We hired Mr. Ramos to landscape the area between our main house and the ADU. After the ADU construction was completed, the area was left as dirt. Listening to our ideas, Mr. Ramos came up with a plan that would cover the dirt with artificial turf, steps and a patio. He came up with a great solution to provide access to the sump pump which is located under the patio. All of it turned out great and the price was reasonable for the quality of work done. Mr. Ramos was very communicative over the entire process to make sure that the project met our needs. I didn't mention before that he also added a drip water system along the side of our house and planted 20x hedge plants along the fence line which will eventually become a really nice hedge row. read more

Great experience with Heber, his team and his wife for flattening backyard patio flagstone pavers. Contacted him on Yelp, came in for a reasonable quote. He was easy to communicate with, all via text and Yelp messages. Showed up on time and always very communicative on the timing. Would def recommend and use his service again. read more

Cannot recommend Heber and his team enough. We had initially gotten several quotes -- Hebers was by far the best, in terms of price, readiness to work, and his knowledge was evident from day 1. He transformed our front yard and back yard landscaping and hardscaping into something way better than we imagined. They even finished ahead of schedule. The icing on the cake was dealing with Heber and his team. Every interaction was filled with respect, trust, and quality. Wish I could rate this higher! read more

I don't usually write reviews, but Heber and his team absolutely deserve it! From start to finish, they were professional, hardworking, and incredibly detail-oriented. What started as an uneven, dusty yard has now been transformed into a stunning outdoor space. Heber created a beautiful firepit area, a safe and fun play space for my kids, and completely reimagined both the front and backyard with gorgeous hardscaping and landscaping. His team was always punctual, respectful, and even came to work on some Sundays to stay ahead. They finished the job before the agreed-upon timeline, which was such a pleasant surprise. If you're looking for someone who truly cares about their work and takes pride in what they do, I can't recommend Heber and his team enough. Absolutely five stars! read more

Terrible communication. We planned to meet at 5 and I was waiting at the location for almost TWO HOURS before I finally got a response at 6:30 saying he would be there soon. No updates, no confirmation, nothing. When he finally arrived, NO APOLOGY at all - just said he was late from a previous job and that "his number was there the whole time and you could have called" as if it were on me that I didn't chase him for these last two hours. Honestly ridiculous. The quote was also extremely high (literally $3000+ difference from two other groups that showed up on time and had respectable reviews) read more

We used Ramos and team to put pavers and retaining wall in our backyard back in August. After exchanging few emails with pictures and specification of the work, we were able to get an approximate estimate. They then came over to check out the backyard and provided an accurate estimate and were ready to get started the following weekend. All his crew were very professional, they arrived on time and took care of covering up the surface inside the house that they would be using, to prevent it from getting dirty. They even cleaned the common areas of my townhome community. I was very impressed with the job done, the backyard and retaining wall turned out beautifully. Just, one thing that they can do better is bring in samples and check inventory from the store from where they purchase materials beforehand. Some of the stones that we wanted and were invoiced were out of stock and we had to settle for an alternate one. Other than that they are wonderful. I would definitely recommend them for your landscaping needs. read more

Fantastic! Ramos and his crew took our backyard -- which I had pretty much given up on -- and turned it into a spot that we can enjoy. Ramos came out and talked through what I was looking for (artificial turf), assessed the situation, and was able to give me a quote the same-day. They went above and beyond with the quality of service, friendly attitude, and attention to detail. 10 out of 10 -- would highly recommend (and already have to my neighbors!) and will work with them again in the future! read more

We recently had our front yard done by Ramos and it turned out beautiful. Ramos listened to our ideas and delivered.Yes we would recommend

