The previous owner left the kitchen's cabinet in a really bad condition but Philip was creative and found a way to only change some of the cabinets without removing the granite counter-top, which was still in good shape. This helped us save a lot of money and time and gave us the look of a brand new kitchen. He also helped us paint the entire entire house and change some light fixtures. I'm pretty detail-oriented and picky so I appreciate that all of these jobs were done well and quickly. 10/10 would recommend him! read more

My husband is very picky and particular with smallest things around the house during the house remodeling, however, Philip is extremely patient, he puts up with him and would always listen to all of our concerns and answer the million questions we have! I have done quite a bit of remodeling, home repair, and hired many contractors. PH Construction, with Philip and Rebecca coordinating the work, is the BEST contractor I have ever worked with. Professional, conscientious, honest to a fault. Never doubted he would do what was best, and at times actually exceeded my requirements. Not an easy task. Philip and his crew did an awesome with our remodel. Interior and exterior painting, total master bath rebuild, all new flooring (SPC, and carpet, some tile), checked our entire house for any concerns including roof leaks, hvac ducting, decking. Philip completed our house addition early this year, right before SIP order is issued for COVID-19 in Alameda County. This really helps us to get through the pandemic. The project took over half a year for over 800 sqft.. Philip was professional, polite, helpful and responsive all the time. If we have any questions about the materials or want some rework, Philip was willing to give advice and help. We did not have much trouble during the project including inspection. It was as easy as we want the project to be done as we were busy at work and did not have much time to monitor the project. Even after the project is completed, if there is some small issue, Philip would like to come back to help us fix it without charge. We started the project by consulting several constructors and found Philip's quote very fair, especially that the quote is competitive even with unlicensed constructors when he has a license. The project also went smoothly, Philip handled all interactions with the government for the permit and we didn't need to worry about it at all. He also spent lots of time going to tile stores etc. with us and taught us lots of knowledge on selecting materials, which saved us a huge amount of time for researching ourselves.
