Its been a couple months since my 1st post on Quality Green - Couldn't figure out how to just update my previous review so here's my final-final. I wanted a lawn/mow free yard, including lots of tan bark, landscape weed barrier, drip system, with lots of drought tolerant plants, water timer and any work needed with pipes/existing sprinklers. I also wanted a small patio area in the front for early morning coffee. We also briefly discussed the possible correction to a VERY bad partial attempt at a pergala/covered patio in my backyard (by someone else that was fired 1/2 way through) . Ozzy and team completed the (original) job in appx 5 days. There were some change orders as we traveled through the process but Ozzy was always polite and accommodating with my questions and adjustments (as I madly Googled info on all of this: what did i know about landscaping :) My front and back yards had been very neglected for some time. QG started by removing a couple inches of my beat up lawns and replacing with new top soil. The gentleman who handled all heavy equipment / paving suggested correcting the soil on the side of my house so water travel downgrade, away from my foundation - great idea! and I've included a pix of that. The small front patio went in (I love coffee in the morning sun) I also asked for a walkway that crosses the yard from left to right. These were done with costs in mind and I am VERY pleased with the outcome. As for the front and back yards, new top soil and landscape weed barrier were laid. Adjustments to pipes and pre-exsiting sprinklers were completed for the drip system and the auto-timer was set up. All the main tubing went in and both lawns were mostly covered with black tan bark. I left 1/3 of my back yard to plant a low maintenance ground cover to replace grass. The day-of the tan bark pickup the vendor was out of the small bark so rather than postpone I just moved forward with the large size. I will say I do think the small bark would have been a better look for residential but that can be corrected down the line if I care to. Except for a couple of adjustments this basically completed the yard work. Due to some scheduling bumps I didn't have plants ready for planting but Ozzy's team would have done that if I had. He did return to do the runner tubes to the plants in front and back and make an adjustment to the one sprinkler in the back for the ground cover. Things went so well I contracted to have my back patio finished by the same person who did the patio and pavers. Originally this job was to just put up the polycarbonate roofing panels but his recommendation was to correct ALL the bad work done by the previous "contractor". This was absolutely the best advise!! Yes, it was more $$ but what a great job he did and it was the RIGHT recommendation. That patio had been in limbo for 5 months while I tried to find someone I could trust. I'm sure many of you know what I'm talking about! Some of my pictures show the a little of the very poor work and then the finished patio roof a little bit - I'm SO happy with the final outcome. It's difficult to start a new business, it's difficult to find and keep people as good as your own intentions. This review is primarily for responsiveness. The gardeners that were sent to provide us with service do a good job of maintaining the yard, however reaching Ozzy is the office is so difficult and their response rate is pretty low once the service is established. Even when I called to cancel the service the person who answered the phone said they will cancel it - no questions asked about why or if they could do something. For the amount you pay monthly to them I would expect better communication and responsiveness. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would, as the word Quality, is definitely not what you will get! I am not sure how the other reviews are so positive, but my wife and I have been frustrated every time they came out. They are not monitored, and left to their own decisions, but with previous instructions on what we expected, and needed. They will do about 1/4 of what they should be doing. What is the purpose of having a gardener that hasn't got time to do what is needed? There are two of them. We will be finding someone else, who knows how to cut properly, and also gives time for weeding. They spend approx., 20 mins. which is insufficient for a property of this size. They should not have taken the job, when it requires at least an hour, . This property has a lot to keep up with. They will say they will get it next time they come out. Then why come at all, if you can't get it done right the first time? Suppose it all comes down to $$$$, they make off this. They barely trim bushes or hedges, and after it's all done, you can't even tell it's been cut. Slapdash, sloppy work, and only HALF the garden gets worked on. Absolutely money down the drain! I contracted with them a few months ago and was originally very happy. As time went on I became more and more disappointed in their work. The do the bare minimum. I had a broken irrigation pipe and it took them a month to fix it, even after I sent them multiple messages requesting that the do the repair. They were supposed to be out every 2 weeks but no one has shown up al, this month. All attempts to contact them have failed. But I still received an invoice, which I will not be paying. I'm not going to pay for services I did not receive. Now I'm going to have to find a new gardener that can come out right away. read more

I just had my backyard, front yard and driveway remodeled with Quality Green, I am very happy with their service! I will highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a crew with high quality work, great communication and decent price. I found Quality Green through online search, and Quality Green stood out with the most number of good reviews. In the first meeting with Ozzy, I got practical and great suggestions to redesign my back and front yard which fit into our budget. I received several design options visual simulation in a couple of days and got the quote in a week. I really appreciate the quality of the work Quality Green has delivered. Greg's craftmanship on pavers is first class, paying attention to a lot of details. During the project, some planned design was found not feasible, and the crew was able to adjust in time to make sure the end results were meeting expectations. I also appreciate that Quality Green crew was willing to do extra to make our experience beyond expectations. We had many rocks from a pond we used to have and did not know what to do with them. The crew was able to come up with multiple great ideas to make good use of them, including building a small yard boundary wall, making a circle around our focal point lemon tree, and scattered in front yard rock river, all look great! They also fixed our sunk stepping stones in the lawn, and a cracked in the wall without asking for additional charge. The crew came to work on time everyday, and sometimes come over the weekend to take care some small tasks. Since our backyard dose not allow big machine to enter, most of the work were done manually and took the crew a bit more time to finish everything. But the crew worked extra hours to have the overall project finished in 2.5 weeks. I will keep working with Quality Green for the maintenance which they also offer in their service. I have held off writing this review for a while in the hopes that Quality Green would respond to my phone calls and emails (but to no avail). I met Ozzy and Marc in person two weeks ago when they came to have a look at our front and back yards and irrigation system. The idea was to do a major irrigation "tune-up" and new/revised planting. Ozzy and Marc were great - two intelligent young persons who seemed to have a lot on the ball - just the kind of business you want to support. We had a nice meeting and they took pictures of the current landscaping with the promise to give us their ideas and an initial estimate of cost in short order. I sent them my email address (by text and by email to their online address) and called numerous times to reach them, including to a mobile phone number where I had previously talked to Marc. Despite these efforts and leaving many voice mails there was no response or acknowledgment of any kind. If they had said "we are delayed" or "something unexpected came up" I would not be writing this review. We had our backyard overhauled; basically it was a bunch of weeds and an old garden cage, and this team turned it into a beautiful high quality lawn + edges with a totally new irrigation system. See attached photos. These guys worked incredibly hard and delivered within an efficient time frame a very high quality landscaping product. They consistently went the extra mile, doing what was right, not just what I asked, since I didn't really know the details. For example they put in extra effort to move dirt across the yard to make it more level. They replaced parts of the irrigation system which could have been ignored but did it 'cause it was the right thing to do. The trimmed trees and bushes I didn't ask for, but was totally needed and they did as conscientious workers. They cut up the old garden box neatly and put it in the side yard (I asked them). One guy came in to wrap up the job faster and dragged along his girlfriend on his day off (she helped); this just shows the level of effort and dedication. (The girlfriend mentioned that they love what they do.) Several weeks after the install I asked Martin how I should mow the lawn and he gave me tips on how to do it right (totally cool, because that saves me money). I think the quality is so high for such a reasonable price because it is a strong family business, 3 cousins who get along, and who have been in the business for a long time (passed down from a father). So I'd say if you can get these guys, totally do so; they are experts and they are the best. In this case, smaller = faster = efficient = quality! read more