Ramos has been maintaining our family's yard for about 6 years. During this time, Ramos' hardscape/landscape portfolio has grown substantially. When we decided it was time to remodel our sad sideyard and backyard, he was our first choice, but we did do some due diligence. In the end, impressed with his Yelp reviews and our consultation, we gladly hired him and his crew. I felt confidant with Ramos' capabilities running the remodel. Communication was strong. Any questions coming from the park management were handled expeditiously. His workers were prompt, professional and experienced. Ramos listened to my design ideas, and turned them into a reality. He impressed me with his suggestions that complemented my vision, and his overall knowledge of what was practical. What was once barely a step above a vacant lot, is now a showpiece that has rewarded us with many compliments. Please see the photos, including some before/after pics. read more

I highly recommend Ramos landscaping if you need to do something with your front yard or backyard. I called a lot of landscaping companies, and they all came out to provide a free estimate. Ramos was the only one that gave the most affordable quote for my whole backyard! I loved how Ramos was able to start working on my backyard in the same week, too!! Ramos listened to what we wanted done and he was able to accommodate our design. He always told us what days his team will come. He even ordered the cement pavers, sand, and rocks. When the materials were being delivered, he notifed us to ensure we were home to sign for the delivery. His team worked very hard every day. I noticed they accomplished a lot at the end of the day. They did a great job of getting rid of all the weeds, digging and flattening the ground, putting down rock &sand, and finally laying out all the pavers. They also added rocks to our retaining wall, since I wanted something to prevent weeds. When I really wanted rubber pavers, Ramos was able to help install them. Overall, I am very happy that we chose Ramos landscaping. His team completed my whole backyard really fast. He provides a 1 year warranty for his work. He was great to work with, since he was always really responsive to our calls, texts, or questions. Thank you Ramos landscaping for making my backyard beautiful!! read more

Ramos helped us with our backyard project and made it an amazing little paradise. I found him on Yelp after reading a few reviews, and he did not disappoint. He was accurate with his initial estimate and made minor modifications to the estimate as my requirements changed slightly. He even got the gazebo installed along with necessary electric outlets around the fence. Above all, they work fast and finished my project in under 2 weeks. Photos speak for their work read more

We reached out to Jesus at Ramos Landscaping on a Monday afternoon. We wanted to get a quote for laying new sod in our backyard. Jesus asked for a picture and said he'd come by the same evening. He did and gave us a very reasonable quote. With his reviews and meeting him we felt good about hiring Jesus on the spot. We asked when he could start and he said tomorrow! He did. He texted my husband the next day when he was later than expected because he was getting the dirt, etc that he'd need for our yard. His guys were terrific. They cleaned up after themselves and our work (including new sprinklers and more sprinklers than we had before) were installed and done in 3 days. Shocking and as of today the grass is growing. It looks lovely! We liked Jesus so much he is going to be our ongoing gardener. The pics attached are immediately following the sod being put down. I'll add pics as the grass really settles in. It's really nice! read more

We had planned to fully renovate our backyard. Having a design in mind, we reached out to many contractors on Yelp and finally chose Ramos and Eladio. We are happy we did so! Ramos was very quick to come and easy to negotiate on the price and very respectful. Gave us the lowest quote compared to everyone else. Ramos sent Eladio to do the project for us. Ask for him if you can. He did a fantastic job. Eladio is very artful and pays attention to the smallest details (I am a nitpicker and I cannot find a flaw in any parts of the work!). We made a few changes during the project and he always accommodated with a smile. We are very happy with the final result. Our yard looks beautiful now. read more

Ramos Landscaping did an excellent job on our backyard project. He came by 2-3 times prior to starting demo to look at the yard, provide an estimate, and finally to ensure our vision and his understanding of the job were the same. He provided a fair estimate and stuck to it, only changing it after some minor additions made by us. His crew arrived every day on time and cleaned up at the end of each day. They were polite, hardworking and very skilled at their jobs. Ramos did an excellent job communicating off days (due to weather) and scheduled regular meetings throughout the project, to keep us informed. 10/10 recommend. read more

