The best remodeling company we've worked with! We've done a few remodeling projects over the years, and I wish we had found Amit sooner. The whole process was smooth, and the final result looks amazing--we're so happy with how everything turned out (we did a bathroom and bedroom remodel). Manny worked hard, was always on time, and easy to communicate with. Amit is just a genuinely nice guy and incredibly easy to work with. We highly recommend Amit and Masterpiece Design & Build. We had them remodel a bathroom and then followed that up w/gutting and rebuilding our kitchen and laundry room a few months later. Each project came out beautifully. One of the best parts about working w/Amit is that he always has the best attitude focused on problem solving and creating a quality project. He is consistently pleasant, as well as his team. We would use them again. read more

Tomer and Amit did a top-notch job with our laundry room remodel. Not only did they complete the build in record time -- about a week following a full tear-down -- they took charge of any and all minor hiccups. (After a set of floor tiles shipped to us broken, Tomer returned them to the store FOR US and picked up a full replacement set the same day.) The total project cost was also lower than we expected. Highly recommend this crew! read more

Hands down the best contractor that I have worked with! You always hear horror stories of remodels and home construction projects-- none of which we experienced with Amit and Masterpiece Design and Build. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Amit and is team. Throughout our remodel they were honest, knowledgeable, respectful, professional, patient, and very communicative. It was easy to put our trust in Amit and his team. I felt they treated our home as though it was their own. They kept the work space very clean and always tidied-up at the end of their work day. They were excellent listeners, open to our ideas, and quick to offer excellent alternatives when we hit those small bumps in the road that happen with remodels. Amit's team had a very high attention to detail and the quality of the work is second to none. We are extremely satisfied with the work that was done during the remodel of our kitchen and bathrooms. We feel very fortunate to have found Amit and will definitely be repeat customers for any work we have in the future. He will be my first recommendation to any friends and family who need work done in their homes. read more

Amit and Masterpiece Construction did a great job on our bathroom model. It looks fantastic! Very high quality and craftsmanship at a reasonable price. The entire process from the estimate to project completion was seamless. Amit also nicely helped us pick out plumbing fixtures - which are so much better than what we had before. Our house was kept very clean throughout and the project was done very quickly. Super happy with the results and we will come back to Masterpiece Construction for any future construction projects. Masterpiece Design & Build - Remodeled bathroom - General Contractors Near Me

Amit and his team did a great job on our bathroom renovations! This was our first major home project, and we heard horror stories of renovations gone wrong, so we were prepared for a bumpy ride. Fortunately, we had a positive experience with Masterpiece and would work with them again for future home projects! We spoke with Amit a number of years ago when we first considered redoing our bathrooms, and when Amit was with a different building group. At the time, Amit stuck out to us as professional, honest, and competent. We decided to hold off on our renovations, but several years later, we reached out to vendors again, remembered Amit, and discovered he moved on to create Masterpiece. We did our due diligence with several other firms and PMs, and decided to move forward with Masterpiece, due to their competitive pricing, answers to our questions around the initial quote, and best PM fit. The greatest challenges we encountered were the delay in receiving the permit to start the work (out of our hands), and some hiccups with the designer. While we went in with an idea of the overall design we wanted, we found that the communication style and attention to detail of our designer was not the best fit. However, after we finalized the design component and were ready for construction, we had a positive experience with the crew. Both bathroom renovations entailed significant layout changes. Going into the project, we were concerned about hidden fees and change orders. While we did end up with some change orders, we knew they were costs we could not have anticipated until construction began, and Amit was transparent and fair around pricing and alternatives. The crew was quick and efficient, and since we did not fully move out during construction, they were very considerate about keeping the renovation areas taped off and sweeping/cleaning the entry areas at the end of each day. Due to some of the design rendering hiccups, there were times where installation locations and heights were not clear, but the crew did their best to doublecheck with us and/or correct areas we were not satisfied with. Throughout construction, if we had questions, Amit was very responsive and kept all vendors and the crew in the loop. Even when the project was nearly complete or fully complete, if we had issues with fixtures or questions, there has been no hesitation to come back and help tweak things. This has been greatly appreciated, and solidified our trust in Amit/Masterpiece for future project considerations. read more

