They did nice flooring and baseboard. They installed the sink and vanity. They fixed my leaky windows. They redid my sub floor. Very clean and professional workers. No gaps in the tile. Finished edges of vanity and toilet with caulking done right. Installed shower door without cracks. Was put in straight. Installed grab bars straight and nook for shampoo. We had a very frustrating experience with this company and unfortunately cannot recommend them. What should have been a simple one-day door installation turned into a 13-day project filled with delays, poor communication, workmanship issues, and even a safety concern that left us uncomfortable in our own home and unable to use our infant son's nursery during that time. Timeline of events: Mon 2/16: Workers were scheduled for 9:30am but didn't arrive until after 1pm. They re-measured the frame, left to pick up doors (which we were told would already be ordered), and returned saying they were too large and needed shaving, pushing work to the next day. Tue 2/17: The worker arrived on time, but after installation we noticed cracks in the frame and a large gap between the doors where they barely latched. We reported it immediately and were told Alberto would come Thursday. Thu 2/19: Alberto worked all day and said there were finishing touches for Friday. We weren't thrilled with the result but were willing to move forward just to get our son's nursery functional again. Fri 2/20: Alberto admitted the installation had been done incorrectly and the damaged frame needed to be completely redone because the doors wouldn't work long term. While we appreciated the honesty, this reset the project timeline again. He said he'd return Saturday morning. Sat 2/21: At around 8:50am the appointment was rescheduled to Monday. Mon 2/23: We texted at 8:40am to confirm timing. Our message was read but not answered until 10:30am, and he didn't arrive until around 2pm due to another appointment. Tue 2/24: More frame work and putty were applied with instructions to allow a day to dry. Thu 2/26: Painters arrived as scheduled, but Alberto said he couldn't come until Friday and gave no clear arrival window. Fri 2/27: We asked for an ETA so we could plan around our 4-month-old's nap schedule. We were told 2pm, but the worker showed up at 1:15pm, waking the baby. He also didn't have proper tools and spent about five hours chiseling wood out of the door by hand just to get the bolts to fit. That same day we also experienced a serious safety concern. One worker used a metal circular saw indoors, sending sparks flying inside our home. When we raised concerns, the foreman dismissed it and incorrectly claimed sparks from cutting metal cannot start a fire. This got me mad and I did raise my voice. Instead of accountability, the conversation became defensive, including comments that they were "doing us a favor" fixing work we never requested- work that was only necessary because of the original installation mistakes. Our attempt to speak with Benny, the GC, was also frustrating. He repeatedly talked over us while saying he wanted to ensure we were happy, which felt disingenuous given the lack of listening or accountability. Sun 3/1: Alberto returned but left again for another three-hour stretch before finally coming back to complete the job. Nearly two weeks later, the doors were finally operational. Afterward we were told they were losing money because the project took longer and required redoing work. That is not the customer's responsibility. From day one we simply wanted the job done correctly. Throughout the process there were missed arrival windows, last-minute schedule changes, safety concerns, and little respect for our time or the disruption to our household. We also had to closely monitor workmanship due to frame damage and installation defects. I'm sure the company will respond, but everything described here is accurate and documented. This experience was exhausting and unnecessarily drawn out. If you value clear communication, punctuality, professionalism, and safe work practices done right the first time, I would strongly caution against using this company. read more

Benny has a wealth of knowledge from experience and a solid crew. He's a friendly guy. Due to unexpected termite damage, a window replacement turned into replacing a wall and a ceiling beam. I kept adding work and they kept doing it in different areas of the house, the guest room, kitchen, and entertainment room. Benny had good suggestions when choices could be made. The only issues were late documentation of some aspects of the remodel and classification of payments near the end of a half-year project. read more

