01. Eye Round Rare Steak

I've passed by Pho 5up plenty of times before finally deciding to stop in, and I'm so glad I did! I've always been loyal to another pho spot, but after coming here now a few times with my son, we'll definitely be regulars. Their broth is top-notch (which is a big deal for us), the portions are generous, staff are nice and service is fast! So happy to have a great pho spot close to home!

The same sauce for different dishes. Shameful

Awful! The previous owner and his chef are gone. The new owner is Korean and the pho is inauthentic and plain awful. Pho tastes watered down, none of the sauce go with the dishes. I got the goi ga and the stuffed grapes leaves. They used the same chili sauce for both. What!? All locations are owned by the same company. Please don't waste your time or money here anymore. You've been warned.

Pho 5up was delicious! Clean and quiet restaurant...Was greeted and welcomed by the young lady working the register restaurant and decided to place a to-go order. My veggie soup was delicious! Flavorful and fresh. Love how the fixings were served in an actual bowl and you just add your broth to it. My veggie spring rolls were tasty too! Just wish they added shrimp to the roll. Next time will ask if this is something their able to do :))) Happy Yelping!

I've been wanting to try this place, everytime I pass by, because I love Pho! Read the reviews and it seemed to be a great place to eat per past visitors. Everything was as described! The place had a nice ambiance if you want to dine in, which we opted to do so. The service was outstanding from beginning to end. You were greeted upon arrival and checked on as needed until you left. (Not overbearing either, just at the right times.. must say very attentive) They made sure you were satisfied. The food was great, Pho had a great broth. The spring/egg rolls were very tasty and everything was very much satisfying. It definitely hit the spot and I will be back for sure. Yum If you're in the Crofton area, don't pass this spot by.. give it a try. I'm sure you'll like it!

Mmm, pho

This is a small place in a semi industrial strip mall that I have been meaning to try, so I finally got a chance. It does a lively takeout trade, although there were some other folks dining in as well. The service was prompt, the soup was tasty and I would definitely stop in again.

The raw ingredients made two bowls with one broth by just adding a little more water [4oz].

Take out yesterday. Rare Steak, Brisket, meatballs and tendons. This is my second time ordering and I can't recommend highly enough Pho 5UP Crofton. They separate each orders ingredients into individual containers but put some in the included bowl like the beef, noodles and jalapeños. First pic is everything in the bowl with fresh almost flowery broth given. Second is cooked 4 minutes high in microwave. I only ordered one serving but when mixed with a little more water, I actually MADE TWO BOWLS for just $12.95. Did I mention how fantastically fresh everything is?? You can't even buy ingredients this fresh at the grocery store. So naturally organic I can feel the health moving through my body.

They have a great deal on pho+a drink, the staff is kind and polite. Food is delicious and fresh, I would 100% return.

Pho as served. $12.95. So good.

Went to this location for the first time. Like it quite a bit more than the Annapolis location. It's cleaner, friendlier and faster. Much cleaner. Nice inside. Also the soup is better. To me it tastes like the broth had more flavor to it (it can be a bit watered down in Annapolis) and the greens were more plentiful. Will definitely be back. $12.95 for a large bowl

The combination rolls here are hands-down some of the best I've had: perfectly wrapped, packed with fresh herbs and shrimp, and that peanut dipping sauce is addictive. And the pho -- rich, fragrant broth, generous portions, everything tastes fresh every single time. It's the kind of bowl that ruins other pho for you. I've eaten here more times than I can count over the years, and I'm genuinely going to miss this place once I'm gone. My only complaint, and it's a running one: the building owners need to fix the damn A/C. It's been an issue for a while and really is the one thing holding back an otherwise perfect spot. If you're in Crofton, do yourself a favor and get the combination rolls and pho before you do anything else on the menu. Going to miss this place.