I hired Amit for a kitchen remodel after we had a leak that damaged a lot of the kitchen. He was great at working in a quick timeline since we didn't have much time to plan everything. We then expanded the scope to also remodel both bathrooms and also replace flooring and paint the house interior. In total it took around 2 months, which is fast for this amount of work. Amit was always very communicative and responsive. He helped me with some of the design choices like selecting tile and cabinets, and suggested which vendors to use. When the tile store gave us not enough tile for one of the bathrooms he was able to work with them to get us some extra that same day so we wouldn't be delayed. I had never done a big project like this before so I didn't know what to expect but it ended up going very well and the house looks fantastic. I definitely would recommend Masterpiece for any remodeling projects. read more

Amit and his crew did a great job with our master bath remodeling project. To start with, it was a nice experience working with Amit to get the quote, work with the suppliers, and schedule the work. Then his crew did a great job with the entire project, keeping the nearby place clean while demo and replacement of tiles and plumbing took place. There was minor miss in the grout work, for which Amit and Manny quickly took action and fixed it. I am grateful to them. One suggestion to Amit+Manny - before turning off the main water supply, inform the customer to ensure drinking water is set aside. read more

Amazing communication and service! Masterpiece Design & Build did a great job with the extension of our home. It included ADA In-laws suit, extending master bathroom & walking closet and remodeled hallway bathroom. After doing my due diligence in getting 3 bids, Amit came out lower in terms of money as well as the time it would take for construction. Amit communication is stellar and responsiveness was either immediate or within hours. All the guys involved (and there were several starting with the guys who laid the foundation, to the roof, bathroom etc. worked well as a team). Amit and his team did great with keeping the project moving and with all the permits. We did not have to worry about them at all. You have to keep an open line of communication in terms of expectations. If there is anything Amit will always listen. They delivered results well within the timeframe. And the house looks wonderful! Does not look like an extension at all, it all blended well together. Trustworthy and does gorgeous work - highly recommend. read more

I found Amit and the Masterpiece Design & Build team in early 2025 through Yelp, for a Bathroom remodel project in my home. Masterpiece Design & Build did a phenomenal job. Amit helped me think about a vision and the latest concepts & designs. He went shopping with me and took me to the right places to pick out the right materials and explore options. The team managed the project from start to finish. Apart from going shopping and confirm tiles and choices, I didnt have to do anything else. They owned all aspects of the project and delivered on time. The final product is beautiful, spacious, modern and very much practical. Many months later, I was starting a new business and our General Contractor bailed on us last minute. Amit sent his crew last minute to finish off all the work that was left behind so that we could open our business on time. Highly recommend Amit and Masterpiece Design & Build team. Their work and pricing is straightforward and they will deliver with you have to do very little work. Will be working with Amit & team on many more projects. read more

Amit and his team at Masterpiece are truly wonderful. We had interviewed over ten contractors for our kitchen remodel and received multiple bids, and he was easily our top choice. His communication style, services offered, value of proposal, insight, flexibility, efficiency, and personal engagement with our specific project was invaluable. His team was kind, respectful, hardworking and very polite throughout the whole project. I had to work from home during the entirety of the work, and the length they went to in accommodating our needs was above and beyond. His team was very thorough in ensuring what they did was exactly aligned with our expectations and our vision for the space, and had great recommendations throughout the process when we were uncertain. It started as our whole kitchen remodel, and as we began to enjoy and also trust him and his team with our home, we added additional scope to finish the rest of the house, and are currently planning our final bathroom remodels with him as well. We couldn't recommend Masterpiece enough and are happy to serve as a reference to anyone considering working with them! read more

I am beyond impressed with the exceptional service provided by Masterpiece Design & Build. From start to finish, they exhibited professionalism, expertise, and a genuine commitment to excellence. The team efficiently addressed a challenging issue with water leakage from our upstairs toilet, which had caused extensive damage to our kitchen ceiling. Their meticulous work included drywall ceiling patching, thorough mold removal, and meticulous tile and plywood replacement in the affected area. Not only did they resolve the problem effectively, but they also went above and beyond to ensure that the job was done to the highest standard. I am immensely grateful for their outstanding workmanship and dedication to customer satisfaction. Without hesitation, I highly recommend Masterpiece Design & Build to anyone in need of top-notch home repair services. I will not mention the price but let me assure you it was great and well worth it. Thank you for a job well done! read more

