at 9 and my food was ready for pick up. Staff was readily available to assist. Plenty of tables inside to dine in if preferred. The noodles, broth and all was as expected, nothing special. I do like that they put the rare Tai beef slices in a bag so it doesn't contaminate the rest of the Togo food in the box. They take credit cards too! You never know with these Asian restaurants so when it's available, I like to mention that it is! Parking was available and easy to get in/out of. I'd probably skip the pho on my next trip. I would have to come back to try other dishes as I see BBH and rice plates on the menu...until next time...wishing y'all good eats! read more

In the past weeks, I've been here twice. Once for take out and the other was dine in. I didn't experience the welcoming vibe and exemplary customer service that others experienced. The place was dirty and unpleasant to dine in. The food was ok, not stellar enough to override the lack of customer service and cleanliness. The paper menu I was given was food and water stained with a torn wet paper spot across the pho menu options. Eew. The whole time I was there, there was a nasty used napkin on the floor within 4 feet of my table. The 3 staff that worked the area walked past it without picking it up. Ugh. My dining companions were a couple of flies. They landed everywhere... on the condiments, utensils. Double eew. They kept flying into the window trying to get out. I suppose these visitors will come in since they leave the front doors propped open all the time. At this time, my spidey senses were advising me to just leave. But I stayed and ordered. I got the pho combo #1 and Thai iced milk tea. The fixings were fresh. The pho broth was ok. I didn't taste the deep beef bone broth and spice flavors though. 4 stars, The waiter was slow to pick up my payment and get me back my change. He was quicker with the two other tables that came in after me. Plus he forgot to get me a to go cup for my drink. I asked twice for a cup. I never got it. The place was busy. I took my mom here for lunch after not being here for a couple years. I don't know if it's because I was super hungry but the food was amazing with perfect seasoning. Staffs are friendly, amazing food, and reasonable pricing. Now we are back. They have great soup base. However,the pho was a little too soft. Not chewy enough in my opinion. Soup was hot and it was able to cook through the bean spouts. (extremely important) The interior looks great with cool decors. So good! My go to spot when I don't have time to cook. I usually get their bahn mi chicken sandwich. It hits the spot every time. Be forewarned, the jalapenos range from mild to superrrr spicy. You can pick your dish and will also have a history of what you ordered before.. including your side notes or special instructions. But beware: When you order through the app it does not always update. It will take your payment but your order is usually ready sooner than what the app says. Tonight I didn't want to drive far to Sacramento so I just wanted to decent Vietnamese/Chinese dishes. This Pho spot is convenient and serves a diversity of dishes. We ordered Yan Chow Fried Rice, Salt n Pepper Tofu, Salt n Pepper spare ribs, eggrolls and crispy fried noodles. Everything came out Delish! Only complain my daughter has was the crispy noodles that they used was the fat one and she preferred the skinny fried noodles. Other than that our dishes were tasty and we had so much leftovers to take home for tomorrow. Everything cost about $69! Not bad for all these large dishes. The waiters are Super nice here. I'm normally skeptical of chains but ever since moving from the Bay Area, I long for Pho Hoa. Pho ABC comes as a pretty close second. It's very affordable and they have several choices to choose from as well as different boba drinks. The drink prices are higher, but if you're craving boba with your pho, it does the job. I am an avid pho lover and always on the hunt for a good spot. I was shopping at Trader Joe's nearby and was craving some good pho. I saw Pho ABC on Yelp and they had the convenience of placing your order online. I order a large #12 (pho tai) with extra noodles. I had a hard time driving home with my takeout because it smelled so good. I thought the broth was really good. I felt they could have given more meat, but it was still a good amount. I really wish they gave more onions, cilantro, and green onions. I'm a sucker for some fresh herbs. But overall I was pleasantly surprised. This will probably be my new go to pho spot! read more

I have been going here a while. I probably have ordered their shrimp spring rolls the most and they are a solid thing to order. Charbroiled things are best, I have not been impressed with the Chinese options and they have always been below average. About 25% of the time I get mushy rice, which is surprising since their rice should be on point. I always order online and tip. Recently I gave a 20% tip for my pickup and they wanted to charge me 50 cents for sweet and sour sauce, now my tips will be 15% unless I sit down.