Came here for lunch on Monday (MLK Day) around 1:30 with my wife, and it honestly hit me that we've…read morebeen here plenty of times but I've never actually left a review. Which is wild, because I know I've taken a bunch of food pics here that I've never posted... complete waste lol. We walked in and were seated immediately and ended up getting the second-to-last available booth. Most of the room was couples on lunch dates, plus a group of friends, and later a party of about 7 took over one of the tables. Noise level was mostly moderate, with a quick sprinkle of loud when that bigger group got going, but nothing crazy, still totally fine for a date or a relaxed lunch. My wife ordered the A2 (slices of eye of round steak, well-done flank, and soft tendon). I got the A6 (eye of round steak and soft tendon). The pho was good, the broth had a lot of flavor. I did order extra noodles because while I like the pho here, the portions are a little smaller compared to some other spots we go to. I loaded mine up with bean sprouts, tore up some basil, and let the jalapeños sit in the bowl for a bit for heat. Lately though, I've been more about the chili oil, which they'll bring out if you ask. We also got shrimp summer rolls, which are always a go-to for me when eating pho anywhere. These were fresh, great texture, and the basil really pops. The peanut sauce is one of the best parts. Honestly, I could come here just for the summer rolls and that sauce. I also grabbed a taro smoothie, lightly sweet and creamy, solid choice. Food came out fast, maybe 8 minutes after ordering. Service here is consistently good. The staff is friendly, not pushy at all, and they actually check in on you without hovering. You can always get someone's attention if you need something. They even let a couple move from a table to a booth once one opened up, which I thought was a nice touch. The place itself is very clean, the tables and floors are always well kept. I don't really remember music, but there was a TV on playing college basketball. Overall vibe is relaxed. Parking can be a little tight since it's tucked behind a Rita's and the layout is kind of awkward, but even when it's full you're not walking far, just a compact lot. Price-wise, our total was about $40, but that included an extra summer roll and an extra smoothie. Without the extras, it would've been under $30. My only real critique is portion size for the price, specifically with the pho. It's not a deal breaker, but it's why this isn't my go-to spot when I'm really hungry. I'm a big guy with a big appetite -- my wife would be fine eating here any day of the week. Would I come back? Yeah. The food is good and the service is solid. For me, this is more of a quick lunch spot or a stop when I'm on the move, rather than a full dinner destination. Consistent, reliable, and never a bad choice, just depends on how hungry you are.

The restaurant is small but cute inside, and I was greeted as soon as I walked in. I ordered the beef skewers, shrimp summer rolls, shrimp fried rice, and a shrimp salad. My food was ready within the quoted 15-20 minutes, which I appreciated. Once I got everything home, I dug right in. The shrimp salad was incredible! It came with a small container of dressing (I believe it was fish sauce), and it absolutely packed a punch with flavor. I'll definitely be coming back just for this salad. The beef skewers came with two skewers served over a bed of noodles. The beef was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. I also tried the shrimp fried rice, which was delicious. The rice was well-seasoned, and they were very generous with the shrimp. The shrimp summer rolls were fresh and tasty, although I wish the peanut sauce on the side had a little more spice. That's really my only minor suggestion. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed everything I ordered. The portions were very generous, the food was fresh and flavorful, and it was exactly the kind of healthy, satisfying meal I was looking for. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

The menu has some vegetarian selections, and I opted for a unique dish of tofu with pineapple and some savory sauce. I was not convinced this combination would work, but the sauce was excellent and the pineapple stood out without clashing. They offered me a house hot sauce and it was powerful stuff. A Thai tea came with rice-based creamer; most of these use dairy and occasionally coconut, but I think rice was appropriate and was filling without being heavy. And they claim to source their tea from Vietnam and the tea flavor came through strongly. I was surprised that they didn't have more rolls on the menu, and there aren't a ton of places like this in Annapolis, but the fresh and intriguing flavors are clearly a draw.

This review is based strictly on customer service, as my interaction with the restaurant was so…read moredisappointing that I never had the opportunity to try their food. I was genuinely interested in visiting after seeing their advertised pho bowl featuring a massive beef dinosaur rib. Since the price wasn't listed on the menu, I called to inquire about availability, pricing, and placing an order. The woman who answered informed me that they were out of the beef ribs and that they had to be specially ordered. Fair enough. However, as I was preparing to end the conversation, she apparently spoke with someone nearby who mentioned they had one smaller rib remaining and could sell it to me at the regular price. I politely declined. What happened next was completely unprofessional and honestly shocking. Apparently unaware that I could still hear her, the woman loudly remarked to her coworker, "I told you so, he wasn't buying it!" She then began speaking in another language in what sounded like an angry, aggressive tone before abruptly hanging up on me. Seriously? Is this how you treat a potential paying customer? First, why advertise a specialty item if it's not regularly available without a special order? Second, why would you expect a customer to pay full price for a smaller, leftover portion of the advertised product? And most importantly, why become visibly irritated and disrespectful simply because a customer politely declines an offer? The most unfortunate part is that I was still interested in trying something else on their menu. I genuinely enjoy exploring new pho restaurants and frequently share my dining experiences through reviews and recommendations. A positive experience could have easily turned me into a repeat customer who recommended the establishment to others. Instead, one unnecessary interaction completely changed my impression of the business. My recommendation to management: If the beef dinosaur rib is a specialty item requiring advance notice, clearly communicate that on the menu. More importantly, ensure employees understand that courtesy, professionalism, and respect are fundamental to customer service, regardless of whether someone ultimately places an order. I can't speak to the quality of the food because I never got that far. However, I can speak to how I was treated, and unfortunately, that experience was unacceptable. For now, I'll continue supporting my favorite pho establishments in Washington, DC, where I know I can count on excellent food and, just as importantly, being treated like a valued customer. Bottom line: Great food may attract customers, but respectful service is what earns their business and keeps them coming back. Unfortunately, this restaurant lost mine before I ever placed an order.