Amit and his team are truly amazing team. They had done beautiful work on both our kitchen and bathroom remodel, especially converting our master bath into a beautiful master walk-in shower. Amit's communication style, services offered, value of proposal, insight, flexibility (especially at the height of supply chain crisis in 2022), efficiency, and personal engagement with our projects was invaluable. His team was kind, respectful, hardworking, clean and very polite throughout the whole project. His team was very thorough in ensuring the work aligned with our expectations and vision, and had great recommendations throughout the process when we were uncertain, such as installing a fire door to the kitchen/garage instead of a standard door so that we may install a hidden spice rack between our built-in oven and the door. These details matter so much. Since we enjoyed our kitchen and (2) bathroom remodel and trusted Amit and his team we asked them to remodel two additional bathrooms. We completed the project last Fall. We highly recommend Masterpiece Design & Build for all your home construction and remodel. read more

Amit is an amazing person to work with. I had my entire house remodeled, kitchen, three bathrooms, laundry, whole house painted and flooring, I can't say how much helpful he was in terms of organizing the workflow and visiting the site all the time. He is on top of the work. Very friendly and helpful, he always responds even he has many things going on, he never left me hanging there, he gives great solutions, he never left anything unsolved. 2700 sqft house was done fully remodeled in less than 3 months! It could have been done faster if I had everything ready. I did one master bath remodeled fully with shower and tub, one guest bath with shower floor tiled, all toilets and floor tile, then house flooring laminate, stairs, a half bath fully remodeled, kitchen fully remodeled, fireplace and lots of plumbing. Truly I couldn't beat his price for the amount of work and stress that I could have if I had gone with multiple contractors. I have done most of my communications from distant, that is how much I trusted his work. He and his team really saved me money and lots of stress. I truly suggest his work. Neat, clean, professional, reasonable price. It is really life saving and easy to work with Amit. Thank you Amit! read more

We worked with Masterpiece to handle the general contracting portion of our kitchen remodel. Amit was a fantastic partner for the duration of the project and they earned every of the five stars we've rated them. Amit's team was easy to work with and communicated clearly every step of the way. This became very important as aspects of our outside Masterpiece's control slipped...and despite the schedule changes his team was very good in collaborating with us to adjust our plans. Ultimately the most important aspect of any project however is the quality and they did a standout job. Amit was very engaged in stopping by to check the work and review any issues we identified to ensure they got addressed. They also worked with us on various custom details including a very complex natural stone archway the has become the feature of the entire kitchen and adjoining room. Amit's team helped us make our dream kitchen a reality and we'll be glad to work with them on future renovations. read more

Amit was the contractor who managed our bathroom project with a different company. He did a great job, so when he started Masterpiece we knew we wanted him to do our kitchen. He and his team did a great job. He was happy to join us at the various stores to pick out tile, fixtures and cabinets. And when the measurements for the cabinets that we did didn't work we had a meeting with the cabinet people. We were 5 minutes late and by the time we got there Amit had moved things around to make it perfect. And his team was outstanding at the actual build. This was a complete tear down of the kitchen and we moved two walls. (One at his suggestion). It was the right thing to do, and we love our new kitchen. read more

This review is long overdue after a full house remodel that includes structural change/wall removal, kitchen & bathroom reconfiguration/remodel, floors/baseboards, fireplaces removal, raising hallway ceiling, garage firewall, electric upgrade, and interior/exterior paint. It was our first-time doing a remodel and we heard some bad stories so we were pretty nervous about who we work with. After some research and 3 interviews with contractors, we chose to work with Amit and his team. The project started from early Feb to mid July 2022. We could not have asked for a better result. - We removed a structure wall to open up the kitchen and the living area. At the time, we were stressed that the ceiling would not be seamlessly flat without a notable belly curve. Amit assured us to not worry and it was done properly. - There were no cost increases from the quote. The only additional cost was due to unforeseen termite repair and tent which was understandable. - The project timeline was good. There was a delay due to two damaged kitchen base cabinets from the cabinet supplier but Amit handled it with them well. We were happy that the full house remodel was completed by 5.5 months during pandemic when it was hard to get anything done. - Amit worked with us to resolve any unforeseen issues. Our original design had 1 door between the family room & the living room and closed out a door. As soon as we closed out one door, we noticed that the view to the backyard got cut off so the backyard seemed to be much smaller. We asked if we can have the door opened up again and his team did it free of charge. - Amit speaks fluent Spanish and communicates very well with us and the construction team. In summary, I highly recommend Amit and his team due to his engineering knowledge, great personality, flexibility and cost/schedule control. I know that I can count on him and his team for a big project throughout the process from the material ordering, installment, coordination, cost and timeline. Thank you for a job well done! read more
