I contacted Luis at EarthEye to re-plant our whole front yard after hardscaping was done bc of all the 5-star reviews. All of the glowing reviews they have on here are very well deserved. The whole crew has been phenomenal from day one. Luis is very easy to work with, and his prices are fair. He helped us finalize the plant list and made great recommendations. The crew acquired and placed about 30 different plants, and hooked everything up to our new irrigation system. They showed up and finished the work when they said they would. Six months later, every single plant is healthy and thriving. Because the initial project turned out so great, we switched to EarthEye for biweekly yard maintenance also. Similarly, the crew is dependable, Luis's communication is always prompt and clear, and they do a great job every time. I can't recommend these guys enough. read more

I am so impressed with this company! From the moment I met Luis, I knew he understood what I was hoping to have done . The landscaping at my home had been redone several years ago, but sadly, has been neglected. I needed to prepare it for a life celebration for my husband who has recently passed. They came in with a full team, replanted what had died, trimmed up what was overgrown, and generally worked a miracle! I highly recommend this company! The integrity, the passion, and the willingness to, as he put it, "treat it like it was his own property", was outstanding. I have since signed them on to be my regular gardeners. I anticipate they will treat the property, that my husband and I worked so hard to create, with the love and respect that it deserves. read more

We could not be more impressed with Luis and his Dad. From the very first day on the job, they started in to transform our very neglected property. They paid close attention to every bush and plant. We are already so excited to work with them. We have signed up for bimonthly maintenance, but we soon hope to implement Luis's wonderful landscaping ideas . He is so easy to work with and is very considerate of any budget limitations. I would highly recommend EarthEye Landscape to anyone for maintenance or landscaping projects. They are honest, friendly and very hard working . read more

Excellent service from the start! I was looking for a gardener for regular maintenance and also to help treat some diseased shrubs. Luis replied right away and set up a time for a free consultation the following day. Afterwards he emailed me quotes for the initial landscape clean up and regular 2x/month maintenance. Both quotes were reasonably priced. 3 days later, they came out to to the initial clean up - trimming a long row of overgrown shrubs, treating it with eco-friendly products, and cleaning up the rest of the front and back yard. My yard looked amazing! Now I understand why Luis and his team are so highly rated - great communication, quality work and a very positive/friendly attitude. Looking forward to the monthly maintenance that will keep my yard looking great. read more

These guys were great! My yard was a mess from lots of winter rain with days of sunshine in between. Weeds were everywhere and my shrubs and trees were overgrown. Luis and his team came in the morning and by early afternoon, everything was immaculate. Weeds pulled, leaves cleaned up, hedges and trees trimmed, bushes shaped and vines cut back. All the trimming was expertly done, from my overgrown bougainvillea, to my rosebushes and rhododendrons. Thank you, thank you to Luis and his team! You all did a great job. read more

Everything went absolutely perfect. Definitely trust and hire this team! They are absolutely wonderful to work with. They are very design oriented , everything had to be perfect. I was looking for a Landscaper to give me ideals on my front and rear yard designs. I had multiple quotes on my projects but when Luis and his team arrive I smiled knowing I found my team! We discussed the project with them making great recommendations along the process. We went forward with the project, when they completed my project I didn't want to leave the area. I almost camped out that evening it looked so great. The plants and sod they used was of high quality They communicated along the way, keeping us involved in our project which we felt part of the team. We also decided to go with their monthly service so I could continue to have a relationship with this great team. They put a new meaning for a "Certified Professional" read more

Luis was referred to me by a friend who gave raving reviews, and I can see why! Luis and crew really helped transform my yard, including removing several tons of ugly broken concrete and replacing with pavers, mulch and plants. I really appreciated the responsiveness, thoroughness, and willingness to work with me within my budget. I was kept well apprised of the project along the way, and am very happy with the results. read more

My yard had been neglected of proper care for awhile now from the previous landscapers and I stumbled upon Luis's business here on yelp. He was super professional, quick to respond and extremely communicative throughout the process. He came by to view the condition of my landscaping and was able to give us a reasonable quote for a large clean up of the front & back yard. They came by on time as scheduled and did an incredible clean up that was much needed. Luis & his team were very meticulous and I HIGHLY recommend working with them! read more

