Matthew's company transformed our bathrooms and powder room from outdated 80s style to modern spa like oasis. We enjoyed our new bathrooms and appreciated the fabulous work from Matthew's team. Matthew's crew are professional and polite. We lived in the house during the remodeling. They thoroughly proofed the path to the construction site, treated our home with respect, and always cleaned up at the end of the day. They were also flexible to keep the construction during our preferred hours. The crew is also very talented. We especially appreciated the craftsmanship and thoughtfulness of the tiling work in the showers. The communication with Matthew and his team was very smooth. Matthew was able to understand my design vision since the very beginning. He always responded to my questions promptly. And when there are unexpected findings during the project such as when we discovered the one of the toilet cannot be relocated after opening up the floors, he was able to explain the problems clearly and recommend the best solution that's still aligned with my design vision. I want to specially thank our project manager Kenneth. He never cut corners and always made sure the work from the team is of high quality. For example, when we could not find the same baseboard that matches the rest of the house. He hand cutted and painted the baseboards to make sure they are identical instead of getting something that's similar. He also went above and beyond to make sure we can enjoy the new bathroom before Christmas. We are very thankful for the work from US creative builders and would be happy to recommend them.

I'm extremely happy with my decision of choosing US Creative Builders for my home reno project. I'm impressed by the quick turnaround Matthew gave in giving his initial estimate. His price for the project was much more reasonable than other businesses I had spoken too at the time. For any unknowns encountered during the project, both he and Kenneth(the project manager) kept us in the loop and presented the pros and cons along with the detailed broken down expense before starting the work. Even after the work was done, Matthew was always quick to send someone from his team to address any concerns or issues we encountered. They brought almost all my ideas to life the way I visualized it. At the end of the project, Vanessa helped compile all the receipts neatly with proper labels for us to approve. I always feel better choosing businesses that work with their customers to keep them happy and take pride in their work even after getting paid and USC builders is exactly one of them. They did 1.5 bath renovation, complete home repiping, addition of recessed lights throughout the home, new flooring, full interior painting and a skylight installation for us.

We recently did a remodel involving a big change in kitchen layout and adding an additional room and went with Matt and his team and couldn't be happier with the outcome. This was a 6 month long project involving multiple city permits. From the first time we interviewed Matt, we felt that we could trust him with this job. He was quick to understand the project and provided creative solutions without assuming waste. For eg: he suggested we reuse kitchen cabinetry as garage storage. Functional and sustainable! Great way to keep perfectly nice cabinets from the landfill! We had a pretty clear vision of the layout but he was able to guide us every step of the way with inputs on finishing materials. He is also generally very responsive to messages or calls along with being receptive to feedback. He kept us updated on the project as often as we needed and called out delays or issues if any in advance. This helped with realistic project deadlines and finishing on time. I would 100% recommend Matt for small or big construction / remodel projects without hesitation.

Matt built the most amazing and complicated bathroom for us. Extremely high quality and a wonderful engaging experience. I wouldnt let anybody else do such jobs. It's also reassuring that he has a waterproofing business. With bathrooms , you need to make sure you hire someone reliable. Thank you to the entire team!

We wanted to convert our stall shower to a 36" wide deep soaking tub. Because of this, the HOA asked for a contractor that's licensed and insured. It did bump up the pricing from my original contractor who was licensed but not insured. However, you get some peace of mind and the quality is well worth it. I'm the type of person who knows what I want. I had a vision on how I wanted my bathroom to be. Matthew is a great listener and communicator, have a can-do attitude that gives hope to the visions I have. Matthew sent a few guys who specializes in different things each time, to work on different parts of the bathroom. For example, they have their own electrician, plumber, painter, project manager, tile flooring guy and so on. Each one has done a great job. I wanted to call out Majid who was at the project site almost daily to build a lot of my bathroom pieces, he worked til late evening to get things done quickly, thank you Majid. Throughout the project, Matthew also took great care of the quality of the work. He advised us to start using the shower tub immediately so we can let him know in case there might be issues that come up when we try to use it. When there were identified issues, for example on 2 pieces of tiles that were already installed, I thought there was nothing we could do about it. But Matthew said he would send his tile guy, Brian to fix the misalignment issue with the tile. Brian did a great job and fixed the tile. Now they're even again. Thanks Brian! Now, let's talk about the overall final work on the bathroom! My kids and husband are so happy with our bathroom. My younger one kept saying how our bathroom looks like a nice hotel's bathroom. When I showed the pictures to my family, friends and coworkers, they were saying it looks luxurious compared to all other "house bathrooms" they're used to seeing. Lol. Now, they also want to remodel their own bathrooms after seeing mine. I still have more projects needing done for my home. We now have a reliable contractor with we can depend on when we get to those projects at some point. Thanks Matthew & US Creative Builder!

