Pho 5up was delicious! Clean and quiet restaurant...Was greeted and welcomed by the young lady working the register restaurant and decided to place a to-go order. My veggie soup was delicious! Flavorful and fresh. Love how the fixings were served in an actual bowl and you just add your broth to it. My veggie spring rolls were tasty too! Just wish they added shrimp to the roll. Next time will ask if this is something their able to do :))) Happy Yelping!

I've been wanting to try this place, everytime I pass by, because I love Pho! Read the reviews and it seemed to be a great place to eat per past visitors. Everything was as described! The place had a nice ambiance if you want to dine in, which we opted to do so. The service was outstanding from beginning to end. You were greeted upon arrival and checked on as needed until you left. (Not overbearing either, just at the right times.. must say very attentive) They made sure you were satisfied. The food was great, Pho had a great broth. The spring/egg rolls were very tasty and everything was very much satisfying. It definitely hit the spot and I will be back for sure. Yum If you're in the Crofton area, don't pass this spot by.. give it a try. I'm sure you'll like it!

This is a small place in a semi industrial strip mall that I have been meaning to try, so I finally got a chance. It does a lively takeout trade, although there were some other folks dining in as well. The service was prompt, the soup was tasty and I would definitely stop in again.

The raw ingredients made two bowls with one broth by just adding a little more water [4oz].

Take out yesterday. Rare Steak, Brisket, meatballs and tendons. This is my second time ordering and I can't recommend highly enough Pho 5UP Crofton. They separate each orders ingredients into individual containers but put some in the included bowl like the beef, noodles and jalapeños. First pic is everything in the bowl with fresh almost flowery broth given. Second is cooked 4 minutes high in microwave. I only ordered one serving but when mixed with a little more water, I actually MADE TWO BOWLS for just $12.95. Did I mention how fantastically fresh everything is?? You can't even buy ingredients this fresh at the grocery store. So naturally organic I can feel the health moving through my body.

They have a great deal on pho+a drink, the staff is kind and polite. Food is delicious and fresh, I would 100% return.

Pho as served. $12.95. So good.

Went to this location for the first time. Like it quite a bit more than the Annapolis location. It's cleaner, friendlier and faster. Much cleaner. Nice inside. Also the soup is better. To me it tastes like the broth had more flavor to it (it can be a bit watered down in Annapolis) and the greens were more plentiful. Will definitely be back. $12.95 for a large bowl

Growing up, I didn't care for soup. So anything with broth was out for a decade or so of my life. Now that my palette's grown, finally tried pho! Yes, you read that right. I'm a pho first timer! This junk was delicious. Beef flank, onions, scallion, fresh mint, rice noodles, jalapeños, bean sprouts, lime-- it's a yes for me. Once I added that hoisin and hot sauce to that broth (last pic)-- BABYYYYY!!! Since this was my first time, I don't have any pho spots to compare it to. But Pho 5Up gets a 10/10! Portion size was huge, and I love leftovers!

Came here for lunch on Monday (MLK Day) around 1:30 with my wife, and it honestly hit me that we've…read morebeen here plenty of times but I've never actually left a review. Which is wild, because I know I've taken a bunch of food pics here that I've never posted... complete waste lol. We walked in and were seated immediately and ended up getting the second-to-last available booth. Most of the room was couples on lunch dates, plus a group of friends, and later a party of about 7 took over one of the tables. Noise level was mostly moderate, with a quick sprinkle of loud when that bigger group got going, but nothing crazy, still totally fine for a date or a relaxed lunch. My wife ordered the A2 (slices of eye of round steak, well-done flank, and soft tendon). I got the A6 (eye of round steak and soft tendon). The pho was good, the broth had a lot of flavor. I did order extra noodles because while I like the pho here, the portions are a little smaller compared to some other spots we go to. I loaded mine up with bean sprouts, tore up some basil, and let the jalapeños sit in the bowl for a bit for heat. Lately though, I've been more about the chili oil, which they'll bring out if you ask. We also got shrimp summer rolls, which are always a go-to for me when eating pho anywhere. These were fresh, great texture, and the basil really pops. The peanut sauce is one of the best parts. Honestly, I could come here just for the summer rolls and that sauce. I also grabbed a taro smoothie, lightly sweet and creamy, solid choice. Food came out fast, maybe 8 minutes after ordering. Service here is consistently good. The staff is friendly, not pushy at all, and they actually check in on you without hovering. You can always get someone's attention if you need something. They even let a couple move from a table to a booth once one opened up, which I thought was a nice touch. The place itself is very clean, the tables and floors are always well kept. I don't really remember music, but there was a TV on playing college basketball. Overall vibe is relaxed. Parking can be a little tight since it's tucked behind a Rita's and the layout is kind of awkward, but even when it's full you're not walking far, just a compact lot. Price-wise, our total was about $40, but that included an extra summer roll and an extra smoothie. Without the extras, it would've been under $30. My only real critique is portion size for the price, specifically with the pho. It's not a deal breaker, but it's why this isn't my go-to spot when I'm really hungry. I'm a big guy with a big appetite -- my wife would be fine eating here any day of the week. Would I come back? Yeah. The food is good and the service is solid. For me, this is more of a quick lunch spot or a stop when I'm on the move, rather than a full dinner destination. Consistent, reliable, and never a bad choice, just depends on how hungry you are.

