We got kitchen and dining room restoration done through JH Remodeling after a dishwasher leak over a period of time caused damage to flooring, cabinetry and drywall. After another service removed the moisture and in the process gutted part of the kitchen and dining room, Gadir stepped in to handle the restoration. Right from the start, it was clear that he was on top of the job. He arrived the same day to assess the project and had shared an estimate within an hour. His pricing was reasonable and he quickly scheduled the work. He completed a very neat and quality job quickly and while keeping us updated through the process. He was readily accessible and was prompt in responding to any questions. Gadir was sincere and committed and went above and beyond on the job. First, when he visited a couple of different Lowes stores to find the specific wood we wanted for flooring and brought it to the site. After the job was complete, he fixed the garbage disposal which had a screw badly latched in. He needed to disassemble the garbage disposal to pull it out, and from looking at the screw, it was clear it wasn't one they had used. I will be reaching out to Gadir for future remodelling jobs. read more

From the moment I reached out to JH Remodeling, I knew I was in good hands. Jamil was incredibly attentive, came on site, and really listened to every detail I envisioned. We discussed ideas thoroughly and agreed on a very reasonable price. The results were absolutely fantastic. They transformed my bathroom into a luxurious space with beautiful marble finishes, a sleek hidden drain design in the shower area, and a stunning double vanity that ties it all together. I've attached photos so you can see the amazing work they did. Even mid-project, when I had a couple of tweaks I wanted to make, they were quick to adjust and made sure everything matched my vision perfectly. I usually stick with remodelers I've used before, but I'm so glad I gave JH Remodeling a chance. They truly delivered beyond my expectations. Highly recommend them to anyone looking to remodel their home! read more

We are very glad we chose JH Remodeling to renovate our guest bathroom. We had a sheet vinyl floor and a vanity/sink replaced and added a new medicine cabinet, light fixture and exhaust fan. There were a few glitches due to old plumbing valves and pipes. Still the job was completed sooner than predicted. The new tile floor was water-proofed and it is stunning. The paint job is flawless. The crew was always on time, worked diligently cleaned up daily, and kept us in the loop at all times. Highly recommended. read more

Jamil is amazing - he is so professional and easy to work with. He communicated every step of the way, and he has very fair prices for how excellent his work is. Jamil replaced a pipe for us and he also led the project to redo our flooring. We are so happy with how it all turned out. Most importantly, Jamil has integrity and takes pride in his work. He has high standards, and he takes care of his customers. We will definitely be going to JH for future work in our home! read more

The JH Remodeling team did amazing work on my garage. All work was done professionally and quickly. Jamil even offered to build a closet door to match one that was no longer available. Jamil went to great lengths to ensure everything met his high standards. I am very happy with the results and highly recommend working with Gadir and Jamil at JH Remodeling. Jamil and his team are FANTASTIC! They came in to help prepare my mom's kitchen for a full remodel which included: pulling permits, removal of all cabinets and appliances, relocating and updating plumbing and electrical as needed to be code compliant, and patching and painting drywall. We had cabinet installers already scheduled so they worked within a tight timeline to do all the above AND pass initial inspection! After the cabinets and countertop were installed, they came back to install our new appliances and around our sink area (faucet, garbage disposal, etc) and touch up drywall paint where needed. We could not have completed this project without them. Jamil was super communicative throughout the entire process, made helpful suggestions, and treated our home and this project as if it were his own home. We couldn't be more thankful for Jamil and his team, and we'll be hiring him for any future home projects. read more

I can't say enough good things about JHRemodeling. After a family emergency kept me from the job site, Jamil and his team took full ownership of my project with zero hiccups. They remodeled my shower (including tile work, new floor pan and subfloor repair), installed a ceiling exhaust fan, removed the old popcorn ceiling and repainted previously poorly painted walls. On the technical side, they handled all plumbing and minor electrical upgrades and navigated the City permitting process with no stoppages or delays. Here's the best part for me, Jamil kept me in the loop with detailed video updates and great communication. Jamil's help and professionalism made an otherwise really stressful time worry‑free. Pricing was very reasonable. If you want a team you can trust to manage your remodel end-to‑end, use JHRemodeling, you won't regret it. read more