This is the second time I'm working with Matt. In the most recent project, Matt worked on remodelling our condo. I would highly recommend him for his diligence, flexibility, reliability and the quality of work. From the start, Matt was on top of the project, he applied for the permits, got design requirements from us, gave us a list of places where we could select the material and executed on the project. Matt has a hand selected team of people he relies-on to get the work done. Our project was managed by Kenneth, who is extremely good at what he does, easy to work with and accomodating. Our condo turned out to be beautiful and we love it. Matt and his team really care about what they do and I would trust Matt with any future projects.

Matt was a very helpful and responsive contractor through the whole process of our windows/door retrofit job. He was patient with us and always provided us reasonable options to consider. He had very competitive pricing and I think, in the bay area, his company brings some of the best value. Being from SoCal, we have more run ins with fair contractors and Matt is exactly that. Hard to find in NorCal especially. Surveyed two or three others and he was clearly the best option and most flexible in terms of working with or for us. I won't lie, I did some extra touch ups and cleanup after the hard stuff his team did was completed (extra caulking, paint), but that is to be expected. No contractor will do it 100% to ones liking without paying an arm and a leg and everyone is human. But for that reason, I was especially happy with working with Matt because he understood what the major work is and what would be the most cost effective way for us to get our job done. Very rational contractor and if I need other construction work, I will definitely at least consider USC Builders again.

I hired Prime to renovate my kitchen - countertops, backsplash, cabinets, electrical, freezer, etc…read more They also helped install a new bidet toilet for me. Overall the experience was very good; Elijah and Bryan were super friendly and responsive. Eli was very patient and accommodating as we discussed several different potential change orders, from new windows to painting, to other misc. things that popped up. Bryan Luna was especially a pleasure to work with. His attention to detail and proactivity to solve any little thing I mentioned was definitely the highlight of working with Prime. Their contracted electrician, Hector, was great as well. I also think they did a great job building out a cabinet to fit our freezer next to the matching fridge. Their master carpenter managed to salvage our existing wood to make it match perfectly. Definitely better than what I'd expect from even a carpentry specialty contractor. I will mention that it wasn't without some snags. Prime deals in volume so they're very busy. I think because I had delays in sourcing a freezer I ended up not getting a dedicated project manager for some time. We had timeline issues made worse with holidays. This caused cascading delays which inevitably pushed back my move in date a few weeks. When I finally did get a new project manager, they ghosted me (later on I found out they had a family emergency). Eli had to step in again to help. Another thing is that their pricing is quite opaque. The estimate will break down prices by milestones, but they repeated told me that it's not a valuation of the milestone itself. This made it nigh impossible to understand if I wanted to contract out specific pieces of the project (e.g. flooring). Design was OK. I felt that the designer was very busy. Sometimes very responsive (5min replies), sometimes not responsive at all (no reply). I wish I had a better, more thorough back-and-forth session about the intricacies of the design. But we made do. Ultimately, the designer made a render and helped point us to some vendors, but from there we had to make our own selection alone (cabinets, handles, pendant lights, faucets, etc.). I did appreciate her presence when we picked out countertops, though. All in all, I think this was a 4.5 star job, but I'm rounding to 5 because of Eli and Bryan :)