I was referred to Luis by the previous owner when I bought the house, and his team has been maintaining our landscape ever since. Luis is super easy to work with. From my initial request for info all the way through to the completion of our landscape project, EarthEye Landscape provided excellent communication and great results. Luis was easy to work with, offering ideas and options to make our yard into what we wanted. He and his crew hit the nail on the head. Everything went to schedule. All work was completed with a thoroughness and care I seldom see from businesses these days. The whole crew was easy to communicate with. If you want the job done right the first time, with great communication and results, these are your guys. I highly recommend EarthEye Landscape. read more

We worked with Luis and his team to clean up our heavily overgrown yard in Redwood City and install a simple drought-tolerant landscape with drip irrigation. Right away, I appreciated Luis's honest, friendly attitude and his responsiveness via email and text - he has been so easy to work with! Both times they've come to work on our yard, Luis and his team have arrived promptly early in the morning and finished their work by midday, leaving our yard neat, clean, and much nicer than it was before (and they didn't shame us for letting the weeds get super out of hand!). Without much direction from us, they used their own creativity to install some flagstone pathways using leftover flagstones we already had from a previous project, mulch, and a fun variety of plants that don't need supplemental water. We are looking forward to having our yard up-kept by EarthEye on a monthly basis so it stays beautiful going forward. read more

Due to ongoing drought, we applied to the SCVW rebate program to remodel the front yard into a drought resistant landscaping. We could set up a free estimate in less than a week. Luis, the owner and his father, who is very knowledgeable, listened carefully what we wanted and made a landscape design accordingly. Luis is very accessible and responded quickly through texts answering all of our questions. Luis and his father picked the plant selections which satisfied the rebate requirement. The installment day was set quickly as soon as we got the approval from the SCVW. They removed old bushes, lawn, the sprinklers, and planted the plants and did the drip lines in a day. Now our front yard looks nice. We highly recommend Eartheye Landscape. read more

Luis and his crew are amazing. We had embarrassingly overgrown front and back yards, with out of control shrubs and vines. They showed up a few minutes early, got right to work, and transformed the yards from an embarrassment to something beautiful. Luis was also incredibly responsive when we requested a quote via Yelp. If you're looking for a professional crew to help maintain your property, I definitely recommend EarthEye Landscape! They have been helping me maintain my property once a month for almost 2 years now. During all this time, Luis has been super professional, proactively reaching out ~3 weeks ahead of time to let me know when my next service is. I have never had to ask if they were coming, nor have I ever been surprised by any additional charges. If I have concerns, or need something specific done, Luis is always super responsive, and always tells me the price upfront. TL;DR Go with EarthEye Landscape! read more

Eartheye Landscape Luis and his father have been taking care of our garden the past year and the experience has been great. I've went through a few gardeners and by far Luis and his father is the most professional and dedicated Gardners that would take care of your plants like it was their own. We have a few large sycamores on our property that have been shedding all year round. Luis and his father always arrive on time cleaning up all the garden of leaves and twigs but most importantly they still find time to prune and take care of other plants in the garden. It's great working with them, they're always understanding, great to communicate with and gives great plant advice. If there was any issues they would take care of it right away! As a person who's heavily invested in our home garden, I would highly recommend them. read more

Big thanks to Luis and his crew for today's gardening. Both the front and back yards look fabulous!

Having just bought a huge property with a front yard that was bare and in need of color, I made a decision to find a landscape contractor. I did not have prior experience in any landscaping projects and what they entail. I made my searches and have come across a couple that (I will not mention them here) were only interested to tell me they only do "BIG projects" with a minimum charge of 30K. I was put off by the slighting attitude of these "big time" landscaping contractors when I was talking on the phone with them. They were only interested in whether we can afford them. I asked around but was not lucky. Then I searched here on Yelp and decided to trust the yelpers and read their reviews. I am a pretty good reader of between the lines. I took a chance and sent a message to EarthEye Landscape who I saw homeowners like me have very positive feedback. I looked at EarthEye's profile and also checked their website. And in a matter of minutes after I sent a message on here, I received a response. Next thing was an actual phone conversation with Luis - who promptly told me he would be happy to meet me at the property (at no cost!). Luis and his father, Pastor were very humble, knowledgeable, and hardworking. Their passion was (is) infectious that it will inspire one to find what you want to do and be successful and profitable in it. Given their company is new (one year some), some may doubt their expertise. But because Pastor's history of loving and nurturing plants and the earth, he has obviously passed this on to his son, Luis, at 21 is doing what it takes to be successful as an entrepreneur. Both father and son looked and walked our property and listened intently to my vision and even my lack of knowledge, but gave their advice to what would be best for our property. I could write more, but I will say this: There are many landscape contractors that we could have hired and paid at any price. But EarthEye gave us their time, passion, experience, vision, recommendations and their attitude of humility, respect, and pride! Our beautiful property now has over 470 newly planted plants (flowering, ferns, etc), a brand new irrigation system, two walkways with beautiful stones that compliment the earth, newly pruned trees, and a promise of beautiful and colorful garden (with their continuing maintenance of the property). Oh yes, their price is really good if I had not mentioned that yet. read more