We had our master bathroom remodeled in August/September of 2024. The work consisted of new water pipes (galvanized to copper), strengthened floor, new shower enclosure, new flooring, new vanity and medicine cabinet, re-textured and painted walls and ceiling, and installed new exhaust fans with timer switches in both bathrooms. Ben arrived when he said he would, and returned phone calls quickly. Ben also gave suggestions on how to make the bathroom better - many of which we accepted. I called Ben May 1st 2023 and scheduled a appointment for a kitchen remodel. We had agreed to meet with him May 4th 2023 at 10:00am. He calls me at 9:30am telling me he was going to get here at 11:30am and then send someone else at 2:00pm for the kitchen cabinet's, not taking any consideration that I may have other things to do or other contractors coming for another kitchen remodeling estimate. I told him I couldn't make both appointments because we had agreed to meet at 10:00am and I had another company coming at 11:30. He got bothered and told me just to call him when I wanted to make a appointment again. I told him it's not right that we had scheduled a time already at 10:00am and you decided you want to so up at 11:30am, and at 2:00pm interfering with me picking up my kids and my appointment with another contractor at 11:30am. I kindly told him that if we reschedule, I wanted to make sure that he keeps that time that we agreed, he became upset and told me look I don't need your business find somebody else. After a couple times speaking to Ben and building rapport- He told me he'd get back to me to give me a definite price, talk further on schedule and get things going. NEVER HEARD FROM HIM. His lack of communication and inability to keep his word is unprofessional and will be a NO-GO for me. I wouldn't recommend his business. Latest update from his message: From sending you pictures, giving you measurements, talking about where you reside at, how often you work on your place at Etc... Ben......This will be the last conversation I have with you, I have moved on and hired someone already and for you to not remember within a 1-2 day span of conversation with your potential clients is unprofessional. The guy I spoke with seemed nice enough at the beginning when I called to ask him about doing a couple of simple tasks. We had new counter tops put in and needed someone to connect the drain pipe of the new sink, and connect three wires from the range top to the junction box. I would have done it myself, but I have a back that frequently gives me trouble and cannot spend time under the cabinets doing what needs to be done. The entire project shouldn't take more than a couple of hours if I were doing it, even less for someone who does this type of work for a living. He spoke with my wife and quoted her $350 for the work. I thought it was a bit high for such a small project, but okay, it would save me from possibly hurting my back. He called her back the next day while I was at work and told her that he had misquoted the job and it would be $500, and that it would have to be paid in cash. (red flag for me!) We found someone else (licensed and bonded) to do the job for $200. Needless to say, we didn't need Ben There to do the work for more than twice as much. I called him back to let him know that his price was way too high and he got rude, then hung up on me. Would I ever use his service or recommend him? I'd say that it is EXTREMELY unlikely. read more

Hired Benny to repair my Bay window after reading all the wonderful reviews. Now that my blood pressure has returned to somewhat normal... If you decide to hire him, BE SURE that the contract he writes spells out exactly what is to be done and that if there are any changes during the project, the contract needs to be rewritten. In my case his "labor only" contract included "removal and reinstallation" of the Bay window, "replacing the interior bench top and trim", and "replacing the exterior trim". ALL of which were not done or did not have to be done. This obviously reduced the amount of labor and material needed. When I asked, he absolutely refused to negotiate and charged the full original price, plus all the materials (you will be charged for every screw and nail his crew buys, and keeps everything leftover). I also had to finish sealing framework so it would be watertight. And finally, the only warranty for the work done was verbal. Nothing guaranteed. (My mistake) Not the "it will be beautiful" job he had me sign up for. But I will say his crew was hard working, professional and very courteous Very disappointed as I had hoped to hire him for two follow-up jobs that were worth a lot more. read more

I spoke with Ben several times on my bathroom floor replacement project. The main problem with this guy is that he will tell you what he will do, and, he will promise to call you and then not do so. He strung me along for a week with daily callbacks, and promises to come out and see the project, give me an estimate, and get started. He never ONCE called back when he promised he would, and then when I left a message, he did not even have the courtesy to call me back. To add to this, when a good contractor did come out to estimate the project, I presented some of the procedures that Ben had suggested for the repair. He informed me that these are the types of things that bad contractors do to take "short cuts" and he has had to repair these types of things plenty of times. I would not in any way shape or form recommend this guy and would recommend you to pass over him and go to someone professional and competent that does NOT cut corners. read more

Removed and replaced the damaged sub-flooring and installed new linoleum flooring and base boards all within a two day period.