Total came out to approximately $20 (not including tip). What's Hot - Quality. Delicious. My vegetable pho with tofu and vegetables included ingredients like broccoli, carrots, tofu cubes, nappa cabbage and even daikon. - Menu. This is one of the most extensive menus I've seen at a Vietnamese restaurant. Not only do they have the standard pho options, to include bun and drinks, but there are also clay pot options, Singaporean noodles, savory crepes, seafood, and vegan options. There is the option of ordering vegetable broth, which I did, and was delicious. - Price. For the portions and quality of the food, good value for money. I ordered a large pho. That in combination with my summer rolls was enough to get me full and not stuffed. - Service. Because there was a small group of us, we asked they provide us separate checks, which they did. They did a good job of keeping track of our orders and our final tabs were accurate. We did not wait a long time for our food, as well. The only thing that took longer than the pho was the crepe that my friend ordered, but it wasn't too long. My group took a while to order, because we were chatty. We also stuck around for some time after finishing our meals. Their staff was great in checking in on us and refilling our water afterwards. For me, the mark of good service is when they continue to check in on your even after paying your tab. - Layout. It's a small restaurant, but there are booths and tables. There's also a good size parking lot in the plaza. What's Not - Layout. Their layout does not appear to accommodate groups more than 6 people. This location is also a bit of a drive for me, so it's not the most convenient, but that's specific to me. Final Answer Definitely worth returning to.

So we drove a good 30mins to get here, with anticipation from seeing this restaurant on a travel channel, but the original location is in NY. We get there, and its plenty of free parking. We ask for seating for 3 and we are told they are only seating individuals who booked a reservation. Totally understandable considering its Valentine's day. I dropped the ball folks. I didn't make a reservation. So I noticed a bar lounge which we were told we could wait for a seat to open up. As we were waiting a coupled jumped in front us and took a seat. The manager Claudia came to the rescue like the dark knight but with more grace. She mentioned she was willing to put us on the list for a table in the main dining area. I accepted her kind gesture and continued to wait for bar lounge seating to open up. A couple was kind enough to come over to us and ask if we were waiting for bar lounge seating. They offered their table to us as they were ending their night. There was a 2 man band playing in the lounge area that was very soothing to the ear. As I tried to help my mother get comfortable at the hightop table, I noticed she was having a difficult time getting seated in such a high chair. Guess who came to the rescue, you guessed, Claudia! She's the best, 100 grand, made me a real fan. So she came over and said our table was ready if we wanted a booth seating and we all know that's the best seats in the house. All I could think is look at God. The wait wasn't even long either. 10 out of 10 for saving the day. In addition our waitress was such a sweetheart. I mentioned a white malbec I saw on the menu that I was astonish to see b/c I never knew of such a thing. She bought me a small glass to taste and my God, I am a true believer Jesus turned water into wine. Its so clear like water but the taste is amazing. The food is so delicious. The restaurant is very clean. The staff is very personalable. Everyone cartered to us. You would have thought we were the Obamas or something. As we were stuffing our faces, Claudia comes around handing out roses to the men/boys to give to their dates. Complimenting my son and his daper outfit she hands him a rose and tells him to give it your mommy. At the moment he lights up with a big smile as if he paid for the rose himself. I can tell he felt like a gentleman and good that he could give his mother a red rose on Valentine's day. That small gesture was very thoughtful and appreciated. I apologize for my essay, but they desired it. I love the service, the ambiance, the food, and service. I haven't seen my mother smile so much in a while. So it bought me great joy to give my mother this experience on Valentine's day. I thank Nonna Angela's staff for such a wonderful experience.

The two pianist did no dueling at all; they did mostly duets or took turns taking requests. I was hoping to witness a musical battle. In addition the food was horrid. I ordered the stuffed shrimp with the mushroom risotto but twice my shrimp were undercooked literally gray lines still on the shrimp. When I asked for melted butter for my broccolini I was given cubes of cold butter. I then ordered the short rib having given up on the shrimp and the short ribs slow cooked would surely be done and savory however the carrots could not be cut with a knife at all. I returned the dish and decided to give up. My partner ordered the fish and chips but the fish and chips had a charred old taste as the grease was old and therefore the food had a Smokey taste. I looked at my surroundings and everyone pretty much ordered sandwiches and fries of which they left ample amounts of food untouched. As for the drinks the holiday margarita was mostly ice, very thin small glass and there was no edible glitter in it as promised per the menu. No beers on draft. U had spoke highly of this place after my experience with Chef Ahmad but since I regret I can no longer speak highly. Last but not least the grinch and Santa were the personality for the evening and carried the energy. The waiter due to me not having any food did not comp, send over a manager or right the wrong. I will not return nor recommend. Either do events well or food well; this event was a miss on both. We left early as the event was mediocre at best but also I was hungry and in need of food.

Admittedly, the first time I visited Allison's, I didn't have high hopes - I originally wanted to go next door to Mamma (Nonna) Angela's for my Italian craving, but the group I was with was adamant about coming here instead. Well, I'm glad they did, because everything I had here was five stars and then some! From the bread, pasta, steak to the seafood, everything that graced my pretty little lips here was delicious (and served in huge portions)! I've now been to Allison's three times, and every time I come back, the offerings seem to get even better. I also appreciate how cheap the drinks here are - under $10 for a glass of wine outside of happy hour? Sign me up please! But seriously though, if you're looking for a solid spot to grab some yummy Italian (and American) fare while on your way to Waugh Chapel to go shopping, I definitely recommend Allison's Restaurant.