AMAZING landscapers! When we bought our home 3 years ago, I needed a professional to do everything from keeping our front and backyard trimmed to nourishing the plants and trees. Luis and his dad are knowledgeable and extremely professional. The crew is reliable and working with Luis is a breeze - he's organized and we communicate via text (my preference). They even check on the sprinklers periodically and give us a discount when they have to fix/replace something. I'm a loyal client and cannot recommend them enough! read more

We just switched our yard maintenance from another highly-rated-on-Yelp gardener to EarthEye .... there is no comparison! Luis and his father spent one day cleaning up our large front and back yards, and they haven't looked so good in years. Even better, they seem to really understand plants... for the first time in ages, I didn't feel any need to supervise or explain what to shear vs clip, and what what a relief that is! I look forward to their ongoing maintenance to keep our yard beautiful and maybe a recommendation or two on new plants to buy! read more

Luis and his team did amazing work. We hired them to maintain our yard in our new home. They were on time and did a fantastic job. The yard looks pristine and we got compliments from our new neighbors. They did everything they said they were going to do - prune plants, set up drip system, apply fertilizer, de weed, trim trees all without me having to supervise. They also advised on what we're good flowering plants to keep and what to remove based on our tastes. Highly recommend EarthEye landscape. read more

Don't look anywhere else to get your garden done. Luis is really great to work with and consults with you every step of the way. Before I got in touch with Luis, I had 3 people due to come and see my garden to give me a quote. None of them turned up and didn't even let me know they weren't coming. When Luis texted me the morning of our appointment to ask if we were still meeting, I saw it as a great sign. He turned up when he said he would, and gave me a really great quote. My yard was in a terrible state after months of neglect, but now it looks amazing! I am so happy that I got Luis to do the job. My garden is a work in progress and I'm really looking forward to working with him in the future to get it the way I want and to keep it maintained that way. Eartheye is a really nice professional team to work with. They are a father-son team speak English and Spanish. They took their work seriously and really stand behind their production. Our yard looks a complete mass since we just moved in this rental place, and they come in for a free but very detailed assessment before they start their work. They take care of the garden for a great price as well. I would highly recommand them to you if you just want to have someone to take care of the yard which your minimum involvement. They also fixed our pipe heads for free as some of them are old and leaking before the reseeding as well. Attached a photo of the garden after the clean-up, and pardon our look as the grass are still growing but before that, there are just random weeds and bush all over this place! read more

So much more then just mow grass and blow leaves! I appreciate their work and professionalism.

I haven't had anyone touch my yard since July, and it's now January. I decided I needed to find a new landscaper and EarthEye came out quickly to assess my property. They were on time, so courteous, and very friendly. The pricing was extremely fair and I hired them on both to do a cleanup and tree trimming, and ongoing maintenance. They came out and blew my expectations away. They cleaned up everything, removed some rose bushes, trimmed the trees and just made the place look amazing. My property now looks so great, and EarthEye let me know what's coming over the next few maintenances (fertilizing, weeding, etc) I wholeheartedly recommend them. read more

I have been using them for 3 years, Responsive, good value, nice people, highly recommended.

I have not been able to work in my yard for 2 years because of medical problems. Had a blow and go guy but it was time for a change. So after three interviews I was impressed with Luis's positive personality and presentation. Could he live up to his promises? He did. Luis and his father tore out all my dead weeds, dug up plants that had died, switched some potted plants around, trimmed all my bushes and deadheaded my plants that lived in spite of my neglect. I'm very delighted with the results. Lewis and his father are going to be doing a bi-monthly maintenance including fixing sprinklers, taking care of my other request and re-planting my empty pots. Hopefully, in the fall we're going to change my front dead lawn to a contemporary Mediterranean rock look. I'm delighted to have found EarthEye Landscape. read more
