Started the process with Julio who came out and provided a price estimate, we ended up talking to other contractors and about 6 weeks after the first meeting with Julio we signed the contract. They started the work about 2 weeks after that (huge plus as some other contractors had months wait time). Oswaldo and team came by and dropped off their equipment and started working the next team. I was looking to put artificial turf in my backyard for a playground, and several other places I contacted just offered to put a turf with thicker pile height, though I had read that playgrounds should have extra padding underneath. When ATS came to give me an estimate, they immediately recommended to add padding underneath, which gave me peace of mind that they knew what they were doing and had experience with playgrounds. Their team is very responsive and professional, and the contract very clearly detailed all the steps involved, including digging down 4 inches, adding weed barrier and base material, then padding and finally turf. The process took almost 3 days but the cost was about the same as other companies who only planned to clear the area and install turf in 1 day without digging down further and adding padding. When the crew worked, they put down protective material to avoid damaging my pavers with their equipment. Afterwards, they removed all debris and even helped me spread the mulch that they removed around the rest of the yard so the whole yard looked nice.
