We were looking for someone to do some landscaping work for our rental property and our home in West San Jose and got a hold of Carlos. After looking at our properties and understanding what we want to do, Carlos provided a few proposals per our requests and his estimates listed all the details and his quotes were very reasonable. We accepted his proposals and he started to work on our projects as soon as he became available. He and his crew always showed up at 7:30 AM and started to work until mid or late afternoon. He fixed 4 sprikler stations very quickly, tested all the zones and decided the approach on where to convert a sprinkler head to a dripping system and installed over 250 feet of drip line and over 50 emitters in our rental property. He also replaced an 8 ft section of an old fence with brand new wood panels and got everything done in two days. Then he came to work on the front yard of our home, tilled the soil, removed weeds, leveled the ground, planted a couple of trees and a few plants, then coverd the ground with heavy duty weed block and put 3/4" red lava rocks we selected from his samples on the surface. Further more, he installed a new solar powered sprinkler station to control the drip emitters throughout the yard. Unfortunately, they took our front bushes down to the nubs as well pulled out a bush plant that had been planted when we first bought the house 3 months prior. The bushes in the front took a year to grow back. Given that incident, I sent them a video of our back bushes asking for the lightest trim, since they give us coverage, and when I came home I saw that they took them down to the nubs as well. I was extremely frustrated and let Carlos know, but was given hardly an apology. Shortly after we were told they were raising their prices on us. They hadn't been doing our wkly service for a year.
