The showers were only 2-3 feet of space, dark and uncomfortable to shower in. Hardly any vanity space and the places the toilets were, were well, not the most spacious. We knew eventually we would have to renovate the bathrooms. Well, when we met Yaniv, we hired Shefer Builders to redo our roof. I could tell instantly he was an extremely detailed person. This filters down to the staff. The entire staff!! Talking with Yaniv during the roof project, we decided to have the company redo our bathrooms. This included a 3D designer, and a mobile showroom that came to the house so I could choose all the fun stuff. Everyone is so nice and comfortable to talk to about design and pricing. In addition, the crew and foremans were very helpful in explaining what they were doing throughout the enire projects. As for the kitchen: we had a dishwasher go bad and it leaked water all over including out the back of the house!! Well....perfect time to have Shefer Builder renovate the kitchen!! What a continued blessing to have the crews come back again and help in such a fine way. I have always loved cooking and baking but even more so now with my beautifully desinged, perfectly crafted and functional kitchen!! They give so much attention to the little things I did not even notice! Exceptional quality from everyone!! The crews were hard working, fun and really made the process a joy to experience. We will definately be calling to use them for any further things we need beautified at our home!!

He allowed us to control the design and appliance choices and readily provided in areas we were unsure of (ie, lighting, sources for countertop slabs, etc). He and his team were very responsive over the course of the project from initial consultation through final touch ups and got the job done in a reasonable amount of time given that it was started during the holidays (right before Thanksgiving and finished by New Year's). The area was kept clean and organized, workers courteous and the team communicated with us each step of the way. The final product is exactly what I had envisioned. We will not hesitate to reach out again to update other areas in our house or recommend Shefer.

As first-time homeowners taking on a project of this scale, we were honestly a bit overwhelmed at the start and knew we needed a contractor we could fully trust. From day one, BNO made the process feel manageable and brought our vision to life. They were patient, open to our ideas, took the time to explain each step, and helped us feel confident in the decisions we were making. Once we started physically seeing things come together, BNO was receptive to our change requests or additional work at fair costs to do what's right and what's best for the house, especially as it was not just a flip but planned to be our forever home. They ensured things were built the way we wanted and that we were happy. Throughout the project, BNO was professional, responsive (especially to our millions of questions) and transparent about the scope, timeline, and costs. They guided us through design choices and their quality of work really stood out. Communication was consistent, and we always knew what was happening and what to expect next. Like any large project, there were some bumps along the way but what stood out was that whenever an issue came up, BNO was proactive about finding solutions and focused on moving things forward rather than letting problems stall progress. They handled challenges responsibly and made sure we were satisfied with the outcome. Most importantly they orchestrated all the city inspections and always passed with minor comments, if any, that were easily addressed. Invoices always came when expected and never before the milestones were met. Overall, we're very happy with the results and especially grateful to have worked with a contractor we could trust for our first major remodeling experience. We finished in a little less than a year from demo to final which is very reasonable for the amount of work we did. We would absolutely recommend BNO to anyone considering a home renovation or addition.

From start to finish, the experience was professional, organized, and far less stressful than we ever expected a project of this scale to be. Ethan, our project manager, played a huge role in the success of this renovation. From the very beginning. Starting with the initial design discussions, he was proactive, transparent, and incredibly detail-oriented. He took the time to really understand our vision while also offering thoughtful, practical guidance based on his expertise. Ethan helped us refine the layout, select materials, and choose finishes that made sense both aesthetically and functionally, all while keeping the project within budget, which we greatly appreciated. One thing that really stood out was how thorough the planning phase was. Everything was carefully thought through before construction even began, which helped prevent unexpected issues or surprises along the way. That level of preparation gave us a lot of confidence and made the entire process feel smooth and well-managed. Throughout the project, Ethan coordinated seamlessly with designers, engineers, inspectors, and the construction team, handling all the moving parts with ease. Communication was consistent and clear, and we always felt informed about what stage the project was in. Yonathan proved to be an amazing project manager from start to finish. Completing a project of this scale requires placing immense trust in the contractor -- trust that the project will be seen through to the end, that the outcome will be functional, and that any unexpected issues will be handled responsibly. Yonathan understands the level of trust involved and does not take this responsibility lightly. From the first meeting, I found it easy to communicate with Yonathan. He took time to listen and fully understand our vision for the remodel. Throughout the process, he continued to welcome feedback, kept us updated on the project's progress, and notified me about issues that inevitably arise. When issues did surface, he was transparent and proactive about finding viable solutions. When I had questions, he replied promptly. I appreciated his honesty and found him reliable and trustworthy. I also sensed that he always had our best interests at heart. When the city unnecessarily required a new driveway, he advocated on our behalf until the request was revoked. He is well connected and was able to help me source materials from various vendors to help me stay within my budget. With his help, we were able to build an updated space that is more functional and comfortable for our family. We look forward to making new memories and enjoying this new space for years to come!

Their communication was excellent, they stayed completely on schedule and they kept us, very much, involved in every decision. Tony was great in overseeing the whole project while Amit was on top of day-to-day progress. Highly professional! NuHome's flexibility (even creativity) in working around these delays got the job done. Great service!

We hired NuHome Remodeling for our house remodeling which started with addition and 3 bath room…read moreremodel, but ended up with pretty much full house remodel including the full kitchen remodeling as well. The project managers that we had worked with were Tony, Issac and Amit. The experiences that we had with the team were exceptional, Tony and his team leads were very professional, patient, attentive to details, and transparent to the cost. They were excellent in communications and never delay responding to our messages, usually within a few minutes or within hours for any questions that we ask at any time of the day. In terms of services, they are like one stop shop that includes almost everything that we need from a contractor for remodeling so it really saved a lot of our time from talking with different people for different phases of the remodel. Their team has the architect who started with the floor plan with us, with a lot of back and forth discussions and our inputs taken into considerations. After we agreed and finalized the plan, they submitted it to the city for the permit. Since the architects and the construction team are under the same leadership of NuHome, in our case, Tony, this saves a lot of later potential integration problems between the architectural plans and the executions of the construction. During the construction, there were a few times that we changed our plans, for example, changing the size of the closet and pantry, Tony and the team were accommodating it; and in the middle of the construction, we were also changing the type and the number of outlets and the spot lights, Tony and the team were also incorporated that as well. We also had changed the plan for the TV ascent wall, and the team were fully in corporation and working with for the change, which turned out to be beautiful. Another area that really pleased and benefit us was NuHome has excellent interior designer who had worked with us closely in designing the bathrooms, and helping us picking up the right materials that worked perfectly for us, this saved us so much potential headache as we pretty much knew nothing in this field. The three bathroom designs turned out beautifully and exceeded our expectations. We would definitely attribute this to the team deep dedication of putting customers' need first, in addition to the construction team's skill set. The team has made sure to take care of our need from the very beginning to the end of the project, for little things like making sure we have the new lock after the whole project is done is even within their considerations, so we are moving into our new home feeling happy, comfortable and safe. Thanks so much to the team for their excellent work, and we are definitely going to recommend NuHome Remodeling.
