Just picked up carry out, w shave had great meals in the past but this is next level poor. See pics of the $16 mozzarella caprese and the $8 vegetable medley, and $11 kids stuffed shells. No need to say more tbe pictures tell the story,

This was our first time coming here. Out on a whim, I really was craving Italian and there wasn't many locations within the area. A charming restaurant that's bustling with families, couples and friends looking to catch up. Super friendly staff that were accommodating (I didn't want any mozzarella on my chicken parm and mom wanted little bit of cheese on her shrimp parm). Food was absolutely delicious and I loved the tomato sauce.

We really enjoyed ourselves at this restaurant! The food as amazing and the sauce was homemade. The Mozzarella Fritta's were very yummy. We got the Stuffed Shells, with the vodka sauce. Our waiter recommended the vodka sauce and it did not disappoint- so good! Also, got the 7 Fish Linguine dish. Then finished with the tasty Salted Caramel layered cake special- top tier! My only negative comment is that the floor seemed to have a lot of food on it. Other than that, the service was great.

Nonna's staff was super pleasant! They were very attentive and our server even gave us some recommendations. We started off with the crab toast and calamari. The calamari was a classic, but the crab toast was just okay. The food portions were very large! The chicken Parmesan was just a bit dry, but the sauce was great. My husband loved his dish, especially the crispy potatoes.

Nona's is always a hit for great food along with substantial portions for brunch or dinner, a day-night date, family, or just out with the girls!

I had heard great reviews about this place so I couldn't wait to try it out. It was my cousin's birthday and she had also been wanting to try it out. I will be back. We had a party of 8 and they were able to accommodate us on a Sunday evening for dinner. For appetizers, we had the crab bruschetta and calamari. The calamari was fried perfectly. I loved it. Then for my meal, I had the crab risotto. Chef's kiss! Although I do want to try the lobster ravioli and seafood lasagna. Our server, Felipe was amazing and extremely patient. Then for dessert, I had the cannoli that was good as well. Nothing, I had was bad and thus I will be back, although it was an hour drive. I definitely felt like it was well worth it.

Hats off once again dear Yelp community for this wonderful Italian restaurant. We were in town for a festival a couple of months ago. Afterwards we were tired and also hungry for a good non-fast food meal. We consulted the handy dandy Yelp app, which pointed us to Nonna Angela's. The restaurant is located in a nondescript strip mall and it's easy to get to from the major roads. Plenty of free parking in the private lot out front. When we got there we were a wee bit nervous because their sign wasn't yet lit up for the evening. Fortunately, they were open. We were seated promptly in a very nice large booth - you need this for the plates! We were greeted at our table promptly and our drink order taken along with appetizers. We got the crispy Brussels Sprouts and the mozzarella 'planks'. The Brussels Sprouts were yummy, and the mozzarella sticks nice and chewy. On to our entrees. On the recommendation of the server I chose the lasagna and I am so glad I did - the pasta was thin and delicate, gravy nicely balanced and blended well with cheeses and meats. It was, in a word, divine. My sister got the gnocchi, which were quite yummy. No dessert, we were completely stuffed when we were done with our meals. The atmosphere is casual-chic and relaxed. We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area! Highly recommend.

A short drive off of Rt.450 from Rt.3 sits Nonna Angela's Italian Restaurant. My wife and I saw a billboard display for this gem of a restaurant while attending a Chesapeake Baysox baseball game and after checking out their online menu, we opted to make it our dinner destination to celebrate our 7th wedding anniversary and we were not disappointed! Our friendly server Adrien P. started us off with a basket of bread rolls to dip in a shallow dish of Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) mixed with Balsamic Vinegar and Garlic Cloves along with drinks, a glass of Prosecco for my wife and a glass of Merlot for me, while we contemplated our appetizers, and after mentioning the specials for the day, we decided to try one of those: Fried Green Tomatoes, along with a listed Antipasti option: Mozzarella Caprese. Our server Adrien P. fell into a pattern of responding with "Awesome!!!" as we told her what we wanted. She wasn't wrong, both dishes were presented well on the plate, and delicious. For the entree round, my wife selected the Pollo Limone (chicken with Angel Hair pasta) and I ordered the Trio Italiano (a combination of Lasagna, Stuffed Shell, and Eggplant Parmigiana). I continued with the flow of Merlot wine while my wife switched up to Chardonnay wine. The entrees were equally delicious. The service was swift and while crowded, the decor of various art works and pots and pans and rollers mounted on the walls, along with low operatic music really lent to a very charming dinner experience. We finished off our meals with two Tiramisu Martinis and a shared Cannoli - both of which were, to borrow Adrien' catch phrase: Awesome. We boxed up for the road what we couldn't comfortably eat, and left a well-earned generous tip, and my wife and I both agree: this may have been our first time dining at Nonna Angela's, but it won't be our last.

