Vermicelli bowl with egg roll. It's a lot of egg roll!
Harley S.

Love what we've tried here so far which includes the vermicelli bowls, the grilled pork (great flavor), the Vietnamese rolls... Have not tried the pho yet but we are encouraged and will be back. Portions/value are generous and service is terrific.

This is one of the better pho places around. The broth is nice and hot. It bothers me when the pho places don't have hot broth. My husband had pho dac biet and I had the rice special and the portion is very generous full of flavor and I like the char on the grilled meats. The pho portion is giant with plenty of meat. I asked for a side bowl and had some pho too. The service was very fast and servers were kind and accommodating. They do have a chili oil. It isn't spicy but had a good flavor.

#02. Pho Rare Steak and Eggrolls
Souzana V.

After a long day of work and hungry, met up with my parents and sister for dinner. I haven't been back to this place in a long time. My dad says it used to be called Pho 79 but now it is Pho 99. I can't remember. The place looked the same, casual, and clean. The service was good and our appetizers and pho came out in good timing. Didn't wait too long. We just ordered 2 plates of plain eggrolls only, which was 8 pieces. The eggrolls were ok. I've had better, but decent. The eggroll sauce is on point. Our pho orders came out hot the way it should be. I had a medium rare steak. The amount of pho and rare steak was good for a medium bowl serving. Not too little pho or meat. The broth was good. Overall, I would come back to this place if ever in the area again.

Spring Vietnamese Summer Rolls

A decent spot for Vietnamese food. For appetizers, we had pork and shrimp spring rolls with no noodles. The peanut hoisin dipping sauce with added Sriracha was perfect with the dish. The imperial rolls were delicious but I wished it was served with more than 1 romaine lettuce leaf. The pho without any condiments was okay. However, with the added onion oil, hoisin and Sriracha, the broth was much more flavorful! Tip: order your steak on the side if you like medium rare. We ordered the rice plate replacing the rice with veggies. The proteins, imperial rolls and over-easy egg were great. Again, I wished they would served it with a little more greens. Lastly, we had the bun Bo hue. There was plenty of protein and the flavor was there.

As a big Pho lover from Houston, Texas where has the most Vietnamese community in the US. If I may pretend I know Pho noodles, a lot, this store broth was bit intense tasting too much addition rather than a real original Pho beef broth. General service, friendly people and dining room was clean organized overall. Good news that the portion is very friendly big even a small size bowl.

Hi this place is amazing. I've come here a lot with my bf, it's nice to hear "welcome back." "See you next time!" Pho is good, the fries are good, boba is good! Even the water It's a friendly good environment.

This review is regarding the to-go delivery from Uber Eats. This is my 3rd or 4th time ordering from Pho 99. The portion size is decent and tasty;however, they are extremely stingy on the broth. Every single time, the broth is only 2/3 full and today was no exception. Whether you order a small or a large, you get the same amount of broth. Even if you order a small size, the broth is not enough and it is all soaked up in the noodles. They have an option to get another 32 ounces of broth for $4.95 which is a rip off! Now, every time I order 3 small size phos instead of 2 large phos so we have an extra soup to use and it is the most economical way. See picture below. This is a small sized pho with 1 and 1/2 container of broth that I used to make it look like the presentation you get at the restaurant. Please fill up the broth for your customers!

When I lived in Littleton, I would frequently eat at Pho 99. I came back to Denver for a weekend, and took my ultimate frisbee team to eat pho in Aurora. This was my first time at Pho 99 in Aurora. Upon reaching the parking lot, I saw the restaurant didn't look aesthetically appealing, and I knew the food was gonna be good! Sure enough, the food quality didn't disappoint. Broth was seasoned well and tasty. Rare steak was tender. I talked to the owner, and she said she used to own the Pho 99 in Littleton, but quality at that location may have lessened. If you're in Aurora and craving for some Pho, then swing by Pho 99!

Takeout during the pandemic? Pho 99 has it covered! The Best broth in Denver by far! Love, love, love Pho 99. The staff rocks, the restaurant is spotless, repainted and updated. The plastic bowl fits all of the broth/condiments nicely and they give you hoisin and sriracha too. I love eating there and cannot wait to eat in person once this Pandemic is over!!

The inside is very casual, and the menu is great. My fiancée and I split the chilled spring rolls with shrimp. Two come in an order, and they were a good size. They're a classic spring roll served with peanut dipping sauce on the side. We also shared the combination rice plate, which was a great way to sample several items from the menu. It comes with chicken, pork, beef, and shrimp. My favorites, in order, were the chicken, the shrimp, the beef, and lastly the pork chop. I was surprised the chicken ended up on top, but it was very tasty. It also comes with an egg roll cut into several pieces, which makes it a great dish to share. One person in our group ordered the shaken beef signature dish, and the beef was very yummy. Would highly recommend this place. I'm looking forward to coming back.

