Our home addition project (~300sqft master suite) started out great, with a different company. However, after close to 6 months of delays by the company to start our project (after design/permit stage), the company tried to increase their price by almost 40% even with a signed contract. We said no thank you, and started our search for a new construction company. After meeting with a couple of new companies that we didnt really like, we had the pleasure of meeting Michael at LeCut. He was like a breath of fresh air. We were immediately put at ease regarding our addition project. He was honest, straightforward, and easy going. What a difference! Since we already had our plans and permits ready, all we had to do was switch the permits over which took a little more time but after that, we were ready to go. Prior to the actual start of our project, Michael came by with Osbaldo, the foreman for a run through with our plans in hand. He explained everything to us about how the process would go and what we could expect. Things moved so fast after that. Our project took about 4.5 months from the start of construction to final inspection. The whole process from start to finish was great. Michael and his team were always keeping us in the loop regarding the process, inspections, and if there were any questions that the crew had. Working with Tal, the designer was also a pleasure and he really listened to what we liked/didnt like regarding the final look and flow of our new master bathroom. Did I mention we were living in the house during this time and glamping in the living room! Everyone was so respectful of our space and did their best to minimize all the dust and construction debris to ensure our home still felt like a home and was livable. I really only have good things to say about Michael and LeCut. Large construction projects can be overwhelming, daunting, and expensive. However, the ease and thoroughness at which Michael handled the whole process made our life so much easier. No question went unanswered and he really listened to what we wanted and expected. My home kitchen/Family room remodel contract agreement was in Late February of 2020 with Michael Abovich, the Project Mgr. Due to Covid, there were delays that could not be helped. Most of the work began approx. in the May and June time frame on. It involved a lot of demolition of a large fireplace and also entryway tile and demo. of the whole kitchen.