My experience with Ramos landscaping was very horrible. I employed Ramos landscaping in march 2023 to regrade the front lawn of my house and re-seed it. The lawn was elevated compared to the surrounding driveway and it was uneven. The job asked for the lawn to be lowered to the driveway level and leveled to be even with the driveway. Ramos initially gave a low quote (matched by another person also), but i went with Ramos. On the day of the work it was clear that he had no intention of doing the job properly. He didn't even bother to rent a dumpster for removing the large amount of dirt that needed to be removed (or skid steer or excavator for properly doing the job which most other companies included in their estimate). He just came in the afternoon with two people, for two hours removed the sod and put some of it in his truck (left some of it in the lawn), moved the soil around to make the remaining part a bit level and declared that his work is done and in the next day, he will spread the seeds. Although a large amount of dirt had to be removed from the lawn in a dumpster (which was done by the next contractor that i hired), Ramos refused to do that and demanded the entire payment and when i discontinued him from the job after the first day, he started sending threatening text messages and phone calls. Overall, i found him to be very dishonest and would never recommend anyone to hire him even if he provides a competitive price at the beginning. Attaching the picture of the lawn before and after Ramos's work. read more

Be aware of this business. We had very decent 2 in-person meetings with Ramos, enjoyed the conversation with him, and were ready to hire him for the job, but when we asked for a statement of work to draft and sign the contract, he suddenly told us he couldn't do the job as he just decided to go on vacation last night with his wife for two weeks (yesterday he told us that he could start the job tomorrow or Friday, and he was committing to the job in the phone call when suddenly he mentioned that change of plan). Prior to that he was also ghosting us without responses or answering phone calls. Now we realized we just dodged a bullet as we trusted all of his words but when push comes to shove, he couldn't follow through. ___ Response to Ramos's Response Below___ We did explored different types of services we may need help for, including what types of lawn to install, whether weed blocking or mulching is needed, which areas we should apply these treatments to, as we figured out what really needs to be done at this stage. However we decided to go with Ramos' full package in the end, including cleanup, and communicated with him via text. He then acknowledged and committed to this full package of work in the call initially, but then later when we asked for a statement of work to prepare the contract and confirmed with him if he has a business license, he switched his attitude and told us about his vacation plan. We have never lowered or negotiated with Ramos on pricing - all the pricing estimates for different types and combos of services were provided by him directly. read more

Ramos and his crew did our backyard remodel recently, I would say we are very glad that we hired him as our landscaper. We found Ramos on Yelp, he offered a reasonable quote and the consultation with him went well. We discussed our design proposal with him and he gave some good suggestions which turned out to be a good complement to our original design. The project took about two weeks to finish and it required various aspects of landscaping work from tree replant, turf laying, concrete work, dripping system installation and fence adjustment. Everything is well communicated and nicely executed. His workers are professional, prompt and pleasant to work with and we also got to learn a lot from him about the yard maintenance as the project went on. Ramos' team helped us to completely re-do our front yard and our back yard. They removed most of the front yard and back yard (grass, weeds, plants, trees, bushes, etc), they installed artificial turf in both the front and back yards, they installed new plants, installed river rocks and bark chips, and installed a new drip irrigation system in both the front and back yards to water the new plants and new garden. The estimate was very reasonable and more affordable than several of the other quotes that we received. Ramos was very responsive when there were any issues or adjustments that needed to be made. A few of the adjustments required reasonable increases in the overall cost of the project. His team is very professional and they all work very hard. We're very pleased with the result and have been able to use and enjoy our new backyard and front yard. We've gotten many compliments from neighbors, friends and family about how great everything looks. We weren't in a hurry to have the job completed, but did want it finished before our kids' summer break, so they could play in the backyard. Ramos was able to meet that deadline. Overall, the project took about a month to complete, with his team coming several days each week. An area that Ramos could improve in is timeliness to appointments, but we completely understand that he's very busy and has many jobs to balance.