A true hidden gem - do not miss this place!…read more This Vietnamese restaurant is one of those spots you hope stays a local secret forever, but it's just too good not to share. The food, portions, flavors, and overall experience are absolutely outstanding. First - you cannot leave without trying the homemade ginger ale. I have no idea what magic they put into it, but it is truly out of this world. It's unique, refreshing, and easily one of the most memorable drinks I've had at a restaurant. The pho is consistently delicious - packed with incredible flavor. The sesame chicken is another standout, but honestly, the curries are where this place really shines. My friend said the lamb curry was one of the best things he has ever eaten, and I completely understand why. The curries come out piping hot and overflowing- literally. The atmosphere is just as special as the food. The inside has such a great vibe - cozy, welcoming, and full of character. They also have the cutest little patio that feels like a hidden oasis with all the greenery and homey touches. The management and staff are phenomenal. They are always friendly, attentive, and genuinely care about your experience. They constantly check in and somehow always seem to surprise you with something extra. You can tell this place is run by people who truly love what they do. We've done both takeout and dine-in, and the quality never changes. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. They also have great vegan options, so there really is something for everyone. They are connected with the same ownership/management as Golden Bánh Mì next door, which is also incredible - clearly there is a passion for creating amazing food and experiences.

However, the staff was extremely accommodating and did a great job making sure everyone was taken care of. Even though the restaurant was busy and our group was much larger than the average party, they still provided great service and were very patient with us. I really appreciated how much effort they put into making the experience enjoyable for everyone. The food was also very tasty. I ordered the sesame chicken, and it had the perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors. The sauce had just the right amount of sweetness without being overwhelming, and the chicken had a really good crunch to it. It was exactly what I was hoping for and definitely one of the highlights of my meal. Everything else that I tried was enjoyable as well, and overall, I was impressed with the quality of the food. My biggest complaint was more about the layout of the restaurant than the food or service. Because we had such a large group, there really weren't many spaces available that could accommodate everyone together. We ended up having to sit at five separate tables, which was a little inconvenient when we were trying to celebrate a birthday as a group. I completely understand that the staff was working with the space they had, and I really appreciate that they did everything they could to accommodate us. It just would have been nice if there were a larger seating area where big parties could sit together. I think a remodel or some type of redesign of the dining area could really benefit the restaurant, especially if they frequently have larger parties. Creating a designated space for bigger groups would make the experience much more convenient and would allow families and large groups to actually sit together and enjoy their meals. Overall, though, we had a great experience. The staff was incredibly accommodating, the food was delicious, and they did a great job handling our large group despite how busy they were. The seating situation was definitely the only downside, and I think that could be improved with a little more space or a remodel. I would still come back, especially for the food and the excellent service!

The ube latte was perfectly sweet with a strong ube flavor. The crème brûlée cruffin had a top that was so crispy from the toasted sugar that I couldn't cut into it, and the bottom was just stuffed full of cream. It was super messy to eat and impossible to share- next time I am getting my own. We also had the pandan coconut cupcake, which was good but not as exciting as the cruffin. The pandan and coconut were both equally strong flavors- I liked it better than my husband did. The Thai tea cake in a cup was also excellent, but outshone by the cruffin. My girlfriend was taking a class nearly across the street, so I thought I'd check it out. I was disappointed that they've apparently stopped making crêpe cakes as that was a favorite. There were none in the case and they're no longer mentioned on the Web site. Alas. However, there were lots of interesting items on display. I selected a Strawberry Croissant, a Chocolate Cupcake, and one of the cake cups: Ube Tres Leches Milk Cake. I'd never seen anything like that last item before. The strawberry croissant is filled with fresh strawberries and vanilla cream. I was worried that it might be soggy, but it was crispy, flaky and very tasty. The frosting on the cupcake was chocolate-flavored chantilly cream. This was heavenly. Absolutely perfect. I never contemplated ube plus tres leches. There is a traditional Vietnamese version (ha, you Latin purists!) that uses the flavors of Vietnamese iced coffee, but ube is a new approach. The number of different cultures involved here is making my head spin, but the result was delightful, of course. A mini cake in a paper ice cream cup is also a great idea. More substantial and easier to eat than a cupcake, but still a good snack for one person. Service was prompt, friendly, and helpful. The business faces Colfax Avenue. There's street parking plus a large, free parking lot behind the building. There are a number of tables if you can't wait to get your purchases home and a variety of drinks including Vietnamese coffee, a full espresso bar, tea, and lemonade. Bánh mi and other breakfast and lunch sandwiches are available plus rice bowls. I really enjoyed my purchases. Downtown Aurora is a bit of a drive for me, but I definitely need to make the trip more often.