Jamil and his crew were polite, communicative, and incredibly hard-working throughout the entire process. He was very easy to work with as well. They installed and painted new interior doors in our home, along with handling a variety of other handyman tasks we needed done--all with great attention to detail. What really stood out was their willingness to go above and beyond. When our doors were delivered and left haphazardly in the driveway, Jamil took the time to come by and help move them to a spot out of the rain. That level of care and initiative is rare. I highly recommend Jamil and his team, and we will definitely be using their services again in the future. read more

I asked for a quote for ~100sqft of kitchen floor tile being replaced and they quoted $7600 not including the tile. They also said they'd be waterproofing it, but it's a kitchen floor tile... why does it need to be waterproofed? For the record, the more normal quotes i'm getting are in the $2k range. read more

Jamil and his team did a great job on our Sunroom remodel. Communication was terrific and the job was completed on time. They even go above and beyond to make sure that you are happy with their work. I have had a significant amount of experience dealing with contractors over the past 30 years, and working with Jamil was truly a breath of fresh air. For our master bath shower stall remodel, we interviewed about eight different contractors before deciding to hire him. Selecting a contractor can be a real "crap shoot," but I'm so glad we made the choice we did. I consider Jamil not only a highly responsible and ethical contractor, but those same qualities apply to him as a person. As with any remodeling project, big or small, there are inevitable unforeseen issues, and ours was no exception. In multiple situations, Jamil was fair-minded and willing to go the extra mile, literally and figuratively, in resolving all issues. He was on time for every single appointment, incredibly quick to respond to questions, and remained friendly and personable from start to finish. His pricing was fair and transparent, which stood out during our extensive search. Jamil is one of those rare professionals who truly cares about the quality of his work and the satisfaction of his clients. Thank you, Jamil, for all your tireless efforts! read more

I had a few different jobs to be taken care of and Jamil was able to address each one of them with ease and without any concerns. I really liked his easy going demeanor, skill in addressing each of the tasks and ownership in driving an excellent outcome (evidenced by thinking through what would be the best approach and getting needed material where I didn't have the parts) He installed an external AC enclosure, helped hang a few photo frames and a painting, assembled a garage shelving unit, fixed a few electrical outlets, installed 2 wall book holder shelves and did some caulking in the bathroom. Happy to recommend based on my experience! read more

Jamil and his team did an amazing job on my garage renovation (insulation, dry wall, paint, light installation, added an attic). From beginning to end Jamil was communicative, polite, responsible, honest, and thorough. As a perfectionist myself, I tend to see even small mistakes and blemishes very clearly and am very bothered by them. Jamil was on top of everything and paid attention to all the little details. He takes pride in his work and it is very evident that he wants to do his best. He does not cut corners. Honestly, there isn't really anything with my garage that I don't like. I am totally pleased with the work that Jamil did. I would call JH Handyman again in a heartbeat for any future work on the house. read more

JH responded to my request to install two bathroom ceiling fans / lights. I chose his service for the reasonable quote plus the 5 stars review he has. He recommended to use the Panasonic Whisper fans / lights. I have heard a bit about Panasonic fans and went with his recommendation. His communication was prompt, responsive. The work was completed in about 3+ hours. My old fans were circular and larger than the new fans. Consequently JH has to cut and patch with sheetrock to reduce the opening. He did a good job. At the end, he cleaned up the work space, dispose the old parts and vacuum the bathroom spaces. I am satisfied with his work. However, his work and cost did not include finishing the patch-up work with taping and painting to match the ceiling. I have to get another contractor and to pay extra for that. I assume that is normal, as this is the first time in more than 20 years that I have to replace the fans. I have no other experience to make comparison. read more

Called JH Handyman to fix some electrical outlets that weren't grounded, install a new bathroom fan, a new ceiling fan, and some baseboard repairs. He did an excellent job and was SUPER friendly. He wasn't able to fix all the outlets and ground them (not his fault...wiring in the house is old...he did advise on solutions), but what he did fix looks beautiful and amazing! All the electrical that was out of wack he fixed. The fans he installed look amazing. He came prepared to work (had all the materials, receipts provided), and any damage from the old fan, he patched right up and it looks like a new wall.