I had a great time here the food was absolutely delicious and came out very promptly. The location has a welcoming and homey atmosphere. My server was very sweet and helpful, everyone seemed to work as a team. Would love to come back for a drink at the bar! Bathrooms are small but kept tidy! The creamy crab bruschetta was a great start, along with a must have a side salad. When I'm having Italian cuisines a salad is a must have. As my main dish I had a creamy tomato based pasta with a crispy crusted chicken cutlet. I approve and suggest you come try it out

This place fully exceeded our expectations. We'd heard of it from friends but hadn't ventured over yet, so it seemed perfect for a celebratory dinner. To start off we had a round of cocktails and were all happy with our beverages. We loved everything we tried from drinks to dessert - everything was 5/5 stars. The service was great & the staff was very accommodating when our group ended up being smaller than originally planned. Once inside and seated, you'd never know you were in a strip mall.

Another staff member was just as great, constantly clearing our table, removing empty dishes, and refilling our water without us even having to ask. When I mentioned I didn't really care for the rice balls, they immediately took them back and removed them from our bill--no hesitation. That level of customer care definitely stood out. We didn't know anyone personally who had been there, but the photos and buzz convinced us to give it a try. We are so glad we did. We drove about 40 minutes and arrived without reservations. That part was on us. We didn't realize how strongly reservations are recommended. The wait was about an hour, but it was completely worth it. The restaurant was packed, which told us right away that this place is well loved. While we were waiting, we noticed something special. The owner, Mr. Pete, was actively involved at the front desk. He checked the waiting list, greeted guests, and spoke to many customers by name. You could immediately tell he has built real relationships with his clientele. There were several birthday celebrations happening, and the energy in the lobby felt warm and welcoming. Once seated, we were taken care of by our server, Louie. He was attentive, knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely kind. Excellent service makes a big difference, and Louie absolutely delivered. Now the food. Phenomenal. We ordered seafood platters, and the portions were enormous. They start you off with warm bread and butter, which set the tone. The seafood was fresh, perfectly prepared, and beautifully presented. The portions were so generous that we had enough left over to enjoy brunch the next day. For the quality and quantity, the pricing was very reasonable. The drinks were excellent, the ambiance was lively yet comfortable, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. Blue Dolphin is clearly a local favorite for a reason. We will absolutely be back. And next time, we will definitely make reservations. Highly recommend.

This winery deserves all the awards and promotion that I've seen all socials .... However, when you know a major dmv social group (dmvdoes ) is hosting an event of 40+ people why is only 1 staff member working the whole night.? Our event experience (paid ) came with a glass of wine for all our guests. The wine was just put on a table without any explanation of the wine , grapes, or legacy. I brought several things for a raffle including the mayor bottle of wine , 2 tastings, and a wine flight for myself. There was no education or discussion about wine. Next, I ordered food and drinks before our event started and I didn't get my food until an hour after I arrived. Next , the suya was so tough I almost choked on a piece of it. The rice was decent but not a winner for me. Lastly, parking is limited to street parking or an outdoor parking lot up the street. It's a cute place to have a social event or a laid back wine meetup but definitely need more staff, wine education for visitors, and better food options.

I came here in September for my birthday and been very hesitant to write a review…read more I forgot how I heard about this place but I was excited because it's the first black owned winery in laurel. I think it's the only winery in Laurel so I definitely wanted to come and support. I first went to check it out and see what information I could get to reserve for a large party. It's kind of located in the cut of main st but there's plenty of street parking. Walk in and you'll see there are two settings. It's very welcoming and warm with beautiful decor and many seating on both sides. I explained to the gentleman what I wanted and he said it shouldn't be no problem just reach out to the events manager. It was a bit last minute, I sent an email on 9/22 to come on 9/28 at 5:30pm (had to confirm the number of people). Just to clarify, we spoke on the phone and email for communication of all information. I noticed they had an event that same day but it started earlier in the day and the events manager told me it should end before my guests arrive. I told her I was having 20 people total and I was ordering two charcuterie boards. Everything was confirmed and good to go as I thought. My guests were letting me know they were arriving but were seated in the smaller area. I was hoping by the time I got there it would be handled but no they already started ordering in the smaller area and the staff there said they were told only 10 people were suppose to come but I showed them the emails. The event they had ran longer than it should have which I wish I would have known just to let my guests know. The staff then tried to fix it but literally a whole hour and half later. Once we got in the event room, we had our charcuterie boards and others order their suya and jollof rice. They did not finish their food, it actually looked dry. Before the day, I was told my guests were not able to do flights but the day of they were able to order. I wanted to order some for the party but it's okay, we all figured out which wine we liked best and a couple bought bottles. To end it, the staff brought out a cute cupcake for my friends to wish me happy birthday. They have a speaker for you to connect if you want to play your own music. Other than that, we had fun. Regardless, I'm going to have fun. I recommend to go and have your own experience. I will definitely come back for a last minute date or just to pick up one of the wine bottles I liked.