Overall, the project went well, and we're happy with the final results. Bryan, our foreman, was a strong asset to the project. Even though he was managing multiple jobs at the same time, his responsiveness and willingness to go out of his way to address our concerns made a big difference. Because we were home throughout the process, we were able to catch issues early and communicate them directly to Bryan, who consistently followed through to resolve them. What Went Well: * The tile and flooring subcontractors were excellent - their craftsmanship and attention to detail truly stood out. * Bryan, our foreman, was responsive to texts and phone calls, listened to our concerns, and made sure they were addressed. He even designed a bi-fold closet door for us, and helped pick up all the material to build it. * Bryan also took the initiative to handle several unfinished items himself, which we really appreciated. * The post-build cleaners were top-notch and left the space in pristine condition. * Throughout the project, everyone we interacted with was professional, courteous, and conscientious. There were no conflicts or issues, which made the experience comfortable for us. Areas for Improvement: * The timeline was a pain point. While we were originally told the project would take 6-8 weeks, it ended up stretching to 12 weeks. * The design process fell short of expectations. Because Prime's in-house designers weren't available, our design work was outsourced. We only received a full design package for the master bathroom. As a result, we ended up creating our own renderings for the other rooms to help communicate our vision to the team. That said, we were very happy with the design and material selections for the master bathroom they did complete. We just wish the same level of attention and design support had been provided for the rest of the project. * At times, resource availability was limited, likely due to workers being assigned to multiple jobs. This led to workflow inefficiencies and delays. Toward the end of our renovation, our foreman Bryan had to personally step in to complete several tasks, such as installing faucets, shelving, and baseboards. He managed to get it done in between site visits and meetings, which we appreciated, but it also highlighted a lack of available crew to close out the project. Despite these few challenges, the quality of the work met our expectations. We appreciated the team's effort and the final outcome.

Communication was consistent throughout the project, and they were always responsive to any questions or concerns we had. Pricing is transparent: Their quote for labor (demolition and installation) was reasonable and easy to understand. We also received a separate quote for their designer. We purchased the materials directly from shops based on the design, which gave us full control over our budget and choices. Excellent work ethic: The entire team was responsive and courteous. Any question we had was answered immediately. On-site, the crew was professional and did their best to keep the work area tidy, sweeping up at the end of every day, even during the messy demolition phase. Best design support: The designer was excellent. She accompanied us to various stores to select tiles, fixtures, cabinets, and vanities, always pointing out the best price-to-value options. She was patient throughout our decision-making process and truly kept our best interests at heart. Quality first: The project took 8 weeks, which included the Thanksgiving holiday and waiting for city inspections. We appreciated that they never rushed the installation. For example, they ensured the tiles cured properly before moving to the next phase and prioritized a beautiful tile layout over a "quick" one. We are very pleased with the end result and the entire process. Thank you to the Cotfort team for your hard work and the genuine care you put into our home!

All prior interior work in our house had been done by handyman. I really appreciated the communication from our project manager Marc. He created a WhatsApp chat with me and the incredible designer Jocelyn. They were both consistently responsive to any of my questions or concerns -- and opened my mind to design options. Jocelyn spent time in our home, drafted plans, took me shopping, and sourced all the fixtures. From her spreadsheet I was able to find less expensive options for some items. I appreciated the input and control I had on these expenses. Since we needed to move out, I had a tight timeline for the project -- mid October until Thanksgiving. Marc and the team did their best despite City of San Jose delays with inspections. We were able to move back in before the final inspection. Every member of the team was kind and courteous. Marc also did a great job working with the window vendor that specializes in older homes. I'm rating the experience a 4.5 out of 5 for two reasons. I was disappointed that the medicine cabinet, switch plates, and hooks were initially installed unevenly (it was corrected). I expected more attention to detail. And I was disappointed in the wear & tear that happened on my wood floors as well as the overall dust in my dining room. I was warned that things would get dusty -- but didn't understand the extent and would have packed away more things. WISE offers lots of support with design -- they could also offer as part of their package a full cleaning! I offer this feedback to help others calibrate their expectations. Overall it was a positive experience. I waited several months to post this review until I returned from travel and could see how things were settling after regular use. I'm loving the new bathroom and recommend WISE.

The work was excellent, but what really impressed me was the follow-up. A year later, Payman sent his crew back just to handle the little adjustments that come with a house settling. Even years later, he's still helpful whenever I need to get in touch with one of his subcontractors for maintenance. Because of that trust, I hired him again last year for a major remodel of my vacation home, and he didn't disappoint me as always. Payman is easily the most responsive contractor I've worked with, he gets back to every email within 24 hours, no matter how complex the issue is. His project management is top-tier. Highly recommended.
